I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 520 Fortune Sword Technique

Chapter 520 Fortune Sword Technique

Black ghosts were everywhere.

Rhiannon immediately cast Ice Frost in an attempt to freeze them. But in the next second, she plunged into despair, for it did not work at all. Like concentrated corrosive liquid, the black ghosts dissolved the ice right away.

If they were used to break ice, it would really yield impressive results.

She could only imagine how tragic Jonathan and her fate would be once they were attacked by the black ghost. At that moment, they had their backs against each other. Deep down, despair swamped her. In the face of such creatures, she was at a complete loss.

Jonathan's expression was grave. Suddenly, he drew Luminous Sword back into his hand.

In an instant, all light swords vanished.

The black ghosts swarmed in at once, blotting out the sun as they frantically bit and gnawed their way through.

In Roland's eyes, all he could see was a wave of black ghosts. Jonathan and Rhiannon were no longer in sight.

His expression remained utterly indifferent. Killing Jonathan was as insignificant to him as crushing an ant, so it could not ruffle him the slightest bit.

Meanwhile, Jonathan unleashed Barsm Luminaire through Luminous Sword.

In the blink of an eye, the vast spirit of Barsm burst forth from Luminous Sword. That surge of Barsm was overwhelming and infinitely grand.

Barsm light illuminated the black ghosts, freezing them all in place. Not a single one dared to move forward even an inch.

Jonathan was taking a risk in doing so. He believed that the creatures such as the black ghosts were an entity of extreme darkness. On the other hand, Barsm light within Luminous Sword was the brightest and most peaceful aura.

He summoned the vast Barsm of the Luminous Sword and merged his chaotic energy with it. On top of that, he infused the elemental energy around him into the Barsm light.

Consequently, the Barsm light became even more intense.

Relying solely on the Barsm light within Luminous Sword itself would be far from sufficient.

Therefore, Barsm Luminaire also required the caster to have exceptional cultivation.

As Jonathan merged with the light of Barsm, he likewise felt its tranquility that had the power to bring peace to the soul.

It felt as if though he was in a grand shrine, listening to thousands of monks chanting scriptures in unison.

At that moment, Barsm light blocked the black ghosts completely. Jonathan continued to circulate his

mana, making the Barsm light even more intense.

Gradually, the black ghosts began to melt away and dissipate like smoke in the wind.

When Roland, clad in Flaming Divine Armor, saw that, a hint of anger showed on his indifferent face. Subsequently, he again summoned a black Bone Dragon from Netherworld Map.

Following a thunderous boom, a roar spilt the air.

On the heels of that, a colossal black Bone Dragon emerged. It was truly massive, its entire body covered in snow-white bone spikes. That was pure necromancy at work.

The Bone Dragon was as large as a locomotive, spanning more than thirty meters in length.

It roared as it emerged and flew toward Jonathan.

As it soared in the air, its tail swished wildly. Dust was inevitably sent flying wherever it swept past.

Additionally, it stirred up a strong gust of wind that was unmatched in its ferocity.

Roar!

The Bone Dragon circled the air above Jonathan and Rhiannon, intimidated by Barsm light. However, it was very violent. After roaring thrice, it twisted its body and ruthlessly swept its massive tail at them.

It was a move that would bring total annihilation.

After all, the bones of a Bone Dragon were beyond solid.

The might of the sweep contained no energy of magic elements. Yet, its physical force had already reached a terrifying thirty thousand pounds.

It was beyond human imagination.

Jonathan devoted the entirety of his strength to circulating Barsm Luminaire. While it could disrupt elemental energy, it was utterly helpless against physical force.

Therefore, many things in this world were interconnected and interdependent, each having its own counterbalance.

Just then, Rhiannon instantly cast Ice Frost, conjuring an exceedingly strong Ice Shield in mid-air.

Crack!

A single hit shattered the Ice Shield into smithereens. At the same time, the massive tail showed no mercy, sweeping toward Jonathan and Rhiannon from all directions.

Bursts of strong wind swirled everywhere.

Jonathan's eyes turned cold. D*mn it! Roland had only used two simple moves. Yet, I'm powerless to resist despite wielding Luminous Sword?

That made him feel incredibly frustrated and angry.

In the midst of danger, Jonathan suddenly whipped out the sword he previously took from his storage ring!

He had communicated with it through chaotic energy and knew that although it was not a top-tier magical weapon, it was a pretty good mid-tier one. It was known as Thunder Sword.

"To hell with you!" He went all out.

Wielding Thunder Sword, he promptly used Fortune Sword Technique.

At that moment, it could be said that Jonathan had already displayed his formidable mana and control. Astoundingly, he could unleash two incredibly powerful skills simultaneously, Barsm Luminaire and Fortune Sword Technique.

Strictly speaking, both the Fortune Sword Technique and Barsm Luminaire were extremely difficult. Anyone who could even master one of them would be considered a genius. The fact that Jonathan was able to unleash the two of them at the same time left even Roland in shock and astonishment.

The moment Thunder Sword cut through the air, light swords instantly filled the sky. Thousands of them spiraled out chaotically, carrying a god-defying murderous intent as they slashed toward the Bone Dragon's colossal tail.

Crackle!

The light swords sparkled, dazzling beyond words.

Ultimately, even that solid tail could not withstand the onslaught of such wild and brilliant sword light.

Moreover, Thunder Sword was no ordinary weapon despite the sturdiness and toughness of the dragon's bones.

In just a split second, the Bone Dragon's tail had already been slashed into pieces. The shattered bones swept toward Rhiannon and Jonathan. Rhiannon cast Ice Frost and effectively blocked them.

And in that same instant, Thunder Sword was completely ruined.

The dragon's bone was too hard. Coupled with the immense energy required by Fortune Sword Technique, Thunder Sword's blade simply could not withstand it.

Meanwhile, Jonathan's Barsm Luminaire eradicated all the black ghosts.

Jonathan and Rhiannon finally had a moment of peace. Rhiannon let out a long exhale. She could not help but admire Jonathan's calmness in the face of change and his astonishing intellect and tactics.

The situation just now was truly perilous. In such circumstances, she was completely helpless.

Jonathan took a deep breath. With a flick of his hand, he drew Luminous Sword back. Then, he faced Roland officially. Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

A glint of admiration flashed across Roland's eyes as he also turned to Jonathan. He smiled faintly and said, "Not bad. You indeed surprised me. No wonder even Theos Lynn couldn't do anything to you."

In a solemn voice, Jonathan asked, "You've schemed and plotted your resurrection and are now

occupying the entire Pollerton Tomb. What exactly are you trying to do?"

Roland replied, "No matter what I plan to do, you won't be able to see it. Because no matter the number of tricks and tactics you have, you must die here today. Your body will sink to the depths of the sea forever, and no one will know what happened before your death."

Jonathan remarked, "At the very least, I've been kind to you. Yet, you seem intent on killing me. How strange."

Roland retorted, "The rules of space, the change of the stars, and Destino Art that had existed for thousands of years aren't all as vast as the sea, no? Under these things, you're as insignificant as dust. Furthermore, those little bits of kindness aren't even worth mentioning! Initially, I had no intention of killing you. But you two insisted on taking Astro Scepter, so you're simply asking for it. Some calamities can be avoided, but one always reaps what is sowed."

"Why can't the Astro Scepter be moved?" Jonathan asked.

Roland cast another glance at Jonathan. Then, he chuckled and drawled, "Are you trying to buy time? Do you think a miracle is going to happen?"

"You're a ruler. Why are you so timid and suspicious? You know full well that a miracle is impossible here. So, what are you worried about? I merely want to know why I have to die," Jonathan said calmly.

Roland scoffed, "I know you well enough. You're crafty, so I must always be on guard!" Pausing briefly, he continued, "However, you're right about one thing. What do I have to fear? I shall see what you can do to escape before me."

"So, can you now tell me why can't Astro Scepter be moved? If you really care about it, why didn't you just take it and leave?" Jonathan pressed.

Roland answered, "Firstly, I need Astro Scepter to accomplish a magic formation! Secondly, it still contains the spiritual imprint left by that old coot, Stanley Doyle. The hatred between us ran deep, and he took many precautions against me. I'd never be able to seize Astro Scepter in a short time. Thirdly, the reason I need it for a magic formation is to use Crushing Thunder Strike to devour all the divine spirits and mystic weapons here. With that, I can recover my power fully and even become stronger than before."

Jonathan and Rhiannon suddenly had a moment of realization.

"It turns out that your cultivation hasn't recovered yet!" Jonathan exclaimed.

Roland sneered, "Hmph! If I were at full strength, I could finish you off with just the flick of a finger. I wouldn't have needed to go to such trouble!"

"All right, I have one final question that piques my curiosity," Jonathan said

Roland relented, "Very well, I shall satisfy your curiosity before you die. What's your question?"

"Who was the middle-aged man you were previously wary and afraid of?" Jonathan asked.

Roland's expression swiftly turned rather grim. Then, he said, "He was the Dark Sovereign, Stanley Doyle. But he has long since died. Mere energy manifested by dark magic could never threaten me!"

Jonathan finally understood everything. After that, he fell silent.

"It seems that you have no questions left," Roland surmised. "Would you prefer that I personally kill you, or would you rather end things yourself?"

With a sudden laugh, Jonathan replied, "Neither choice is to my liking. Besides, I'm going to take Astro Scepter away today!"

Roland could not help but burst into laughter, exclaiming, "What an arrogant and ignorant lad!"

"If you continue hiding away, Lynn, you'd be short of a couple of aides." Jonathan suddenly shouted right then.

No sooner had his words fallen than a streak of light flew in from outside.

The streak of flowing light transformed back into its original form in front of Jonathan. It was none other than Mona.

Mona was Lynn's primordial spirit.

Roland was startled slightly. Subsequently, realization dawned upon him. A hint of anger flashed across his eyes, and he snarled, "So, you've been stalling just to wait for this woman to arrive?"

Meanwhile, Rhiannon could not help but look at Jonathan in surprise. All of it was just too overwhelming for her to digest.
