Natalee never dared to refuse Eric. She nodded. “I see, Eric.”

“Chaim, come to the study and tell me about how the company has been doing recently,” said Eric, standing up with his walking stick.

Chaim glanced at Eric’s back and followed him.

In the study, Eric put away his walking stick.

Supported by Jeff, he sat on the armchair aside.

Jeff left tactfully, leaving the room to Chaim and Eric.

“What do you think of Samara?”

Chaim only found Eric’s words funny. “What should I think?”

she is Kadin’s daughter. She is more than a great match for you!”

that piece of land north of the city over to Samara?

“What about Gloria then? She is your sister, but you punished her yourself. Don’t tell me that you still haven’t paid back those

billions of dollars that you owe Samara.”

Chaim looked at Eric. Chaim’s Adam’s apple rolled slightly, but he did not speak.

It would be a lie to say that he did not have any feelings for Samara at all.

you.”
