Chapter 45 Still Missed Him A Lot

Chapter 45 Still Missed Him A Lot

“Then help me put on my shirt first,” Julian smiled nonchalantly, while he admired her shy look

satisfyingly.

The Sadie who used to barge in to the bathroom to mess around while he was taking a bath would not

be shy.

She would even ask loads of weird questions. He always remembered, so he could answer her one by

one when she grew up, and also to ask her about the feeling of using it.

Luckily, he lost her but got her back again.

“You…” Sadie returned to the room to get the shirt that was thrown on the bed. She frowned as she

went behind him and reminded him in a hard tone, “Arms out.”

They had a deal, he would let the driver send her back to school after breakfast. But god knows where

he went cuckoo, when he suddenly wanted her to help him into his clothes.

Julian stood up slowly, and shot her a look, his head lopsided. He turned and embraced her his palm

reaching behind her head and pressed her head to his chest, mumbling in a deep voice, “I can’t wait for

three months, what do I do?” Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Sadie’s back stiffened, her cheek pressed to his broad, muscled chest forcefully. No matter how she

struggled it was futile.

That burning feeling came rising up again, her ear was filled with his steady, strong heartbeat.

How would she know what to do, it had not the slightest thing to do with her.

Julian lowered his gaze, as he watched her embarrassed demeanour passionately. He pursed his lips,

and finally let her go. “Go, the driver’s downstairs.”

Sadie heaved a sigh of relief, she had just left his embrace when she was dragged back by him. The

ring finger of her left hand suddenly had a cool feeling.

She lowered her head, and watched him put a ring on her finger in puzzlement. She frowned. “I’m a

student.”

“It’s just a toy,” Julian looked up and spoke calmly. “I’ll give you the full set after.”

Sadie bit her lower lip and did not treat his words to be true.

The driver sent her near the school gate and stopped, just like last week.

The first period in the morning was the theory of public communication, Stefan Poole, the professor

who was teaching the subject was famous in the school for being strict and rigid.

Daisy hated his classes the most, but Sadie quite liked this little old man with a bit of a temper. Every

time during his class, she would write down notes seriously, and today was no exception.

Halfway during class, Daisy moved closer and pinched the ring finger on her left hand, and exclaimed

in a low voice, “Sadie, how could you wear a ring on your ring finger? You can’t wear this simply.”

Sadie was shocked and retracted her hand quickly. She moved her head towards her ear, and spoke in

a volume that only the two could hear, “Don’t be so loud, I bought this at the dollar store.”

“Really?” Daisy widened her eyes in disbelief.

That thing looked legitimate at one look, how was it possible that it was bought at the dollar store.

Sadie coughed lightly, and continued explaining. “I wore it and couldn’t take it out, so I had to buy it. I

didn’t want to wear it on my ring finger as well, but I couldn’t call the firefighting department over this

two-dollar ring, right?”

Daisy nodded thoughtfully and consoled, “Maybe you’ll be able to take it off after wearing it for a while.”

Sadie blinked, as she secretly heaved a sigh of relief and she nodded with a smile.

The exchange between the two was seen clearly by Paige who was sitting in the back. Once the lesson

was over she rushed beside Sadie, grasped her hand and raised it high, “Look, the ugliest of our

school is actually wearing a diamond ring.”

Sadie’s expression went cold. Her clear eyes had a slight bit of coldness in them.

During the first week of school, someone made a post in the school forum to vote for the prettiest in

school, but in the end the prettiest was not decided, but she was voted as the ugliest of the school.

“Let go, Paige!” Daisy reached out and pushed her, and she anxiously pulled Sadie behind her.

“Something must be wrong with you!”

During the weekend, a man who identified himself as Sadie’s family found her and hoped that she

could take care of Sadie more in usual times.

Sadie was not an orphan, just that it was not appropriate for her identity to be announced as of now. He

hoped that she could go to school in peace.

That man was wearing a bespoke suit and his aura was chilly, he was obviously of the upper class.

Paige stumbled as she was pushed, and she could not help to be furious. When she regained her

balance she rushed forwards and pushed Daisy’s shoulder harshly. “Who are you to push me? That

hag was dumped, and you still you can suck up to her.”

When she said this, the classmates who had yet to leave the classroom was immediately silent, their

eyes showed the curiosity of watching gossip.

Daisy was shocked and she looked at Sadie worriedly.

Otto was previously the most popular guy in Communication University, and was outstanding no matter

in looks, wealth or intelligence and talent. It was surprising to everyone when he had taken a fancy

towards her. Now that the news that they had broken up was spread, a lot of people would be laughing

at her.

Sadie was so angry her face went pale, as she reached out and pulled Daisy away and walked out

from behind her calmly. She looked at Paige with a poised demeanour and said, “Even though I was

dumped by him, he would never have taken a fancy to you!”

After she said so, she took Daisy’s hand, held her chin high and walked out of the classroom calmly.

Paige was so furious. Looking at the back of her head she gritted her teeth. “Wait and see, you hag!”

Sadie did not take her threats seriously at all, as she pulled Daisy along and went downstairs, rushing

towards the next class frustratedly.

She always knew that Paige had an enmity towards her, but she never thought that she would

embarrass her in public like that.

No matter it was her who dumped Otto, or she was dumped, she did not like to be the centre of

attention in this way.

“Are you alright?” Reaching the downstairs of the other classroom, Daisy saw that her face was pale

and could not help but be worried.

Sadie heaved a sigh and forced a smile at her, “I’m fine, people are free to say what they like, I can’t

possibly stop them from saying anything.”

Daisy bit her lower lip and felt even guilty. If she had not been nosy and asked her about that ring, this

fiasco would not have happened.

“It’s not your fault, even if you did nothing, she would still find other ways to target me.” Sadie consoled

her and pulled her along with up the stairs.

Daisy lowered her head and was a little hesitant as to whether she should tell her family about this

incident.

When they reached upstairs, she saw that she really did not seem to mind, then she completely

extinguished the thought.

Sadie was capable of handling such minor things, she believed in her.

The three lessons arranged in the morning were all electives. After she had her lunch and went back to

her dormitory, Sadie washed her face and climbed up to her bed. She carefully took out the jewellery

box in her backpack.

She had known Otto for so long, and they have been together for some time. It was the first time he

had given her such an expensive gift.

Too bad there would not be a second time.

She heaved a sigh and her eyes could not help but moistened, she still missed him a lot…

There was not much class in the afternoon and she did not need to work at her part time job. So she

pulled Daisy along with her to the library and they did not return from there until late night.

Paige seemed to forget the incident from the morning, beside her usual rolling of her eyes. It was all

peaceful until Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, Sadie went for her morning jog as usual. But she had not been able to finish her

distance target when she was halted by some policemen on the field.
