“Rooster?” Shit! It’s my dad, I hear Jasper speak and I try to move but my body refuses, enjoying its own idea more and keeping me collapsed on the bed.

“You weren’t answering. I have been trying you for hours. Have you been out with Harley or seen her yet? I can’t get in touch with her and I’m worried.” My dad questions him.

“I was a bit busy Rooster.” Jasper laughs but sounds nervous.

“Oh, I know, Daddy.” My dad laughs, and my eyes widen. “Did you go out with her on the bike, and where did you drop her off?” Shit, we didn’t think of this.

“Yeah, we went out, she asked me to drop her off at the shops. Don’t forget that it is Ivy’s birthday coming up, so she went shopping for a gift.” Jasper replies.

“Fine, if she contacts you for any reason, tell her I am looking for her. I need to talk to her about something.”

“What’s up?” Jasper asks, and I’m glad as my dad sounds worried and apparently needs to talk to me.

“Nothing, bad. I just need to speak to her as soon as possible.” I hear him walk away and Jasper walks back through the door closing.

“Fuck that was close.” His words whispered as he falls back against the door. “It’s a good job this door automatically locks.”

“Not funny baby girl, if he had noticed. Shit.” He walks to me and climbs onto the bed. “I will run a bath, you need to get sorted and we need to get you home. I watch as he walks through to the bathroom, running a bath he pulls. me into it with him. His hands wash my body as I settle against him. I’ m glad he gave in. He laughs telling me about how different I sound when I am drowning in pleasure and it makes me smile. He opens a cupboard in the kitchen, takes out a box, and hands it to me. “For your sister, it’s a necklace. You went shopping and got her that.”

“A necklace? Why do you have a necklace, or do you have a cupboard full of things?” I question looking at him confused.

“No, I bought it for my submissive. It would be her birthday in two weeks, but you ended that, so give it to your sister, so it isn’t wasted.” I nod not arguing, getting sorted we leave together and I wrap my arms around his body.

I’m glad he has clothes at his place that he had bought for his submissives, as wearing that short leather dress wouldn’t have been a good idea. Instead, I am wearing black ripped shorts and a cropped top. He stops outside the house and I look at the car parked outside confused.

“Any idea?” I look at Jasper and his head shakes.

“Not a clue baby girl, your dad’s friends would come on bikes.” He

helps me from the bike and I watch as my dad shows up at the door, he closes it and waits.

“Passed her on the way and thought I would give her a lift.”

“He told me you were trying to get in touch, my phone died.” I smile giving the excuse.

“We need to talk before you go in there, princess.” He looks at me and I panic.

“Daddy, what’s happened?” I hope my mum and Ivy are okay.

“I only found out today when Ivy came home. Your mum knew Ivy’s been dating your ex for a few months. I didn’t want you to just walk in and find out.”

“Who? Daddy, who is it?” I know, he doesn’t even need to say it.

“It’s Joel, I didn’t know you two weren’t together. When she brought him home today your mum and Ivy told me you broke it off with him just after you left. I just didn’t want you walking in and kicking off. She likes him, Harley, it’s wrong what she has done, but she likes him.”

“She can’t date him, what happened to her saving herself for marriage?” There is no way Joel will go for that.

“It’s been years princess, he has changed. Apparently, he loves her enough to wait.” That’s bullshit. “Look, I will give you a minute to get used to it, then come in.” He turns and walks in. I can’t do this, I should just leave.

“Baby girl.” I look up and see Jasper. “What are you so hurt over?”

“I’m not hurt, I’m just worried for Ivy.” I am, because what if he does to her what he did to me?

“Why? What Is making you worried for her?” He stands facing me, and I can’t say.

“I know Joel Daddy, he isn’t willing to wait, so if she isn’t open to it, he will cheat on her.”

“And she will find out, you can’t protect her baby girl. She chose to be with him, so let her.”

“You don’t understand.” No one does.

“Then tell me so I can.” He looks at me waiting, and I can’t.

“It doesn’t matter.” I walk past him and in, trying to take deep breaths as I do.
