Chapter 120 Your Son Got Into A Fight

When Jackson came back to the military residential compound, he found his grandpa still awake and

watching TV in the living room.

When Andrew saw that his grandson had returned, he hastily said, "Jackson, you're home!"

"Yes, grandpa, " answered Jackson, while coming forward to greet him.

Andrew let his grandson sit beside him on the sofa, and with concern in his voice asked, "How was the

party tonight?"

"Boring, just like other parties, " said Jackson, indifferent.

"Alright, " nodded Andrew. Jackson seemed to be upset, and Andrew wondered what had really

happened.

He added, "Was everything okay at the party?"

Jackson nodded, and answered, "Yes, everything was alright."

"Then why do you seem upset?" asked Andrew directly, unwilling to conceal any of his concern. He

hoped that his beloved grandson would talk with him, and he was willing to help Jackson out of any

trouble to snap him out of his sadness.

Jackson thought for a few moments, and decided not to mention Cherry in front of his grandpa. He

chose to drop the topic, and said, "It's about the Future Project. Almost everybody at the party was

talking about it tonight, and things seems to be getting more intense by each passing day."

Andrew nodded, and thought that Jackson was right. Currently, the Future Project was a big news for

the whole city, and it had drawn a lot of attention.

"Can you get it done?" asked Andrew.

Jackson thought seriously before answering him, "I can do it. Selina is now running the JS Company

pretty good, and if Selina helps me, I can win the campaign. Please trust me on it."

Andrew nodded to Jackson in approval, and replied, "Of course I trust you, but I'm afraid that

something unexpected may happen."

Speaking of the unexpected, Jackson suddenly thought of Wilson. 'He's a real surprise to me. His

appearance did make a difference in the business world, and also affected my agenda in a major way.

As long as the Future Project remains unaffected, I won't do anything to Wilson. I'll take advantage of

the Future Project to defeat him completely, just like what I did to the Shen Group. He must be gone

from this city forever, ' thought Jackson.

He thought seriously and quickly, and then said to his grandpa, "Don't worry, I have everything under

control for now."

Andrew heard what his grandson said. He nodded, and thought that his grandson had finally grown up

and was able to deal with difficult matters all on his own now.

Jackson felt a bit tired, and said to Andrew, "Grandpa, you shouldn't stay up so late. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, " replied Andrew.

Looking at his grandson going upstairs, Andrew felt happy and worried at the same time.

The butler then came forward and stood beside Andrew. As he looked at Jackson's disappearing

figure, he quietly asked, "Master, do you really think that Jackson can win the Future Project?"

Andrew shook his head, and answered, "No, I'm not sure. Although some people know that the Chu

Family is behind the JS Company, and that Jackson is its true master, its nominal CEO is, after all,

Selina, so, it may be difficult to win."

The butler knew what Andrew meant with that, and added, "Well, shall we help Jackson?"

Andrew thought for a few moments and shook his head. "No, be patient. I don't think Jackson will fail

with the Future Project, as long as Bobby's there at his side and helps him."

The butler nodded and spoke no more about the subject.

Then, Andrew suddenly thought of something, and asked, "What has been Sally plotting out these

days?"

The butler looked at Andrew and shook his head. He replied, "We did our research, but we couldn't find

anything useful. She's been living at the house provided by Jackson, but she did nothing alarming yet."

Andrew thought for a while, and said, "She's been here for five years already, and we still don't know

her true motives and goals."

The butler heard him, and answered, "Master, perhaps you're guessing everything all wrong. It's highly

likely that she came back just to be back together with Jackson. Besides, a girl as innocent and weak

as herself doesn't have the abilities to plot anything serious."

Andrew didn't agree with his butler on this one. He shook his head, and continued, "No, you're pretty

naive. She's anything but innocent and weak. All of the people coming from her family are strong and

complicated, and I've known from she was just a child that she's cunning. I can't be wrong."

The butler listened to what his master said and then kept his silence again, and spoke no more.

A couple of moments later, Andrew had to shake his hand helplessly. He said, "Never mind, just forget

it. I'll think more of it when trouble occurs, but for now help me get up to go to bed."

After this, the butler helped Andrew stand up.

He started to go upstairs, but after he took several steps he turned to look at his butler again. "You can

leave and have some sleep for yourself, " said Andrew.

"Goodnight, master, " answered the butler.

In the morning, Cherry went to the company and found that Caroline had already arrived. Cherry

greeted Caroline and sat facing her at her desk.

Soon after that, Selina also arrived at the office.

Selina saw that Cherry looked great today.

"Ms. Selina, good morning, " politely said Caroline.

Cherry also greeted her, "Good morning, Ms. Selina."

Selina nodded to Caroline, and as she came closer to Cherry, she said, "You look great today!"

Cherry gave her a big smile in reply.

Selina continued, "I'm going to the airport to pick up an important client. I think you should come with

me." She then turned to Caroline, and said, "I'll be attending a board meeting this afternoon. Prepare

all the necessary documents for it."

"Okay, " replied Caroline.

After this, Selina went to her own office.

Cherry hurried to arrange the necessary paperwork, and when Selina came out of her office, Cherry

carried her bag and followed her out of the company.

On their way to the airport, both Cherry and Selina sat on the backseat of the car. For some time, they

said nothing to each other, and instead just looked out the window.

Then, Selina suddenly turned to Cherry, and asked, "Cherry, do you..."

But before Selina could finish her sentence, Cherry's mobile phone rang and interrupted her.

Cherry knew that Selina wanted to ask her something, but she had to answer her phone.

Cherry got her phone out of her purse, and apologized to Selina, "Sorry, my phone is ringing."

Selina shook her hand, indicating that Cherry should answer her phone first.

Cherry saw that the caller was Joe's teacher from the school.

Cherry was a little bit worried when she saw his name and answered the phone.

"Hello, " said Cherry.

She heard a harsh female voice coming from the other side of the phone. "Are you Joe Shen's

mother?"

"Yes, I am, " quickly answered Cherry.

"You need to come to the school right away. Your son just got into a fight."

"What?" Cherry exclaimed in surprise. Her voice was so loud, that Selina, who had turned her head

away, trying not to overhear Cherry's private conversation glanced at her, concerning.

Cherry knew that she was in the car with the driver and Selina, and she had to hide her son's existence

from them. She tried to suppress her emotion and pretended that nothing serious had happened. 'What

did the teacher mean by saying my son got into a fight at school?' she wondered.

"You had better come to the school. I couldn't get in touch with Joe's uncle, so that's why I contacted

you, " said the teacher on the phone.

"Alright, I'm coming, " said Cherry in haste.

Cherry hung up the phone anxiously. She looked Selina in the eye and said, "Miss Selina, I have

something pressing and I have to go back home. I can't go to the airport with you anymore."

Selina was confused. 'What's more serious and important than work for Cherry?' she wondered.

"What's up? Can I help you?" asked Selina.

Cherry shook her head. She then added, "Something happened to my brother's kid at school. My

brother can't be reached so the teacher called me instead. I have to go right now there."

After she heard her, Selina knew that it must be Wilson's kid whom Cherry was talking about, because

Cherry had only one brother.

Selina didn't give it another second thought, and said, "Pull over now. You can take a taxi. Or, I can find

a car to take you to school."

Cherry hastily said, "There's no need to do that, I'm fine with taking a taxi."
