Chapter 847 Meet Again (Part Two)

"Well, let's wait and see," Lawrence replied. He looked so distracted and his mind seemed to be in a

mess. When Mike mentioned his Mom, he suddenly thought about her. Indeed, he missed her. Not only

his Mom, he missed his Dad and Violet as well.

In the afternoon, Lawrence arrived at the tea house where he would be meeting Greg.

As he entered the tea house, he looked around. There were no other customers on the first floor. The

only person he saw was the waiter.

"Welcome, Mr. Lawrence," the waiter greeted him. "Mr. Greg is waiting for you on the second floor."

Without saying a word, Lawrence walked straight to the stairs. Greg probably reserved the whole tea

house that was why he didn't see any other customers aside from him.

When he reached the second floor, he saw Greg sitting in one of the tables. He was wearing a light

gray casual outfit.

Greg saw him too and hurriedly got up to greet him, "Lawrence, here you are."

Lawrence sat down across Greg. He then raised his head and looked into Greg's eyes. He asked,

"What are you going to tell me?"

Greg knew pretty well that Lawrence was a very impatient person. So, without saying anything, he took

out a folder and put it in front of him while he said, "I had a dream. However, I still can't make it happen.

I am hoping that you can help me realize this dream."

Lawrence didn't take the folder since he didn't know what was really in it. He looked askance at Greg

and asked, "What's this?"

"This folder contains every detail about Violet's cosmetic surgery. I gathered all the information and

things needed. Also, I've already fixed everything in the US. The doctor who will conduct the surgery is

my best friend. He is only waiting for Violet to go there," Greg explained. "Lawrence, can you take

Violet to the US and stay with her during her operation? You're the only person I can depend on this

time. I know Violet means a lot to you. Can you help me on this?"

When Lawrence heard that it involved Violet, he took the folder. Greg was right, Violet meant a lot to

him. He cared so much about her. Greg was not the only person who loved Violet.

When he opened the folder and skimmed through the contents, Lawrence was somewhat surprised.

Indeed, everything had been fixed in advance. He didn't expect that Greg could finish a plan like this in

such a short period of time.

Greg looked out of the window with a gloomy expression. Then he gently said, "Lawrence, I know you

care about Violet as much as I do. I know we both hope that she can get rid of those scars on her body

the soonest time possible. So, you need to help me materialize my plan."

Lawrence didn't answer Greg. Instead, he threw the folder on the table and asked him, "Why don't you

take her to the US yourself? I can give you the address of our house in Hong Kong. You can personally

go there to see Violet and take her to the US with you."

Greg shook his head and replied in a low voice, "No, that's not possible. She doesn't want to see me."

"You are her husband," reminded Lawrence. He still believed that Greg and Violet loved each other so

much.

Lawrence fell silent after hearing Greg's sad words.

called you. You're the only one who can help me with this. Lawrence, can you help me?" he added.

When he looked at Greg's pleading eyes, Lawrence couldn't say anything else. Actually, he had

Without saying anything to Greg, Lawrence took out his phone and dialed Polly's number. As soon as

flight."

"Yes, sir," Polly replied respectfully. Then she asked, "Mr. Lawrence, how about the return ticket?"

"No need for a return ticket for the time being. Just wait for my further instructions," said Lawrence.

"Okay. I'll deal with it right away," replied Polly.

After he hung up, Lawrence turned his eyes to Greg. He saw that the previous gloomy expression was

now replaced by a happy look on his face. 'Maybe he really cares about Violet as much as I do, ' he

thought.

"Lawrence, thank you," Greg said in a joyful tone.

"You are welcome," Lawrence replied with his usual cold voice. Then he added, "By the way, I need

your help."

Greg was stunned and looked at Lawrence in confusion. He couldn't believe what he just heard. How

could Lawrence need his help?

"What's the matter?" he asked. "There's a patient who was admitted in your hospital this morning. Her

name is Kate Bai," Lawrence started.

"I'm not sure about that. I'll go back to the hospital after this so I can check with the inpatient

department," Greg answered.

He was quite busy taking care of everything in the XS Hospital now so it was impossible for him to

know every detail of the patients coming in and out of the hospital.

"She is my friend's mother. You know what I mean, right?" Lawrence asked. Greg knew well that

Lawrence would never turn to him for help if it was not important. So, he really needed to take care of

this Kate Bai woman.

Moreover, Lawrence was his brother-in-law. Naturally, he would help him as long as he could.

Greg nodded and said, "I know. I'll deal with everything well as soon as I get back to the hospital. She

will receive the best treatment my hospital can offer and I will take care of her personally."

"I hope she can recover soon," Lawrence said with a hint of sadness in his voice. Then he stood up,

took the folder and turned to leave.

While he was driving, Lawrence put on his Bluetooth headset and dialed a number.

"Hello," a soft voice was heard from the other end of the line as soon as the call was connected.

Lawrence's heart immediately melted upon hearing her voice but he did his best to hide it. His

expression didn't change on the surface. "Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm at home. My Mom was already transferred to the XS Hospital so I'm packing some stuff for her,"

Aria replied.

"Come to the JC's Bar at 9 p.m."
