Chapter 109 I Won't Let You Go! (Part Two)

She opened the door, and got inside.

Jackson didn't utter a word, and neither did Cherry. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Soon after, Jackson started the engine, and drove the car away.

Bobby drove in another car, and closely followed them from behind.

Cherry had no idea where Jackson was taking her, and instead just looked outside the window and

tried to enjoy the night view. All of a sudden, she saw the familiar road, and she couldn't help but look

at Jackson, who was still silent, with surprise.

Cherry couldn't have been more familiar with that road, because it was the road to her home, her and

Jackson's home, the home with which she had too many memories stored in her brain.

Jackson then pulled over the car at the apartment building. He then got out of the car, opened the

passenger's seat, pulled Cherry out of the car and dragged her to the apartment.

The other two also got out of their car. Bobby talked something with the man in black, and then Bobby

followed Jackson into the apartment building. The man in black left.

Jackson took out the key, opened the door, and pushed Cherry inside.

Cherry felt distressed when she saw the familiar room again. It looked the same as it had been five

years ago, and it seemed that nothing had changed at all. All kinds of memories came flooding in her

head.

Jackson noticed Cherry's expression and walked closer to her. He said, "So? Do you remember

anything?"

Cherry soon came back to reality, and whens she saw that Jackson was coming closer to her, she

couldn't help but step back.

It was not until she took a few steps back towards the wooden cabinet that she stopped. Jackson also

stopped, and looked into Cherry's eyes fiercely.

"What on earth do you want from me?" asked Cherry.

"What do I want?" retorted Jackson, "I just want to see if you still remember the place?"

When her eyes met with Jackson's, Cherry felt a little scared, but also cordial. They were exactly in the

room where he used to spoil her all the time, but it was also the same room in which he had left her for

another woman.

After some time, Cherry turned her head aside, and avoided Jackson's eyes. She then said, "Of course

I remember. How could I ever forget it?"

When he saw her indifferent face, and when he heard her indifferent tone, Jackson felt so furious and

irritated that he shouted, "Tell me, now, why did you leave me?"

Cherry lowered her head, and she didn't intend to answer him.

She took a deep breath, and as she raised her head again, she looked into Jackson's eyes, and said,

"Since I've already left you, there's no reason to tell you my motive. I just left, and that's the whole truth.

I don't want to explain it to you."

When he heard her, Jackson stepped closer to Cherry, and said, "How dare you, Cherry?"

He grabbed Cherry's arm to take her to the living room. Feeling Jackson's force and bullying, Cherry

immediately resisted him, and she shouted, "Jackson, what are you going to do? Let go of me!"

Cherry used all of her strength to get rid of Jackson's grip, and walked towards the kitchen stunned.

Jackson followed her, and couldn't believe that the woman had the nerve to walk away from him.

She was dumbstruck, and she had no idea what to do when she saw Jackson walking towards her

again. Suddenly, she saw a fruit knife beside her on a table, and immediately picked it up and pointed it

at her neck.

When he saw what Cherry did, Jackson also got frightened, and he hastily stopped his pacing.

"Don't come any closer, " said Cherry, panicked.

Jackson stopped for a moment, and then slowly continued to get closer and closer to her.

When she saw that Jackson was approaching her, Cherry had no choice but step back, but was soon

cornered.

She saw the loathing burning like fiery coals in Jackson's eyes, and she knew that he hated every fiber

of her being. She had never stopped loving him in the past five years, but now she thought that she

would rather die than to continue to be tormented by him like this. She was scared, and she didn't know

what he would do to her next.

Cherry intended to bring the knife closer to her neck, but she didn't expect that Jackson would grip the

knife with his bare hand.

In an instant, Jackson's hand was bleeding, and the knife's blade was stained red with blood.

Cherry was so frightened that she closed her eyes, and didn't dare to witness the horrible scene.

"Mr. Jackson, " Called Bobby, who was standing behind Jackson. He was nervous, and didn't know

what to do.

Jackson didn't utter a word, and instead looked into Cherry's eyes. Cherry was stunned by his gaze,

and gradually loosened her grip the knife.

After a long time, Jackson eventually lowered his hand, and the knife fell onto the ground. His hand

was still bleeding.

Cherry was worried about him, because his hand was wounded and bleeding.

"Are...are you okay?" said Cherry. She wanted to pull Jackson's hand to check on his wound.

But Jackson stopped her.

When he saw what happened, Bobby, who was standing not that far away from them, didn't dare to say

a word. After all, it was their business, and he was just another one of Jackson's subordinates. He only

had to follow Jackson's orders, and had no right to get involved in his personal affairs.

Cherry was a bit embarrassed, and suddenly became obstinate.

She looked at Bobby, and ordered, "You, come over and take him to the living room. I'll go get the first

aid kit."

After she said that, Cherry passed by Jackson, and he let her pass.
