His Luna

Different

“What happened? Is she alright? Why does she look so pale?”

“We don’t know, Sinitra; we just found her unconscious in the middle of the woods,”

I heard some familiar faint voices nearby; what was happening? Where am I? Why do I feel like I’m lying in the clouds? The last thing that I remember is that I was almost out of breath, then everything went black.

“She must have been exhausted from the days she stayed here; she wasn’t able to rest due to lots of requests and lessons,”

I slowly opened my eyes, and a familiar ceiling welcomed me; I felt a little dizzy, and my chest still ached, but unlike before I passed out, I tried to breathe again; it was more okay.

“She’s awake!” excitement filled the room; I could see something glowing. My forehead creased. What was that? What was that shining thing covering their body? They have different colors.

Some have green, some have white, yellow, red, and black?

Is that,

Is that their life energy?

How the…

How the heck am I able to see their life energy?

“How do you feel, Vera?” Sinitra held my shoulder, “Vera?”

“W-what happen?” I asked, still looking at them; some of them were too bright, primarily children and some parents; however, some of them were too dark that it gave me goosebumps, “Why, why are you all here?”

“The children found you two days ago, unconscious, in the middle of the woods; what happens to you? Why are you there? The guards were checking, and you are there; where have you been that you end up in the middle of a dangerous place with this?” Sinitra worriedly asked and handed me a key, “What’s this key for?”Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

My forehead creased; a key? I can’t remember that I had something in my hand before I passed out; I carefully got it from her hand, “Uh, I was reminiscing before I lost consciousness,” I said; I don’t even know why I lied about the key, I looked at it as if memorizing its part.

I’ve never seen such a beautiful key; it’s filled with different colors and stones; in the middle, it was coincidentally my birthstone. Emerald.

“You have been sleeping for two days,” my eyes widened when I heard that. I don’t know if I’m just hearing things or what I heard is what she really said.

“W-what?! two days?” some villagers left when they ensured I was awake; they must have been worrying about seeing me, sleeping for two days. I roamed my eyes and noticed that there were some herbal plants on the coconut cup; I rubbed my forehead and felt a rough-like texture; it must be one of them.

“Vera,” one of the elders called me, so I looked up, “Your eyes, I think your eye color had changed,” she softly said as she caressed my hair. Her eyes looks something different.

“Sorry?” I answered, “My eyes?” instead of answering, she gave me a compact mirror that was made of bamboo, I immediately grabbed it and looked at it, and my eyes widened upon seeing that my eyes actually changed!

My eyes have initially been brown, and now, it’s blue!

“Vera, calm down. We still don’t know the possible reason for the change, drink this first,” Sinitra said, as she handed me a cup of tea, it smells chamomile, but a distinct smell like a rotten flower filled my nostril, I looked at the tea-it looks delicious but the smell isn’t, Sinitra must have seen my expression, I heard a chuckle.

“Don’t worry, it’s an herbal tea, it does not smell so nice but it is really effective, that will soothe your body ache, and replenish your energy, lying in the same position for two days is no joke,” she softly said and handed me the key again, I can’t remember why and where did I get this.

She’s right, I can feel my body-stiff, aching, and heavy. I drank it without saying anything more, it taste like shit, but Sinitra is true to her words, and after a while, my stiffness and body ache magically disappear, but after that, I felt the explainable thirst and hunger, which was filled with foods the village could offer.

But something is wrong, it’s not filling me up.

What the fuck is happening right now?
