Chapter 765 The Enemies Meet (Part Three)

Violet's proposal made Alice stop moving the pencil in her hand. She teased,"Ooh, it seems that

someone is gonna treat me to dinner!"

"You are right! But you should know, I am not the person paying the bill tonight, Greg is. Haha, so I

don't care," Violet laughed heartily, happiness could easily be felt in her voice.

Alice was also happy for Violet. It seemed that she was in a very good mood today and she didn't want

to disappoint her. So, she readily agreed, saying,"Text me the address and I will go there as soon as I

finish this design. Don't start eating without me! Wait till I arrive, okay?" Alice pretended to warn her.

"We certainly won't! By the way, Tim will also be with us!" said Violet.

"Tim?" Alice was a little surprised and asked,"Isn't he busy?"

As far Alice could remember, Tim had been a person who was always busy with a variety of leisurely

with us tonight! By order of my beautiful wife's so you are expected to be there!"

The moment Greg finished his words, Tim immediately asked,"Will Miss Lu go with you? If she goes,

then I will go!" Tim made no secret of his liking Alice.

"Alice? Does she have anything to do with you?" Greg pretended to be confused.

"Nothing presently, but it doesn't mean that it'll be the same in the future. Don't you think?" Tim?grinned

"Great! I will be there early! Let me say it first, I will pay the bill tonight and don't you dare steal my

thunder, okay? I have to make a good performance and impress Alice, haha!" Tim complacently

declared.

"Naah, I didn't intend to pay the bill. That's why I called you!" Greg joked. "By the way, I want to eat

When he got back home, Greg found that Violet had already dressed up and was waiting for him in the

living room.

"You are back?" Violet hastily walked towards the door to greet him and took the briefcase from him.

"Indeed I am!" smiled Greg, while caressing his wife's cheek.

"I've called Alice and she told me that she would come but she will be a little late," Violet reported Greg.

"Okay. I've sent her the address," Greg replied. "Wait a second. I'll get changed quickly and then we will

set out."

"Okay, I will wait for you!" Violet said in a sweet voice.

Tim arrived at the restaurant earlier than everyone else, feeling a little anxious sitting alone in the

dining area of the posh western restaurant.

When Violet and Greg arrived arm in arm, they noticed that Tim didn't seem to be as natural as he

used to be.

"This brat must be nervous!" Greg could easily read his mind from the expression on Tim's face.

"Why is he nervous?" asked Violet, not knowing what the matter was.

"Haha, he is nervous to see Alice," Greg replied.

Violet couldn't help but burst into laughter after hearing what Greg said.

"Hi, you two! Please sit down. It's my treat today!" Tim was very generous as he greeted Greg and

Violet.

"Thank you!" Violet gave him a big smile.

"Well, when will Miss Lu come?" Tim didn't waste any time asking.

"She is on the way. Perhaps there is traffic jam but she will be here soon!" Violet replied.

"Okay, then let's wait a little longer." Tim looked around and felt very uneasy at the thought of seeing

Alice.
