“I understand what Roland is saying and I appreciate you advising me so sincerely.” Angela said, “But if I were in the opposite position to Roland, would you turn a blind eye to the love of your life?”

Roland’s pupils reflected her figure and suddenly it was as if she had been scalded.

He jerked his eyes away and batted his eyelashes twice quickly, “You can …… think of something else.”
