Hello, CEO! Don’t Play With Me!

There’s nothing more exciting in Giselle’s life right now than being with Justin. Just the two of them. Enjoying the refreshing air above the hills. The area they were visiting this time looked much smaller. There was a lot of activity down there, it looked busy and like what Giselle had been through in the city center, not unlike the always bustling Centralia.

“Do you like it?” asked Justin as he handed Giselle a hot chocolate.

“If Brina were here, I would definitely be put on a multi-layered diet.”

Justin laughed at Giselle’s words. “Did you have chocolate with Andrew last night?”

“Just one glass.”

The air in the hills was quite cool, not to the point where Giselle had to regret her choice of clothing. There was also no need for an extra scarf because it was still acceptable for Giselle’s alabaster-white skin.

“At least you didn’t eat chocolate cookies the day before. Right?”

Giselle just grinned. “I was so busy that I forgot that chocolate cookies were a part of my life.”

Justin only responded with a chuckle.

“I’d like to personally congratulate you on the success of Monochrome last night, Justin. I know, your capacity is truly extraordinary.”

The man nodded, sipping his coffee slowly. “Next year, I want something sexy. I think red is quite acceptable.”

Giselle shook her head in surprise. “You just finished a long job but are already thinking about something else? Does your brain not stop working?”

“Working in a world like ours, if you don’t think tactically and immediately, and take advantage of the momentum that exists, you will be left far behind. you must realize that, right? your flying hours must have taught you that we must be able to adjust to the existing market. it cannot be denied, designers have their own ideals but still have to follow what the market wants for certain models. If you don’t want to be eroded by the rapid progress of the times. That’s why I have two lines that you know what the market price is.”

Giselle smiled broadly. she was proud of what Justin had to say when it came to his work. It was never in Justin’s dictionary to work half-heartedly. Everything was done with a lot of hard work and thought. Everything is well calculated.

“Oiya, Justin,” Giselle didn’t want to waste the opportunity. Although most of her heart was aware of what was happening, but still, her ego was sky-high. There was no way she could ignore Justin’s presence in her heart.

“What?” asked Justin with a frown on his forehead. When Giselle didn’t speak, she fiddled with the hem of her hoodie. Like someone who was nervous but because of what?

“If Andrew had decided to get married, even though I think they did it unwillingly, but I think that love can exist out of habit.”

“Maybe. I never thought about it. It just didn’t cross my mind.” Justin went back to savoring his coffee. “I still want to focus on the works that are running through my head, Giselle. Or… do you want to get married? To who?”

“Are you crazy?” Giselle frowned but then smiled broadly. “But if the groom is you, I don’t mind. I’m willing.”NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

Giselle’s words were met with a big laugh from Justin. “This is you.” Even the one where Justin’s hand ruffled Giselle’s hair without caring, the girl would be angry because her hairdo, which was only half-pinned, was messed up by his actions.

“I’m serious, Justin.” Giselle lowered Justin’s hand slowly. She put down the glass she had been savoring the contents of. Even Justin’s coffee cup so as not to disturb him who wanted to talk. She tried to forget the words Justin had said to her when he drove her to the ministry some time ago.

Last night, after finding out what happened to Andrew, Giselle was relieved. At least, there weren’t as many questions in her mind about why Andrew had suddenly drifted away. Gisel didn’t want to interfere too much, though. It is enough to pray that what they choose will have the best impact on their lives in the future.

At the very least,…

“After this, I hope our friendship is no longer tenuous,” Andrew said in a low tone. the look in his eyes no longer had any joy. Even so, Giselle didn’t want to ask too many questions. She could only encourage him.

“You pushed me away, didn’t you? I stayed in the same place. You said you were busy. Me too. But maybe a month ago, you were at a point of indecision about a decision that would change your life?”

“I guess so,” said Andrew, who was still unwilling to raise his eyes.

“We’re still good friends, really. You shouldn’t worry too much.”

They were silent for a while. Perhaps each of them absorbed the conversation which was quite exciting and seemed to be very private. If it’s already a family matter, Giselle feels that this story cannot be carelessly shared with others.

“May I know something, Giselle?” This time, Andrew tried to look at Giselle. It would probably be longer than usual. At least, for one last time before everything started.

“About?” Giselle blinked in surprise. “As long as I can answer it, I will.”

“With honesty?”

“Have you ever seen me lie?” Giselle snickered.

“In case… I cancel the marriage because my feelings for you are too great, can you give me a little space? More than just a friend?”

“Why should it be canceled? Didn’t you say yourself that this marriage is not only for business, but it’s also related to your mother?”

Andrew nodded slowly.

“Although I disagree on that part, you have the right to be free to decide who your partner is. I think your father needs to straighten out his thoughts on what a child is and his love and business goals. But…” Giselle shrugged. “You know best what’s best.”

“If I can break free from their clutches, can I ask for your heart?”

Giselle smiled faintly. “My heart is already occupied by someone else.”

“Does that person also have the same feelings as you?”

For this question, Giselle was silent. She chose to clear her throat briefly and then took a sip of her hot chocolate.

“I don’t think so, yes.” Andrew sighed softly.

“None of your business, right?”

“Indeed,” Andrew said with a sad smile. “But at least I know if the hardness of your heart opened up because of someone else. Is there no room for me?”

“If there is, what do you want to do?”

Andrew looked Giselle straight in the eye and confidently said, “I’ll make that very small part full of my name.”

“Your marriage?”

Andrew smiled instead. Deflecting the conversation that Giselle thought was quite exciting if ignored but still, Giselle’s mind was no longer as calm as usual. Even so, Giselle believed that Andrew would not do anything strange. from what the man sitting in front of her said, Andrew’s position was not in a position to benefit from the marriage. even if Giselle could say, Andrew’s position was at a point where he had to accept everything without exception.

The conversation came out of nowhere because what Andrew said was true. Giselle realized that she couldn’t be in Justin’s heart as a woman. He thought of her as a little sister to be fiercely protected.

“Do I really not strike you as a woman? One that you can love and share many things in life that are more personal than Justin?”

Justin looked down at his hand that Giselle was holding. He sighed and patted the back of her hand gently. “You know my answer, right? And it’s going to be like that, Giselle. You’re valuable to my life, but more than you know, I can’t.”

Giselle was silent.

“This is the last time I’ll talk about my feelings for you. Don’t ever ask me anything that makes you hurt again. I don’t want our relationship to be ruined just because of something like this. I don’t consider it trivial, but I can’t consider it ruining what I’ve planned and what you have to go through.”

There was no response from Giselle which made Justin exhale a long breath. “We’re going home now? I think Harvey’s waiting for you.”

Before Justin’s hand in Giselle’s was completely released, the girl said, “If one day you meet a woman who makes your heart have different feelings, will you leave me?”
