Chapter 901
In the morning, Debra was leaning against the sofa, enjoying her breakfast.
A maid approached her and reported, "Madam, Miss Bernard is here to see you. Would you like to meet her?" "You're sure it's just Cathryn alone?" Debra asked.
"Yes, she didn't bring anyone else," the maid confirmed.
Debra's expression turned serious, and the maid offered, "If you don't want to see her, I'll send her away."
Debra said, "I'll see her. Also, dismiss half of the security guards in the house, but do it discreetly. Don't let anyone notice."
The maid looked confused.
Debra added, "If anything unusual happens, just act naturally. Notify Marion and call the police if needed."
The maid agreed and left to carry out the orders.
Soon, Cathryn entered the room. There Debra was, lounging on the sofa, wearing a champagne-colored silk nightgown that accentuated her perfect figure. The lace trim at the chest hinted at her cleavage, making her look incredibly sexy. Even a woman would be captivated by her appearance.
The thought of Marion and Debra entwined in bed every night made Cathryn's heart ache. She had known Marion first, and she had fallen for him first.
"Miss Bernard, what brings you here today?" Debra asked with a faint smile.
Cathryn stepped forward. "I came to beg you to leave Marion."
"Marion and I are already married. Don't you think your request is a bit presumptuous?" Debra replied.
"But Marion is in real danger now. Although the shareholders won't do anything to him, they know you're his weakness. And my father... One his death bed, he entrusted me to Marion Marion agreed. Now he's going back on his word, and this gives others an excuse to attack him. Do you want Marion to be labeled as unrighteous?" Cathryn said anxiously.
Debra's smile faded. She set her teacup on the table. "So, this is the reason you're colluding with the other shareholders to push Marion out of his position?" Cathryn was momentarily speechless.
Debra continued, "You're just using this as an excuse to force Marion to marry you. You don't care if he loses everything he's worked for. You're just selfishly trying to possess him. You know you, but

advantage."
"No, that's not true. Marion really promised me," Cathryn stammered.
"We both know Marion is not an indecisive man. I believe he promised to take care of you out of respect for your father. But he has also made it clear that he doesn't love you and won't marry you. He only promised to provide you with a comfortable life. Am I right?" Debra said.
Her words struck a chord with Cathryn, whose face paled. "Did Marion tell you this?"RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
"He didn't, but I'm sure now. Otherwise, you wouldn't be reacting so strongly," Debra replied.
Debra never doubted Marion's love for her. He had given everything he had to her.
Cathryn, on the other hand, was tormented by Marion's honesty. She wished he would give her even a sliver of hope.
