“Ehem.” I don’t know which of them took our attention. I turned around and saw that Maggie was already there so I smiled.

“Hi,” she greeted Hailey who was reciprocated by my wife’s hello.

“So, what’s up, Phoenix, is there a wedding again?” Dane asked and Maggie laughed at them.

“Condolences’ bro,” I said while looking at Blaze.

“What do you mean?”

“My wife is 7 weeks pregnant?”

“What?” Unbelievably he asked then looked at Dane and Maggie who gave each other high five. “I thought —”

“Yes, but a long explanation. But, I guess Dane and Maggie expected this already. ‘Isn’t it?”

“Exactly, don’t worry Blaze, I’ve already arranged our wedding. You don’t have any problems because everything is set. Just buy the wedding ring so at least you have a little something to use.”

“Shit,” he hissed.

“Be careful of the challenge, my soon-to-be husband.” But Blaze ignored Maggie and stared at Dane.

“So, you already know this Dane?” He asked annoyed.

“Obviously.” Then she looked at us. “Anyway, congrats guys. We’re so happy for you,” Dane said and approached Hailey. “I am happy for you.”

“Thanks.”

“Take care of them, fucker, if I don’t you can fight me first.”

“I will Dane.” Then I looked at Hailey, “I will take care of them.”

“You should, fucker.”

“Congrats both!” they said at once. Everyone is smiling. Everyone is tempting. But it wasn’t Blaze who looked bad at Dane and Maggie.

I was the same with Hailey before. But who would have thought that I would love her? Not only will I be loved but I can lose everything, not just her. Less than a year apart, someone next to me is getting married.

Blaze x Maggie. What will gonna happen to these two and what trials they will go through before the fool will realize that he loves Maggie as I do to Hailey.

Well, that’s his problem. We will always be with him as brothers. What use of a brother’s code if we don’t support each other? We are also happy that we have a woman with us because Dane is no longer alone.

I look at my wife who is busy talking to the two. She smiled and laughed. I was stupid then and I noticed what they said is right. I always contradicted them that I would have proven them wrong when about my wife. I promised to torture her and never fall for her. But look at me now. I ate everything I said because I loved my wife. Not just dear but dearly loved and I can no longer afford to lose her.

I will do everything for her. For them. I will love them for the rest of my life.
