Heartstrings on Fire (Agnes and Jared)

Chapter 591

Chapter 591

A look of extreme pride shone on Brayden’s face as he asked, “Have you met my son?”

Jared was taken aback, “You have a son? When did this happen?”

At this, Brayden looked extremely pissed, “I just found out myself. That woman insisted on divorcing

me and disappeared afterwards. When I finally found her, our son was already three years old. Can

you believe that? That’s my son too, and I had no idea he existed all this time. I missed out on his birth

and his growing up. Do you have any idea how much regret and pain that brings me?”

He took another swig of his drink after saying this.

Jared seemed to be pondering something and also took a sip of his drink.

A hint of a sad smile appeared at the corners of Jared’s mouth as he said, “At least she was willing to

give birth to your child.”

Thinking about his own unborn child with Agnes, Jared felt utterly miserable.

Brayden, on the other hand, seemed to cheer up and couldn’t stop talking about his son, “You haven’t

seen the little guy. He’s a spitting image of me. It’s phenomenal. Looking at him is like looking at my

younger self. He’s even more mischievous than I was, smart as a whip, and quite the looker. He’s

definitely my son.”

Jared gave him a nonchalant glance, asking,“won’t your wife be mad that you have a son?”

“She can get as mad as she wants, I don’t care. You think I would have married her if the Simonds

Group wasn’t under the control of the Davies family? Let me tell you, I haven’t touched her in all these

years.”

The things that had happened in the Simonds family over the years were too much to put into words.

Jared knew that Brayden still had feelings for Kerri.

And he absolutely despised Maisie. Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

With the support of the Davies family, Maisie had made Brayden’s life miserable.

It had been a while since Jared had seen Brayden so happy.

Only when he mentioned his son did a ray of light pierce Brayden’s dark life.

Just then, the door of the room suddenly opened.

Two men in black came in, Sir, we’ve brought the young master.”

Brayden immediately stood up and saw a little boy lying on the shoulder of one of the men in black.

The little boy seemed to be sleeping.

Brayden thought to himself, “That’s my son alright! Being able to sleep under these circumstances. The

kid’s got nerves of steel.”

Brayden immediately ran over, picked up the little boy, and with a doting smile on his face said, “Hey

little guy, call me daddy.”

But when he got a good look at the boy’s face, Brayden’s expression immediately changed.

He was stunned for a moment.

Jared seemed to sense something was off and walked over, asking, “What’s wrong?”

Brayden put the sleeping child on the sofa and replied, “This is not my son!”

Brayden then turned to the two men standing nearby.

The two men immediately explained, “Sir, this must be Dr. Bradford’s son. He was lying on Dr.

Bradford’s bed. We didn’t see any other children at

the time.”

Brayden looked at the child again, looking extremely angry, “Did she have a son behind my back? This

unreliable woman, I need to have a word with her.”

Jared looked at the sleeping child and frowned, “Calm down. This isn’t your son, nor is it Kerri’s.”

Brayden calmed down and looked at Jared with confusion, “Do you know this child?”
