Chapter 876 Waiting For The News (Part Two)

"Wait as well," replied Lawrence. He was also very worried about Aria when he heard that she was in

prison but the only thing he could do for now was to wait. It seemed that this woman had suffered a lot

recently so he decided that he would make up to her when he went back to China. However, it was just

a pity that he couldn't stay with her when she needed him the most.

After a second, Lawrence continued, "But Mike, you need to ask Uncle Mond to make arrangements

inside the prison and make sure that Aria will be protected. Staying there must be very difficult for her."

"Alright. I know what to do," Mike answered.

"Well, that's good," Lawrence replied.

Just at that moment, Mike suddenly saw the anxious look on Greg's face. He immediately understood

what Greg was worrying about so he asked, "What about Violet? Is she okay?"

Mike was right because as soon as he mentioned Violet's name, Greg's expression became less

tensed. This was actually what he had been wanting to know.

"She is in the last course of her treatment now and she might recover very soon. My parents are now in

the ward with her," replied Lawrence.

"Well, that's good to hear," Mike said with a nod. He was giving a hint to Greg that Violet was all fine.

"Tell Greg that all my family members thank him so much for what he did for Violet," Lawrence said in a

cold and flat voice.

"Sure, I will. So, when will you be coming home?" Mike asked again. "As soon as her last course of

treatment finished, we will go back to Hong Kong. Then I'll go back to the city after I make sure that she

is just fine," Lawrence replied.

He paused for a moment then continued, "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Well, I'll wait for you to come back home." Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

After hanging up the phone, Mike wanted to say something to Greg. However, before he could open his

mouth, his phone rang again.

Greg looked at his phone and saw Uncle Mond's name on the screen.

"It is from Uncle Mond," Mike said to Greg in confusion. "Take your time, Mike," Greg replied.

Even if he wanted to hear what Mike and Lawrence talked about, he still thought Mike should answer

the phone first.

Mike then pressed the answer button and greeted, "Hello, Uncle Mond."

"Mike, where are you right now?" Mond asked hurriedly. "I'm in the XS Hospital with Greg," Mike

replied.

"Can you come to the JC Hotel with Greg right now? I'm here with your Dad and your Uncle Derek. We

need to discuss something with you," Mond said in a calm voice.

"Okay," Mike replied at once. "I also have something to tell you," he added.

Mike immediately stood up after hanging up the phone.

He said to Greg, "We need to go to the JC Hotel now. We can talk while we're on our way there."

"Alright," Greg replied without having a second thought. He then walked out of the office with Mike.

Greg drove on their way to the hotel while Mike sat in the passenger seat. He was trying to tell Greg of

what Lawrence had said.

After contemplating for a moment, he finally said, "You don't need to worry about Violet anymore. She's

doing fine. Her parents and Lawrence are with her."

"Well, that's good. She is the only person I care the most so I can't help but worry," Greg replied.

Actually, he already overheard Lawrence when Mike was talking to him but he felt more relieved when

he heard it personally from Mike.

"Lawrence said he wants to thank you for what you have done for Violet. All members of his family

appreciate it very much," Mike told Greg what Lawrence asked him to say.

Greg immediately shook his head after he heard Mike's words. "They don't need to appreciate it. It has

always been my greatest wish to free Violet from those scars but..."

Greg suddenly looked depressed as he continued, "I also hope that she'll come back to me."

As he saw the depressed look on Greg's face, Mike patted him on the shoulder and said, "Greg, don't

worry too much. Violet will definitely come back to you. Lawrence accepted you as his brother-in-law

long time ago. Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Cherry also didn't have any objections when you married their

daughter. Do you think there can still be other reasons why she will not come back to you?"

Greg shook his head again at once. It seemed that Mike was right. There was really no obstacles

between Violet and him. However, after thinking for a moment, he distressingly said, "But Violet, she..."

Before Greg could finish his words, Mike interrupted, "Greg, don't you believe in the love between you

and Violet?" As Mike mentioned the word love, Greg suddenly felt confident.

Of course he trusted their love. So, what he would do next was to wait for Violet to come back to him.

"Okay. Let's end the topic about you and Violet. After all, we all believe that you still both love each

other so much. Let's talk about some other important things," Mike said. He needed Greg's cooperation

in order to finish the most important thing that he needed to do right now.

"Well, what did Lawrence say just now?" Greg questioned. "He asked me to tell you that your task is to

take good care of Aria's mother and to keep her safe," Mike answered.

"Then, what about Aria?" Greg asked again.

He was also a little bit worried about Aria. Life in prison must be tough for a woman who was just set up

by others. He was afraid that Aria would suffer a lot in prison.

"Don't worry, Lawrence wants Uncle Mond to take care of her," Mike explained.

They both fell silent for a little while. Then Mike suddenly remembered something so he turned to face

Greg and said, "I almost forget something very important. I think you should go to your Dad and

convince him to take Sharon home. It's actually the reason why I came to see you today. You can't just

leave her to be with Sally anymore."

"Oh, I see," Greg replied. He paused for a moment before he continued, "I just remember now. During

that time when I was trying to save Mrs. Kate, I saw Sharon and Sally standing at the door of the ward.

But when they saw me, they didn't go inside. I just didn't know what they were planning to do at that

moment."

"Well, just forget about that. Things already happened and we couldn't do anything about it anymore.

We just need to solve it now," Mike said. He was no longer in a sad mood and he was somewhat

relieved when he continued, "We are very lucky to have Lawrence as a friend. We don't need to worry

about anything when he is with us. He can always figure out a way to solve any problems."
