Chapter 767 Actually Him (Part Two)

The two men took off their coats in a hurry while approaching Tina.

Before Cassie stepped out of the room, she turned and snapped some more photos.

Cassie left the club, got into her car and drove away.

She soon arrived at the hotel. She walked into her room and sat down on the lounge casually. With

legs crossed, she grabbed her phone and dialed a number.

"Cassie. My husband almost got fired from the newspaper, trying to help you. What do you want now?"

Cassie's friend answered with a bit of anger.

"This time it's different. It's going to be a promotion for your husband, this time," a wry smile appeared

at the corners of her mouth as Cassie said,"The target this time is Miss Tina. Roger, the vice president

of GR Group is her brother."

"GR Group? Is she the Miss Tina who has come back from abroad recently?" the woman asked.

Cassie's friend seemed to know a few things about Tina.

"Yes. I'll send you some pictures later. Your husband will know what to do with them after he sees

them," Cassie replied confidently. 'I'll not fail this time. I can easily control Tina.' she thought.

"Well, then send them first," the woman said.

"Okay," Cassie responded as she ended the call. She chose several pictures and sent them to her

friend.

It was a few minutes past midnight. Squatting in a corner of the room, Tina covered her naked body

with her clothes that she picked them up from the floor. Thinking of the sexual marks and bruises on

her body, she couldn't help but sob, trembling with indescribable sadness. She hadn't stopped crying

since the two men left 2 hours ago. 'I can't go home now. Mom and Roger will see these marks, ' she

thought.

It wasn't until 1:00 am that Tina got dressed. She stared ahead blankly, and left the nosy club.

The street was quiet. There was a handful of passers-by walking along the street. Tina wandered

aimlessly as vehicles drove past her. She had no idea where to go or what to do. She almost got

even turn to look at the driver. She kept walking as if nothing had happened, oblivious to anything going

on around her.

At 6:00 am, she was still roaming the streets. It was still dark and she didn't know where her legs had

taken her. Hunger and coldness started to gnaw at her from inside. This time, her only wish was to eat

steaming hot noodles to keep warm.

In the morning, the GR Group became the hottest topic within the whole business circle. Its stocks

fluctuated every second. Roger came to the company at 7:00 am. After reading the morning

newspaper, he opened the computer and checked the stock market. GR Group's stock had fallen

steeply.

Sitting in the executive leather chair, Roger leaned his head back, with his hands on the armrests. He

remained silent with a brooding look. 'The news about Tina left GR Group in a crisis, ' he thought.

With no one disturbing her, it was already 10:00 am when Violet woke up. She grabbed something to

eat as soon as she got ready. After breakfast, she went to the living room to check the fridge. There

wasn't much food inside. It looked like they were running out of daily necessities.

"I'm gonna have to go do some grocery shopping," Violet mumbled as she stood in front of the fridge,

her head still inside it.

Violet applied make-up quickly and put on her some casual clothes. It only took her less than ten

minutes to get herself ready. After dressing up, she had turned from a morning mess into a pleasing

sight.

"Let's go. It's shopping time!" Violet muttered gladly as she took her handbag and left home.

When she arrived at the shopping mall, she found it crowded with people. Before she entered the

supermarket, a piece of news on the LED screen drew her attention.

It read,"The latest results show that the GR Group's stock has been falling since this morning, and the

decline was more serious than anyone could expect. According to news reports, the sharp drop was

caused by the leaked pictures of Tina Gu, the sister of Roger Gu, who is the vice president of GR Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

Violet stood still, focusing her eyes on the GR Group's building on the screen. The building was

surrounded by a mob of reporters and a car had just driven in. The moment the door opened, Carol got

out and all the media personalities swarmed to her with their cameras, microphones and video

cameras. Bombarded with sharp, harsh questions, Carol lowered her head as flash bulbs kept going off

every half second. Carol stepped into the GR Group's building under the security's escort.

The first one Violet thought of was Roger. Even though she turned down his pursuit, she was grateful to

him. Like it or not, he had risked his life saving her. 'Now that GR Group faces such a crisis, he must be

in a lot of stress, ' she thought.

"I need to see Mr. Roger now," Violet said to herself loudly and decidedly. She was worried about him.

At that moment, she forgot about shopping. She was just concerned about Roger and GR Group. After

graduating from university, she had worked for the GR Group and she couldn't bear to see the

company collapse. Besides, Roger had been more than nice to her when she worked there. She never

forgot his kindness.

She hailed a cab and got in.

"I need to go to the GR Group headquarters and step on it, please," Violet ordered as soon as she got

in the car.

The driver, in his fifties didn't respond immediately. He looked in the rear view mirror and caught a

glimpse of Violet. Casually, he asked,"Miss, GR Group is going bankrupt. What's your business there?"

"I must go there. I need to find out something," Violet replied. She was ignorant of details, and didn't

know what exactly was going on. That was why she decided to go and see Roger. Knowing he would

never lie to her, she hoped to get the truth from him. After all, the news nowadays had become plagued

with fake information.

"I suppose you haven't read the news yet, have you? GR Group hit the headlines. It's on all the reports
