She felt her clit reacted and her nipples hardened when her mind went overtime. But again, she

scolded herself. She is letting her physical attraction for him take over her clear mind.

"W-What exactly do you mean?" she asked.

"What do you think honey?"

His expression changed suddenly so it's difficult to know what he is thinking now. He became poker-

faced. His eyes became guarded too. She doesn't know if he is deliberately teasing or confusing her.

She really should stop being gullible in moments like this with him.

"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that? You are not my boyfriend sir so never call me honey!" she

snapped before unbuckling her seat belt.

Nick's face lightened when he saw that she is annoyed. He grinned and with his index finger, he rubbed

his chin which is covered by his sexy stubble . His eyes went to her breasts and they became darker

again. She had the sudden desire to cross her arms to hide them. She is worried that he can sense

that her nipples hardened under her bra and top. He really affects her sexually.

Finally, he raised his stare to her lovely face for a second or two before turning off the engine.

"Time to go up to my unit honey. I realized just now that we should probably talk first because I want to

discuss many things with you. Other things could wait. We have plenty of time for them.. " he said.

him to open the door for her, she got out too. He has a naughty smile on his lips as he went around to

She almost jutted her chin. "I can walk . Just lead the way." she told him while avoiding his eyes.

She didn't want him to touch any part of her body because she can't trust herself not to react. He

nipples had become sensitive mainly because of him. With a stiff back, he headed to the elevator and

she couldn't help shaking her head.

He is in a foul mood again. Thanks to me and good luck to me too. She told herself.

She has to do her best not to have any physical contact with him. Her body always betrays her even

When the elevator opened, Nick turned his head to her and nodded . He wants her to get in before him.

herself do it until Friday. She promised herself that once she becomes Derick's girlfriend, it will be

"Okay honey. I will wait but I hope it's okay if I do something when I witness anything I don't like. "

" You will do what?"

"Something that a man would naturally do if he feels that someone is fucking with him. "

"Like what?"

"Beat up good for nothing assholes."

She pouted. Nick could probably defend himself and if he couldn't, well.. serves him right! But then, she

became worried about Derick when she remembered what Cherry said. She said that their boss has a

black belt.

"We're here." he said.

Nick's jaw muscles' clenched. Stacey is with him but it seems that her mind is preoccupied with

something or someone. He almost cursed. He told himself that once he discovered that she is thinking

of some asshole, he will punish her. Feeling angry, he grabbed her arm.

She was surprised when took hold of her arm and dragged her to his suit. She chose not to complain

because she knows it'll be useless.

The inside of his unit is very simple just like his office but it feels cozy. He opened the blinds with a

remote control .

"Do you want anything?" he asked.

She didn't reply, instead she walked to the window. It's almost dusk and the sunset from his window is

breathtaking. The streets lights and the lights from the vehicles and buildings below look wonderful too.

It's seems so relaxing just watching all these with a cup of coffee after a long day .

Without turning to look to him, she just said, " No. I'm okay."

"Do you like the view?" he asked. He is now standing beside her looking out the window too.

She threw him a glance and discovered that his eyes are on her. She felt heat come up her face so she

broke the stare. He always looks at her intensely. She turned her eyes back to the window.

"You said we will talk. What about?"

He had no immediate reaction so she turned again to look at him. Her left brow rose because he is

unbuttoning his white long-sleeve shirt.

"And what if I may I ask, are you doing,sir?" she asked with a steely tone.

"I had a rough day and I want to relax. I can't do that unless I take a quick shower but I will do that later.

I just want to get out of this." he said as he took his top off.

She looked away but before she did, she was able to see how magnificent his upper body is.

GOSH! This man really has it all physically and I thought nobody's perfect?--she asked herself.

Nick tossed his shirt onto the sofa. He flexed his tired muscles. He had been really stressed with

Stacey more than an hour ago.

"Do you want to talk here?Or do you want to sit down?" he asked her.

"Let's do it here. The view is relaxing." she answered him with her eyes outside the glass window.

"Why didn't you go back to the office this morning?" she heard him asked.

She sighed. She is torn between telling him the truth about her encounter with Tanya or not. So instead

of answering his question, she asked, " Why me?"

Nick turned her to him by his hand on her arm. Now they are face to face.

"What do you mean why you?" he asked with furrowed brows.

She removed his hand from her arm to walk to the middle of the room. She wants a distance between

them. But the moment she got to the center of the living room she turned again which is a big mistake.

She can see his bare torso. He has broad shoulders and chest, yummy biceps and he has a six pack.

His jeans mold his hips and legs perfectly. She wants to tear her eyes from him but she seems to have

been mesmerized. She swallowed then blinked twice to break the spell. She pouted when she noticed

his naughty smile. She narrowed her eyes. Obviously he knows that she is drooling.

Get your act together Stacey! You are here to talk to him not to drool over him! She angrily told herself.

She cleared her throat and released a sigh. She crossed her arms on her chest and made sure that her

eyes are on his darker ones. She doesn't want them to go lower again.

" There are oceans of beautiful women out there. You can take your pick. I have a boyfriend already

and I can't cheat or leave him for just a one -night stand with you."

Nick's face broke into a frown. "One-night stand? Where the hell did you get that idea?" he asked,

sounding irritated. He advanced to the room.

She stepped back but she is not fast enough. He is now standing inches away from her. He is not

touching her but she is already physically affected again.

"Please just stay away from me Mr.Alcantara. How would you feel if you were in my boyfriend's shoes?

Another man wants your woman."

She got goosebumps when his face turned grim. He grabbed her left arm to pull her to him.

"I will make sure that bastard will regret the day he laid eyes on you." he said through gritted teeth.

She tried to free her arm from his hold but he tightened his grip. She stopped herself from wincing.

"Then why are you doing this? My boyfriend will be furious too once he knew about this! So please Mr.

Alcantara, just leave me alone!" she again tried to get her arm back but he is too strong.

"Speaking of your boyfriend, who is he? Blake?!" he rasped.

Nick is still pissed even if he knows that the boyfriend Stacey is referring to is Derick. He can't stopped

having doubts because there are other men who are interested in her. Those assholes anger him.

"Is it Blake?!" he asked again through gritted teeth.

"No."

"Then who? Of course he has a name, not unless you are just lying."

She narrowed her eyes and jutted out her chin. "His name is Derick." she finally said.

Nick almost sighed in relief. He would definitely have blown a gasket again if she said another man's

name.

"Let go!" she protested when he pulled her to his body closer by his hand on her waist. Her hands are

between them.

"I will deal with your boyfriend. Maybe we'll have a man- to -man talk." he drawled and that made her

want to slap his face. He seems to be on the verge of grinning.

She tried to push him from her. He is really impossible. It seems that he is not taking all these seriously.

This is just a game for him. A challenging game where she is the trophy.

"Why are you so persistent? I said let me go!" she angrily said.

He just chuckled and he got his face closer to hers.

"I am not scared of your boyfriend. You are worth fighting for honey." he said huskily.

"Are you going to stop pursuing me or not?" she asked.

He grinned then to her surprise, he gave her a peck on the lips.

"No honey.. I am not going to stop.." he drawled while he looks at her eyes then down to her lips. She

can see the hunger in his eyes.

She also felt something hard above her tummy. She moistened her lips. She knows that he is having a

boner.

"You won't be my first." She said out of the blue.

She saw something in his eyes but it disappeared after a second.

"It doesn't matter to me. Just be mine honey. You won't regret it. " he said, his eyes molten.

She felt her breathing became shallow. Him being this close to her, his words and the way he looks at

her are all making her feel frisky.

She is finally giving up. He will not stop until he gets what he wants with her. He would do everything to

bed her once. Before she becomes Derick's woman, she will let Nick have her. Technically, she won't

be cheating Derick. Besides, Tanya said, once is enough for him.

She would just enjoy it and she is hoping that after one fuck, her attraction for him will wane so she can

give her whole self to Derick. She's sure that Nick Alcantara is not a boyfriend material however sexy

he is. Too many women want to be with him and not even for one second should she expect that he is

Nick's breathing hitched and she released a sigh.
