Chapter 64 Misery Befalling

Chapter 64 Misery Befalling

Jean then cornered Cherry into the balcony and, all of a sudden, she grabbed her neck with her two

hands, leaving her no time whatsoever to dodge her attack.

She gripped her neck with force, and Cherry felt a terrible pain. She held Jean's hands immediately,

and struggling to speak, said, "Je...Jean, what are you doing? Let me go..."

"You'll soon see what I'm going to do to you, Cherry." Jean's expression was hateful, and hideous. She

had come there to kill Cherry, because as long as she was completely gone from the world, her life

would then be happy and joyful.

"Jean, you...you're mad. Let me go!" said Cherry while trying to resist her.

"Let you go? Cherry, do you really think I'm that stupid? You've been haunting me my whole life. But I

don't understand, how could a bitch like you live more happily than me? How can you get everything I

want without effort? How?" said Jean, as she put more strength into her grip.

"Ahm, ahem" Cherry couldn't help but cough and gurgle because of her sister's grip on her neck. It was

obvious that Cherry was disadvantaged, and that she couldn't possibly fight against Jean.

The door of the flat then suddenly opened, and after she heard it, Cherry saw her savior.

Emily had just returned home, and Cherry spared no efforts to cry out for help. She yelled, "Emily,

save, save me!"

So long as Emily had just entered the flat, what was going on in the balcony caught her sight. She first

saw that Jean was holding Cherry with her hands gripped around her neck, and then noticed that

murderous and hideous expression on her face. Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Emily realized what was happening after she heard Cherry cry out for help. She instantly threw her bag

on the ground, and hastily ran into the balcony.

"Jean, what are you doing?" shouted Emily.

When she saw Emily walking towards them, Jean didn't loosen her grip; instead, she got even more

excited, and put even more strength in her grip around Cherry's neck.

Jean moved her eyes from Emily to Cherry back and forth, and furiously said, "Cherry, I'm going to kill

you today!"

After she said this, Jean then mercilessly grabbed Cherry and tried to push her over the balcony's

railing.

"No, no, don't!" screamed Cherry. Judging from the horrific look in Jean's eyes, Cherry saw that she

wasn't thinking straight anymore, and that her mind had gone completely astray.

When she saw this, Emily quickly pulled Jean's arm, and shouted, "Jean Shen, let go of Cherry, let her

go!"

"Why? I have to kill her, I have to kill her!" All of Jean's hatred had now broken out, and she was in a

complete daze because of it.

The three people then got entangled with each other in the balcony. While Jean tried to push her sister

over the railing, Cherry resisted her with all of her strength, and Emily tried to help her escape her grip.

The three people frantically pushed each other.

Suddenly, Jean swung her arm, and gave Emily a hard push.

Emily lost her balance, and was pushed to the edge of the balcony.

"Ah!" Cherry only heard a brief cry from Emily, and then clearly saw her fall over the balcony's railing.

Enraged and horrified, Cherry pushed Jean away with all her strength. Regardless of Jean, she rushed

to the railing, reached out, and shouted, "Emily, Emily!"

Jean also got frightened after she saw Cherry's?dreadful?look. She saw that Emily disappeared, and

immediately realized that Emily had fallen.

Jean was scared, she withdrew her hands, and took a few steps back.

Cherry threw all of her caution to the wind and leaned over the balcony's railing to look down; what she

saw broke her heart.

Cherry saw Emily on the ground, silent, and without any kind of movement.

"Emily, no, Emily!" Seeing that, Cherry shook her head. She couldn't believe what was happening. She

pondered in wild...How was Emily now? Was she hurt, or dead? She dared not check it out...

Jean was then too frightened to say another word. She leaned against the wall, and her hands were

shaking.

However, Cherry ignored her. She had snapped out of her daze, turned round, and flew downstairs to

Emily's rescue.

At the time, Jackson and Derek also arrived. What they saw scared them. Cherry was desperately

running down the stairs; Emily was lying on the ground, bathed in a pool of blood. Panicked and

horrified, they wondered what had happened here.

Not far behind them, John had also almost arrived at the place, and when he saw the scene in front of

him, he gradually stopped his steps; he had never expected this kind of situation.

In everyone's gaze, Cherry then carefully approached to her best friend. She looked at her closed eyes

and at the blood flowing from her head. Cherry was frightened, and as she covered her mouth with her

hands, tears started to flow out in torrents out of her eyes.

She stopped just a few steps away from her. She quietly stared at Emily, and let her tears tell the

shrieking pain she had in her heart as she saw her lying still on the ground.
