Chapter 1157

Chapter 1157 King of Private Hospitals

Miriam's threats did not faze Kaze.

No one could stop him from doing the things he wanted to do.

Sensing Kaze's determination, Miriam knew there was no way out of the situation.

*Alright. Since you don't seem to have learned your lesson, we'll see if Victoria International Hospital remains standing after today."

Gritting her teeth, Miriam took out her phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, Mr. Hobbs. A bastard started a commotion at the hospital and assaulted me. Now the leaders of various departments are apparently coming. The bastard even threatened to revoke our business license.

"Victoria International Hospital might be gone before you get here."

The moment the call went through, Miriam's voice transformed. Sobs wracked her body as she spoke in a coy tone.

*Oh, is there someone that powerful in the city? I want to see the individual who can revoke the business license. might just revoke his license to live.

*Hang in there. I'll be there soon."

A gruesome voice came on the other end of the line, and quickly, the call ended.

Putting down the phone, Miriam looked at Kaze smugly. "You have pissed Mr. Hobbs off, asshole. Do you know he owns many private hospitals?

"He's basically the king of private hospitals.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

"You're dead meat."

The statement troubled many.

The families of Will and his team, especially, were worried.

It took a lot of money and resources to set up a private hospital.

However, Miriam mentioned that the guy ran most of the private hospitals in Lilyrose.

The person must be someone important.

Will's wife persuaded in hushed tones, "Mr. Lee, maybe we should just forget it. You have an extensive network in the government, but Mr. Hobbs is the owner of many private hospitals.

*It appears Mr. Hobbs' influence runs deep in the city. I doubt the local council would want the hospital to be shut down."

Most of Lilyrose's private hospitals were under one owner's control. From the viable assets to the jobs created, the owner had built a massive capitalist enterprise.

Even the local council would not allow the capitalist to collapse.

It would bring an entire enterprise to its knees.

*Hmph! At least someone has better senses here."

Miriam gave Kaze a triumphant look. "Are you scared now? Well, you should get down on your knees, and we can talk about compensation to us."

Kaze ignored the noisy woman and patted Will's wife's shoulder. "Don't be afraid. The world doesn't stop for anyone. Nothing is too massive to bring down.

"Here's the thing. Take Will and the others to the orthopedics for treatment. I know the hospital director there. The staff won't put you in the spot.

"I've contacted the department, and an ambulance will be here soon."

Kaze led the families into the trauma room to wheel Will and the other patients out.

It would be a struggle for the family members to get Will and his team out of Victoria International Hospital.

Kaze turned to the general workers occupying space in the hallway. "If some of you could help with transporting them out. I trust you are an innocent party in this. I have no intention of taking your job away.

"Even if I have to shut Victoria International Hospital today, you will get to keep your jobs."
