I stood in front of the main bedroom door, my body was shaking uncontrollably. The feeling of tightness returned, just a few minutes ago I woke up. My intention was to come to my parents’ room, namely to ask for my stock of medicines that Mommy had kept.

But what I heard were things I shouldn’t have heard. Starting from their divorce, the truth about my broter Kenzie and the most disgusting thing was finding out that the three of us were illegitimate children.

Really, it’s so cramped in here. I never thought that the family that I thought was happy without the slightest suffering was actually full of secrets.

Inside there was still the noise of Mommy and Daddy arguing, the most audible was the sound of something being broken by one of them, I don’t know who, I couldn’t guess because I could only hear without seeing.

I immediately returned to my room which was on the second floor, with my body staggering, I tried to stay strong to walk into the room even though my hands had to hold the wall to balance my body which was almost collapsing.

When I got to the room, I immediately laid my body on the king-sized bed. I glanced at the clock on the wall, it’s still 11. 13 WIB, it seems like it’s still a long time to wait for bro Keenan to come home from school first.

I grabbed the cellphone that was on the nightstand, I immediately sent a short message to kak Keenan’s WA.

(bro, can you skip school today? There’s something I want to talk to you about, it’s really important. Don’t ask Kenzie! If you can, we’ll meet at half past twelve in the cafe near the school)

Send , I pressed the send button to your contact. After that I put my cellphone back in its original place, I lowered my body back from the bed. My intention was just to just replace my clothes with slightly formal clothes, because the clothes I’m wearing right now are just a thin T-shirt with leggings.

I fixed myself in the bathroom, for a few minutes I came back complete with a knee-length black dress, which looks very cute when worn by a beautiful woman like me.

Ah, I’m so confident. But in fact I am very beautiful anyway. I can justify people’s compliments about my body and face which are beautiful to the eye, I see my reflection in the mirror of a large wardrobe. I saw that my face looked very pale, so I finally applied a little lip tint to my thin lips. After feeling that my appearance was perfect, I rushed to take my small bag and didn’t forget to take the cellphone that I had placed on the nightstand.

I activated my cellphone, I saw on the screen that there was already a chat notification from bro Keenan. I immediately opened it without thinking.

I immediately put my cell phone in my bag and left the house through the back door. Fortunately, my parents were still busy fighting in the room, the household members were not seen outside the room either.

In front of me was seen a large street that was filled with passing vehicles. Even I immediately stopped a taxi that happened to be passing on that street.

“Where are you going ne?” asked the taxi driver to me.

“To the cafe near JIS, sir,” I explained, the driver seemed to nod. I made sure he knew where I was going because there is only one cafe around JIS.

I immediately got into the taxi, the taxi went straight to my destination. Approximately ten minutes later I got out of the taxi, I saw bro Keenan waving his hand from one of the tables in the big cafe.

“You’re taking too long,” said bro Keenan when I was already sitting in the chair opposite him.

“Here, drink first, I ordered for Lo ran,” said bro Keenan, handing me a glass of apple juice. Even though he is a delinquent, he is a good brother in my eyes.

I immediately drank the juice until it was half left, bro Keenan just snorted in annoyance seeing me who was like a thirsty camel.

“This is about you, me and Kenzie. Earlier I heard Daddy and Mommy fussing in the room and saying that Kenzie is not our broter,” I said again. I stopped this conversation first because I saw bro Keenan’s expression of disbelief.

“What? Are you kidding? Don’t joke, Ki! This isn’t funny you know!” he said, as if to think if what I just said was a joke.

“I’m not serious bro, Kenzie is Mommy’s broter. Step broter. The late Liam’s father got pregnant with a girl who was not far from Mommy’s age, if I’m not mistaken her name is Grace.”

“Seriously, Lo Ki? You’re not joking anymore, are you? I really can’t believe why Mommy and Daddy made Kenzie our twin. No wonder his face isn’t as handsome as mine, oh it turns out he’s my uncle.”

I nodded at all of bro Keenan’s words, her expression was getting serious. He took a sip of the drink that was in front of him to get rid of the burning feeling in his chest.

I was silent for a while, letting bro Keenan’s feelings calm down a little. In the end I preferred to stare at the co-gans who were beside our table. The group of men were wearing the same badge that Keenan was currently wearing.

“Wow, are you satisfied staring at Cogan?” jerk kak Keenan startled me.

I immediately turned my face to look at bro Keenan again, my face which had blushed immediately became tense like a dry kanebo.

I continued our conversation again, even though I still wasn’t ready. But bro Keenan had to find out soon, so that we could prevent our parents’ divorce and solve the problem about Kenzie.

“About Kenzie, that’s the first news, bro,”

“The news for both, our parents want to divorce. I don’t know the reason, but at first glance I heard that Mommy said she didn’t have long to live,” I explained softly, bro Keenan widened her eyes in disbelief. bro Keenan immediately posted a photo of me on his personal social media, he wanted to make an alibi when he came home later. Mommy and Daddy are always monitoring the posts of their three children, they are even willing to create social media and follow our accounts. We are afraid we will do something out of line.

bro Keenan smiled contentedly looking at his cellphone screen, I understand this is a tactic. Mommy and Daddy will definitely understand us when they get home, I just want to find an excuse if I really want to drink coffee at this cafe.

“What are your plans next, are you willing for our parents to separate? I’m not sure,” I said shaking my head, the hairs on my neck crawled at the thought of us having to go back and forth to see our parents whose lives were divided.
