I immediately entered one of the penthouse units located on the top floor which was the most luxurious unit among the other units.

I went upstairs first before broDafa , because she had to park the car first .

The elevator stopped right on the 30th floor , I immediately got out of the elevator and sure enough the design of the halls of the penthouse looked very luxurious , different from the design of the penthouse that I had seen before .

I immediately opened the door code in the room unit according to the number given to me by Ms. Dafa before I went up here.

The door opened immediately , I was really surprised when I saw someone sitting on one of the sofas in the living room .

broJoan looked at me with a familiar look, I often saw that expression when she was showing her disappointment at me.

I immediately approached broJoan even though she continued to ignore me. I immediately sat beside her and quickly hugged her body which was covered with wounds.

“Are you okay?” I asked as he lifted his face which had been looking away from the other side.

The man immediately looked at me with a sharp gaze “What are you doing here, are you tired of playing with Dilan, Li?” Joan’s sneer made me feel as if I was crushed for a moment.

I looked at him with a slightly annoyed look, for some reason I couldn’t reply to his words this time, my mind was just busy listening to what I had just heard.

How did he know that I had met Dilan, did he witness our meeting directly?

I ruffled my hair in frustration thinking about the answers to those questions . My husband just glared at me behaving like that.

“How are you, are you still sick, do you need to go to the hospital?” I asked breaking the silence between us.

“It’s pretty much better, there’s no need” The answer was short, solid and clear.

“I’m sorry” I said awkwardly, my hand reflexively stretched out towards him.

My husband knit his brows, he really doesn’t understand what I’m doing right now, it’s really very embarrassing, it seems this is a very old-fashioned way of apologizing in his eyes.

broJoan turned her gaze back to Ms. Dafa, who had just entered the room.

broDafa brought a suitcase containing my clothes that I will use to stay here for a few days, the three of us will not live under the same roof, to be more precise, I exchanged for a while with Ms. Dafa who also moved a few days to my husband and I’s private house.

I brought my slender body closer to his burly body, occasionally I rubbed his back without the slightest shame or guilt.

The man just looked at me with his cold gaze, he didn’t really pay attention to me.

“Did you treat your wound?” I asked to which he only gave a small nod.

“Have you eaten?” I asked again and still only responded with a nod.

“If you are hungry or need something, just tell me!”

” No need ” he answered in a slightly high tone .

The man immediately stood up , was about to take a step to avoid me , but his footsteps immediately stopped , his body swayed for a moment , I do not know what happened to him .

” broJoan ” I immediately ran to him who had collapsed on the floor .

broJoan did not faint , but her condition is not fine at the moment , her body is very hot .

” Are you okay dear ? ” I asked not realizing the call .

The man looked at me with his gaze that began to fade, I could see a smile curved on his sweet lips, until he finally passed out in my arms.

I kept shaking his body while calling out to broDafa.

” broTER DAF , HELP ME , broTER JOAN FAILED ” I shouted echoing throughout the room .

broDafa immediately appeared with a panicked face.

” Li what , why did Joan faint again ? ”

“I also don’t know bro, but her body is very hot, I think her body is infected”

broDafa immediately supported my husband ‘s body , fortunately broDafa ‘s body is taller than my husband ‘s body , so it was not too difficult for him to take him to his room .

Kak Dafa immediately threw my husband’s body into the large and luxurious bed.

Ms. Dafa immediately fiddled with her cellphone to call one of the doctors trusted by the Rivenno family. After the call was connected, Ms. Dafa immediately left the room to chat with the doctor on the other side of the phone.

Unlike me, who remained faithful in the room to accompany my husband who was in a state of unconsciousness, I brought my face closer to his face which looked still handsome even though it was filled with wounds.
