Chapter 176 Sarah’s Invitation

Chapter 176 Sarah’s Invitation

The group had been moping over their dismissal, but with Sion saying that Terry was going to beg

them, their interest in his plan flared up in an instant.

“Whatever you need, Mr. Sion, we’ll go with it!”

The group who’d been so dissatisfied with Sion earlier even added the “Mr.” back to his name now.

The corners of Sion’s mouth curved upwards into an arch. “You’ve heard of Kyle, right?”

“Kyle? You mean, the boss of the Dynasty Nightclub?”

Hearing the name, one of the group asked, shocked.

Sion scoffed. “He is no boss. The Wilson family is behind the club, and Kyle is just a puppet that they

raised to help take care of the club.”

“Just tell us what your plan is, Mr. Sion. The company dismissed us because we followed you. Even if

we found a new job, it couldn’t be as good as in River Construction.”

The group was riled up now.

Sion chuckled and raised five fingers. “Five hundred thousand. Five hundred thousand from each of us

makes three billion for the six of us. With this money, I’ll have Kyle take some people over to the

warehouse to make some problems with their shipping. Then, I’ll show up and talk Kyle down.

“Even if the kid behind Terry really is the chairman of the Brone Group, so what? Kyle is with the Wilson

family. Can’t expect a kid like that to go head to head with the Wilson family, right?

“By then, I’ll be the only person who can help, and then I can set a condition for making me general

manager of River Construction. When I’m up there, you can come back to the company.

The group had been interested in Sion’s plan, but hearing that he wanted five hundred thousand from

each of them, their faces fell. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

“What kind of joke is this, Mr. Sion? We couldn’t get five hundred thousand even if we worked our

asses off at River Construction Materials for a year. Don’t you think it’s asking too much to have us fork

over five hundred thousand at once?”

“Yeah, five hundred thousand isn’t peanuts!”

“That’s too much, I can’t take out that much!”

The five expressed their discontent.

Sion laughed coldly. “Man, you lot are short-sighted. Don’t forget, so long as we can get back to River

Construction, who cares about the five hundred thousand? I can get you that in one month!

“Think about this. I’m going after Kyle here. If it had been just some small fry, I could get them to block

off the warehouse for a few thousands or so. But how would that be useful?

“Kyle has the Wilson family behind him. No matter how strong that young man behind Terry is, how

could he take on the Wilson family?”

Hearing that, the group fell silent, still hesitant.

It was five hundred thousand. Even for former department heads like them, it was quite large a number.

If the plan succeeded, fine. But if they failed, the cost would’ve been for nothing.

“Fine!”

Seeing their hesitation, Sion sighed. “Seems like it’s too difficult for you to manage five hundred grand.

Fine, then! I’ll find some way to put the money together and find Kyle on my own. When it’s done, I can

go back to the company on my own. What’s three million, anyway? I’ll make it back in double!”

“I’ll get you that five hundred K, Mr. Sion!”

Someone finally bit the bullet and agreed.

“Me too, Mr. Sion!”

It was always like this. Whenever someone made the first step, someone else would follow up.

The five who’d been so hesitant earlier agreed to the plan in an instant.

Night fell.

In a luxury compartment of the Dynasty club.

A built man with cropped hair was there, with a death-cross tattoo on his chin directly connected to his

neck and a glaring scar on the left side of his face. He simply looked brutal!

This scarred man was Kyle. He sat on a high-end sofa, a girl on either side, fruit and wine on the tea

table in front of him.

Sion stood cautiously in front of the table, stuttering, “I’ve got a favor to ask you today, Kyle!”

“Say it!”

Kyle snarled.

Sion hurried to clarify, “I want you to take some guys and seal off the warehouse of River Construction

Materials, Kyle. Then agree to negotiation when I show up.”

Only then did Kyle realize that Sion was a vending machine come knocking. He pushed the girls aside.

“Get out!”

Soon, only Kyle and Sion were left in the compartment.

“Since you’re here, you should know my rules. I don’t do anything for less than three million!”

Kyle had a cigar between his lips and a smile on his face as he looked at Sion.

Sion lurched forward and bent over lighting Kyle’s cigar. “I know your rules, Kyle, but I was just fired

from River Construction today, so I don’t have that much money.”

“No money?”

Kyle frowned, voice growing cold.

“Don’t rush ahead, Kyle. I’ll be honest – I’ve got one million in hand right now. So long as you get me

back to River Construction Materials, I promise you, I’ll get you another two million from the company

when it’s done.”

Sion smiled, madness in his pupils.

Kyle had just randomly said three million. He was responsible for the Dynasty Nightclub in name, but

the money all went to the Wilson family’s pockets, not leaving that much for him.

But Sion’s plan would let him get three million at once, which was about a year’s income in his position

at the Dynasty.

“I’ll take that million, but I want another five million when you’re back at River Construction!”

Kyle went big, asking for six whole million just for a bit of sabotage at River Construction’s storehouse.

Sion clenched his teeth and bartered, “I’ll give you one million now, and another four million when

you’re done. If you’re willing, I can give you the one million right now.”

“Fine, deal!”

Kyle knew that it was really a great deal making five million just by showing up with a dozen guys.

Sion breathed a sigh of relief. He’d gotten two and a half million from the other five, so spending one

million now put him at a one and a half million profit.

The key was, he believed that Kyle would definitely be able to get him back to River Construction.

So long as he could get back to the company, he could make back all the money he’d spent.

The next day, as usual, Baron took Lara to school first, then Tracy to the office, and he was left with

nothing to do.

As he was considering where to go next, his phone rang. It was Sarah.

“Are you free, Baron? I want to see you!”

Baron picked up, and Sarah’s gentle voice rang out.

“Are you in some kind of trouble?”

Baron got worried. Bill Davis’ death had had something to do with Sarah, after all. He couldn’t

guarantee that the Davis family wouldn’t come after her.
