Hello, CEO! Don’t Play With Me!

[58]

“You look fine,” Andrew said as he held out a bottle of mineral water that he had unscrewed. The interview with The Collage involving SEO’s newest model; Harvey Princessa along with Giselle as a special guest was well organized. most of the talk in the interview was about their achievements and the work they have done during their time in the modeling world.

Not too much about the personal lives of the two beautiful models who seem to get along well both in front of the camera and behind the camera. The warm atmosphere and friendship between the two of them made the interview that Andrew’s team conducted run very smoothly.

After the interview, there was some free time to take advantage of. Which is where Harvey is immediately pulled by Justin to try on the dresses that are almost finished. There was not just one, but five or six models that Harvey had to try on. Meanwhile, everyone else was soon busy with their own work.

This left Giselle to talk to Hans about the concept of her latest promotion. Since the Shusui brand left the promo materials to Giselle and the team, she had to think about it too. Don’t make Hans too much trouble because there’s a lot for the slightly chubby man to take care of. Also Andrew who seemed to be talking quite busy on the phone before finally asking The Collage team to go home first.

“You want me to get sick, huh?” asked Giselle with an unhappy look. Even so, Giselle still accepted Andrew’s mineral bottle. She also thanked him for making it easier for her to drink immediately. Not bad for quenching the thirst that had been plaguing her.

They chose to sit on one of the chairs in the garden outside the SEO building. As long as Giselle remembered the expansion of the building, it never crossed her mind that Justin would create a garden with such a cool landscape that could relieve her fatigue. Perhaps that’s why Justin created this beautiful garden.

“No.” Andrew laughed. “I’m glad to see you happy and laughing a lot. It means you have nothing to worry about in terms of your work and daily life, right?”

Giselle turned to the man beside her. Ever since his arrival, Giselle had somehow felt that there was something different about Andrew’s demeanor. Even now, where she could clearly see the all-too-real sadness in the man’s eyes. As if the words symbolized him being… sad?

“I actually have a lot to worry about.” Giselle chuckled. She no longer looked at Andrew, preferring to follow where he was looking. At the beautifully manicured garden with many flowers beginning to bloom. “I’m afraid my work doesn’t satisfy some people. They only praise me when I’m in front of them, but once I return to my original routine, they start talking about me. It’s as if they’re not satisfied with what I’ve done.”

“You can’t satisfy that many people with what you can, Giselle,” Andrew said with a laugh. “I thought you wouldn’t think of something like that.”Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

Giselle chuckled. “That’s not the only thing I’m thinking about. How will the contract work continue, what can I do to survive in this place that I find foreign. Even after all this time, I still feel foreign.”

Andrew took a quick glance and nodded in understanding. “At least you can socialize very well. I admire your determination.”

“You praise me as if I were flawless,” Giselle looked up slightly, enjoying the sunlight that was blocked by the lush leaves. It shaded their seats so that it was not too hot but cool and the breeze that blew, was truly lulling. “You know how I was before.”

“That’s what I’m saying, I admire your determination. Keep going and improve yourself to be better.”

Giselle laughed again. “You’re really good at using your mouth to say sweet things.”

“I didn’t mean it that way,” Andrew said with a chuckle. “It was just honesty.”

“Never mind, hearing you say things like that often makes me forget where I’m from.” Giselle smiled sadly. “I still haven’t forgotten my original intention of approaching even though I’m trying to forget. Because the more I know about how you behave, I’m sure you’re not playing around with your words.”

“Thank goodness I at least got your confession.” Andrew chuckled. “I’m really glad to hear that.”

For some reason, hearing Andrew’s laughter this time relieved Giselle a little. It was as if the laughter also represented something that relieved her of pressure. And Giselle was happy about that. At least, there was something she could do just to comfort Andrew.

No, she didn’t. What Giselle did was simply to repay Andrew’s kindness. She was in a bad mood during the work Giselle was doing, and then the jar of chocolates Andrew sent her rejuvenated her. No matter how many pouts and scornful looks she got from her models or work partners, as long as she did the rest of the work well and the results were satisfactory, that was more than enough.

And the chocolate jar Andrew had given her was the ultimate savior and one thing that Giselle was happy about; Brina couldn’t help but notice that the calorie count and sugar content in the jar was different from the snacks Giselle usually bought at her local grocery store. So the girl was free to eat all the cookies in the jar.

Andrew’s cell phone rang loudly enough to make Giselle unconsciously glance at the man. It looked like Andrew was in a hurry to pick up his cell phone. It didn’t matter to Giselle if Andrew left her just to pick up the phone.

She realized that Andrew and Justin were the same. they had a big responsibility to take care of and do it well. there were a lot of eyes on them, questioning all their decisions and results. At least, that was what Giselle thought of the man who looked great in his navy blazer. Come to think of it, Andrew rarely wore clothes that looked random. All the colors he wore always looked just right and made him look quite charming.

For some people, that would be a sudden thought that comes to Giselle’s mind. But for Giselle, a man like Andrew is nothing more than a pretty good coworker. That’s it.

Meanwhile, Andrew, who glanced at who the caller was just now, only displayed a cold look. His face suddenly stiffened. The smile that was originally there to accompany Giselle disappeared without a trace. He also turned off his cell phone immediately. he didn’t want any other interruptions from anywhere. if there was an important work matter, Nindy would have told him.

Besides there were some things that had to be discussed by the SEO party, being represented by Nindy was not a problem. Nindy has a work ethic that can keep up with how Andrew acts. Even before heading to the SEO building, they had a meeting with a client that was quite important for the sustainability of The Collage.

“You didn’t pick up?” asked Giselle with a look of surprise. She inadvertently asked this of the man who looked upset.

“It’s not that important.”

Giselle chose to just nod. Trying to restrain herself from asking too many questions to people who are still strangers to her life.

“In the near future, do you have plans to go out of town again? A work session perhaps?”

Giselle shook her head. “Monochrome is coming up soon. My schedule was switched for the month after the show. I also need to concentrate on the show this time. You know, a lot of people are expecting me to perform. That’s why there was a session during Monochrome where Harvey performed, and I was in the middle of the fashion show.”

Andrew nodded in understanding. “The Collage will help with the problem of exclusive broadcasting. You will get ba -”

“Sir,” Nindy half ran to Andrem. Her breathing was labored. Her face also looked flushed. In her hand was a cell phone held up. “Sir, your father is in the office, he wants to see you immediately. Did you turn off the cell phone?”
