I suddenly remembered my mother's love for plants. They were like her children. Whenever we visited her friends, she would bring home flowers and immediately plant them. I think her plants were her way of finding solace in life. She treated them like pets, and her pets like children. I smiled at the thought. "That's a wonderful idea, Lyka! Let's fix the garden tomorrow then!" Madam exclaimed. We made our way back into the mansion, feeling the coolness of the night. I headed straight to the maid's quarters, where I found Joday and Doday busy applying makeup. Actually, they seemed to have a lot of makeup in their hands.
