Rhys was helping Jenna out, but Breanna's question made him frown. How could someone from the secretary's department be so clueless? His displeasure was evident in his tone. Breanna was taken aback and quickly lowered her head, feeling even more frustrated with Jenna for causing this situation

She had hoped to impress Rhys today, but everything had been ruined because of Jenna. “I understand, Mr. Williams. I'll inform them right away.” Reluctantly, Breanna conveyed the message even though there had been no response from the public relations department yet.

Rhys clearly stood on Jenna's side and watched as Breanna left. He couldn't help but think about what he overheard in the break room earlier. Those employees’ words made sense. He and Jenna had been married for a long time but she rarely came to the company. It would only give employees an impression that he didn't like Jenna very much. Moreover, with this incident happening now, it wasn't hard to imagine how bad things were for her.

With these thoughts in mind, Rhys immediately picked up his phone and called Jenna who answered promptly. "I rushed out of our house this morning and accidentally left some files behind on my desk in a blue folder. I'm busy here, I can't leave, please send it over."

Upon hearing Rhys' request, Jenna was hesitant since she'd never done anything like it before.

Given all that she’s owed to the Williams family, she agreed eventually. "Sure thing! I'll bring it over shortly.”

Rhys breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing her response. "Great! I've informed the receptionist desk so you can come straight up when you arrive.” Her goal was to have Jenna come to the company and tell everyone that he stood firmly on Jenna's side.

After hanging up the phone, Jenna quickly arrived at Rhys’ study.

She immediately saw the document Rhys had mentioned, which was placed in the center of his desk with no other documents around it.

Jenna was a bit puzzled. Rhys was usually very careful and wouldn't make such a basic mistake.

They offered their own opinions while Breanna happened upon these conversations right after coming downstairs.

"What are you guys talking about? Did Mrs. Williams come here?"

Once Jenna arrived at the office building floor level, someone came forward immediately, offering assistance by guiding her directly towards Rhys' office.
