Her Raging Flame [English Version]

Chapter 53

I opened my eyes and looked around. Darkness immediately dawned on me and sadness immediately enveloped me. I moved to the other side of the bed in case Maverick was there. I touched a hot and hard flesh moaning. I heaved out a sigh of relief. So what happened earlier is all true. I’m not delusional or just dreaming. Maverick is really here by my side.

I opened the lamp shade before crawling to lie back next to the sleeping man. I crouched under the blanket and propped my elbow on the pillow. I leaned my head on my palm and caressed Maverick’s chest. He automatically squeezed my waist as he sank into my chest.

“Hmm,” he muttered.

He also put his leg on my thigh so I can’t move any further from him. I pushed his lower torso away and adjusted my body so I don’t get crushed by his immense weight. My bed is just enough for the two of us in terms of space but I just don’t know if it won’t give up especially if Maverick thinks of railing me again.

I combed his hair while not leaving my eyes on this sleeping giant who sleeps like a baby. His mouth is a little open, a sign that he is really tired. Who wouldn’t get tired with all that he’s doing with me. The man is really insatiable. I think we baptized almost every corner of my little cabin except the bed because I’m concerned about its durability. He agreed not to do it in bed because he also doesn’t want to sleep on the floor.

My body is also sore and tender from all the lovemaking but I can’t let this moment pass. I miss watching him while sleeping. I used to do this back on the island and in his penthouse. This little pleasure was the one I missed the most when I left.

I kissed his head while massaging his temple.

“I love you Mav,” I muttered.

He groaned in his sleep. “Love ya, Fem.”

My eyes squinted and I lightly punched his forehead.

“You are such a liar, Fuentebella. I don’t really talk in my sleep. You’re not obviously that crazy for me, are you? ”

He just moaned again as if he wanted to protest before he moved closer towards me. I straightened up and closed my eyes with a smile on my face. All is well with my life now with him beside me.

I woke up to the sound of giggles. I just ignored it because I’m still so sleepy. I tightened the hug on Maverick’s arm and gave in to my tiredness.

The next minute, I was awoken again by a muffled laughter. That’s when I opened my eyes. I saw Maverick stiffened while holding his camera near my face. It took me a few more seconds to finally register what he’s doing.

I glared at him and grabbed a pillow and repeatedly hit his face. His shoulder was shaking from my blows.

“Erase that,” I ordered him and grabbed his cellphone which he quickly took away.

“Not a fat chance, dear. I worked hard for those angles.”

I rolled my eyes at him and went back to bed. I covered myself with a blanket. A few moments later, someone poked at my side.

“What?” I pretended to be annoyed while secretly smiling.

He removed the blanket from my head and hugged me from behind. He kissed my neck and shoulders before whispering hoarsely.

“It’s just for my personal consumption. No one will see this aside from me of course.”

He ran his finger down my exposed arm. I gulped at the sensations his touch was giving me.

I turned to him. “Let me see.”

We looked at the badly taken pictures of me. There are a few shots with my mouth open with a dried saliva on the side of my mouth.

“Ew, I look so gross here,” I pointed out in the last picture.

He quickly kissed me on my mouth.

“It’s okay. I liked it. Proof that I really exhausted you. Sorry not sorry.”

He even winked at me.

“You’re really that into me. I had no idea that what I thought were your simple actions back then had a different meaning. Just a question, if you knew I was only fifteen then, would you still approach me? ”

He laid on his back and put his hands above his head. I moved and lay on top of him. His hands immediately went to my back and caressed it.

“Maybe not. I’m a playboy but I’m not into minors.”

“So you won’t ever talk to me then?”

She shrugged.

“Well I don’t know.”

I rolled my eyes at him.

“Cradle snatcher.”

I laid my face on his bare chest and ran my hand over it. His muscles tightened with what I did. I smiled mischievously.

“Let’s go back to sleep,” I said as I continued to caress his skin.

“You go first. I’ll look at you. Maybe if I sleep, you’ll disappear in my sight.”

I kissed his chest.

“You won’t lose you again unless the time comes when you don’t want me anymore.”

“Uh no. That will never happen. We’ll work this out every second, every hour of every day.”

I pouted.

“Now that I am set in this most comfortable position, I can get to say this. Now that I think about it, we haven’t even gone through the normal courtship. Hell, you didn’t even court me.”

The edge of his mouth rose.

“Nah, sweetie. I don’t believe in courtships. I’ll court you forever once I have you and now that you’re here in my arms again, the courting starts again until forever. You deserve more than the flowers, chocolates and teddy bears in the world. You deserve my time and attention. If you want, we will build flower shops or let me buy a flower farm for you. You like that? ”

It was comforting to just watch him like this.

“No, I liked it more when we’re like this, talking about things. I’m learning a lot from you.”

I yawned then kissed his chin.

“I’m going back to sleep. Go to sleep too. It’s only past three am.”

He pats my back.

“Have I told you already how thankful I am to have you here, Mav?” I said in between falling asleep and staying awake.

“Countless times already for tonight.”

“Have I told you that I easily get jealous and I’m possessive and territorial?”

“So am I sweetie. We’re good at that.”

I slapped his hand when he grabbed my ass.

“I’ll add something more. Contrary to what you’re saying, I’m not really that kind. I’m irritated most of the time, insensitive at times, proud, sharp-talker, I hate losing an argument and I can think of a thousand ways to kill a man if I caught him cheating. In short, I’m not your stereotypical type of woman. Can you live with that? ”

He just laughed.

“Feisty. All the more I love you for being you, Fem. Can you also live with mine?”

“We will adjust and strive to be better individuals, that’s for sure.”

“Good answer.” He kissed my head. “Sleep now. Stop talking already.”

I smiled.

“I really love your scent,” I murmured.

“Just my scent?”

I tapped his rock solid frame.

“And your body. I love it.”

“Just my body?”

“Don’t push it, Mav.”

“If only I could get through.”

“I love you,” I whispered.

“I’m sorry. What’s that?”

“Sleep now.”This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Chuckling, he kissed my head again. “I love you more.”

I smiled as I fell asleep while he’s hugging me.

I woke up to the heat of the sunshine. I haven’t moved yet move. It felt so good to be trapped in Maverick’s warm arms. When another minute passed, I opened my eyes and found him lovingly staring at me.

He smiled at me while tucking my hair behind my ears.

“Good morning.”

I returned the smile and squeezed myself to his side. “Morning. What time is it?”

“It’s almost 12 in the afternoon now, sweetie.”

My eyes widened and I suddenly got up. I looked out the open window. The sun is already high. My stomach growled. We both smiled before we laughed.

“I cooked breakfast already. I was just really waiting for you to wake up.”

“Why didn’t you wake me up?”

I got out of bed and grabbed a towel.

“I’ll take a shower. Wanna come with me?”

“You want to get tired again? If yes, I’ll come with you.”

He was about to get off the bed but I immediately stopped him.

“Just a bath, Maverick. You want the extended version right away. Stay there.”

I quickly opened the bathroom door and immediately closed it. I even heard his laugh behind me.

When I came out of the room I saw Maverick serving food at the table. He sensed my presence so he looked up at me and winked at me.

I thought of something enjoyable to do.

“Mav, you want to go have a picnic at the river?”

“Sure,” he agreed immediately.

I took the picnic basket from the cupboard and handed it to him. I plugged in the electric kettle to heat the water. While Maverick was busy putting food in the basket, I was busy making our coffee.

“Thank you.” He smiled at me while drinking his coffee. “Ah! Your coffee really tastes amazing.”

“Well! That’s years in the making!”

We walked out of the house. On each hand is our cup of coffee while Maverick carries the basket while I am the mat. When we laid the mat and the basket on the side of the river, we silently ate our brunch.

“Sleepy again?” Maverick asked me when we were lying on the mat, my head on his arms. We had just finished eating when I said I was drowsy again. Kinda bad but I can’t help myself. It invites me home but I prefer the air here.

“Yeah,” I answered with my eyes closed. “I don’t know why I’ve been so emotional and sleepy these past few days. It’s also easy for me to cry and get hurt.” I sniffed his armpit. “And I’ve been craving for your smell.”

I put my head inside his t-shirt and sniffed his smell again.

He peered at me inside while smiling widely.

“We’ll go to the doctor first thing in the morning.”

“Are we leaving here right away? Can’t we stay for another day or two?”

“W-will you really come with me?” he asked, startled.

I sat on the mat and looked at him.

“What do you mean by that? Of course I will come with you? Why will you leave me here?”

He also got up and comforted me.

“Of course not. I just thought you might not want to leave Sta. Barbara. I’m sure you like it here so I’m not taking it away from you. What I have in mind is this. I can work in the city for the day and then stay here for the night and the weekends. ”

“But I like you more than this place. And it’ll be a hassle to travel from the city and back here. I have to be by your side to shoot the likes of Monica and that fake blonde I saw you talking with.”

I couldn’t help but sharpen my eyes as I thought of the two women.

Maverick laughed. “I favor your decision, sweetheart.” He pulled me back into his embrace. “Go to sleep now before you think of another vile thing to throw at me.”

“Hmmm.”

I savored the delicious touch of the air on my skin and the fact that I was in the arms of the man I loved so dearly.

“This place is like a paradise,” he commented.

“I agree. But do you know I have another place I know like this? I’ll take you there someday.”

I felt a mixture of sadness and nostalgia when I thought about the place.

“Where is that, babe?”

I squeezed myself into his neck. The beautiful scenery of my birthplace flashed through my mind.

“Monte Vega.”
