Chapter 121 The Weird Card Game

Chapter 121 The Weird Card Game

Everyone thought they were going to play in the hall, but Karson took Baron to the interior box.

Except Baron, Tracy and Susan, the rest of guests were all Karson’s fellows.

There was even a workbench used for exchanging chips, which was to say, Baron could keep playing

so long as he had money.

“Bloke, you are the first one to provoke me here!”

Karson laid supine on the chair, took a Cuba cigar and an attendant hurried to light it.

Baron wasn’t willing to say an extra word, took out a black gold VIP card and gave it to Tracy near him,

“Go and exchange for five million chips!”

Tracy didn’t feel good, as she knew Baron squandered money for her despite being rich. But she still

followed his words.

Karson laughed coldly, “Merely five million? You dare to defeat me?”

“What if I am lucky and win all the time so that you cannot stand it and surrender?” Baron gave a light

smile.

“You wish! That’s impossible.”

Karson scoffed, so did his attendants.

Karson came to regret wasting time on him.

He heard the news that a gorgeous woman appeared at the penthouse. He saw the whole scene

through the supervision camera.

He thought Baron was able to take out ten million easily and had some special talent.

“Go!”

Baron said nothing and he uttered “all in” when Tracy took the chips here.

Karson was surprised, as he thought Baron wouldn’t take big risks. He became serious, for few could

collect such a huge sum of money quickly across Cona.

It was just the beginning now that Baron said he wanted to defeat Karson.

After all, it was Karson’s place so he could not show fear or lose the five million chips.

Croupier began to deal. Each person got one card. Baron then showed a 4 on the table.

Karson didn’t turn over his card. He laughed loudly when seeing Baron’s card, “You are not lucky! Ha

ha…”

“Why are you so confident? What if you get a 3?” Baron bantered.

Karson jeered, “Maybe I will let you down!”

Then he turned over his card and didn’t bother to see it. He stretched out his hand to fetch the chips.

“Bro!”

His attendant cried, while he glared at his fellow, “What?”

“You lose!”

The attendant said cautiously.

“Got it… Wait, what?”

He put his hand on the chips and was astonished. He looked at his card and it turned out that it was a

3. He was stunned.

“Sir, confidence is okay, but overconfidence is embarrassing.” Baron bantered.

Karson’s face turned pale and secretly glanced at the croupier, who was shocked.

“It is just the beginning. My luck is waiting for me.” Karson chuckled.

Baron smiled lightly and didn’t fetch the ten-million chips. He said, “Ten million this time. Deal!”

Karson squinted at Baron and followed.

The croupier dealt.

Baron turned over his card and it was a 5.

Karson smiled coldly, “You will lose this time.”

He was stunned when he turned over his card. He lost once again!

A diamond 4 turned up and Baron laughed, “It seems that I am really lucky.”

Karson showed a twisted face. It was no big deal to lose, but his own croupier dealt, and he lost for two

running rounds.

The key was that all Baron had got were low-point cards, but he still won.

“Twenty million. All in!”

Baron gave a light smile, “Go on!”

Baron won every time, so Karson couldn’t have a chance to stake. He was controlled by Baron.

He had to follow the stake.

Round three! Baron got a 6, but the croupier was surprised because when he shuffled, he made some

tricks so it couldn’t be the card 6!

She could do nothing but hope Karson could win this time.

Karson was also nervous. He wasn’t afraid of the failure, but he felt something weird. Baron got a 4, a 5

and a 6, while he got a 3 and a 4. He feared that he would get a 5 this time.

Onlookers also shared the idea and they expected to see that when Karson turned over his card.

“It’s a 5!”

Everyone was taken aback. Karson was astounded.

“Fuck you. I will kill you if you still give me this damn card!”

Karson cursed the croupier who was scared and nearly burst into tears.

Baron smiled, “Sir, you cannot stand it? Don’t you say your luck is waiting for you? It is just the

beginning. Why are you so angry?”

“Shut up, bloke! Or I don’t mind beating you.” Karson said madly. From NôvelDrama.Org.

“Sir, why do you threaten me? You cannot stand it already?”

Baron didn’t fear but gave a light smile, “Or I don’t need you to confess. Just let me leave and I won’t

take the money I win. Okay?”

“Merely thirty-nine million. I can bear the loss!” Karson roared.

Baron laughed, “You have lost thirty-nine million for the first three round. But I’m afraid you may

collapse if you continue to do so.”

“Hold your fucking jaw!”

Karson lost his temper and a Colt pistol smacked the table in a thump.

Tracy and Susan were shocked.

Baron was calm instead and said coldly, “Now that you want to continue, then I agree. This time, forty

million!”

Karson’s chips were gone, and he roared squarely, “Are you fucking blind? Go bring more chips here!”

The attendants hurried to bring a pile of chips over.

The croupier was stunned, as she made tricks for three rounds on end, but how weird it was. She had

never experienced it before.

The croupier dealt again, and Baron kept turning over his card.

Yet onlookers were stunned again when they saw the 7 on the card.

Karson’s face became completely twisted and he glared at the croupier coldly, “You will imagine the

consequence if I get a 6 and you cannot give a clear explanation. Understand?”

Then Karson turned over his card.
