Chapter 602 Be Gentle! (Part One)

But for some reason, Carla still felt that something seemed quite amiss.

She was completely clueless as to why Lucy would suddenly show up in this place.

From what she could guess, Lucy probably came here for Terence. If that were the case, Lucy must be

trying so hard to seduce Terence. The question was, 'How was Lucy going to get Terence's attention?'

As far as Carla knew, Lucy and Terence had lived together for two years during the time she went

missing. But throughout those two years, Terence didn't so much as laid a hand on Lucy.

That being said, Lucy appeared from out of the blue and was now staying right across Terence's room.

With that in mind, Carla thought that Lucy must have plotted something before she came here.

With these thoughts running around in her head, Carla took her phone out of her pocket and dialed a

number.

She gave Terence a call.

It didn't take too long before Terence picked up his phone.

"Hello..."

Terence said. Given that he had drunk a few glasses of wine, his voice had gotten a bit hoarse.

"Terence, how long will you be gone? What time are you going to come back?"

Carla went and asked, feeling so on edge.

"I'll probably be coming to the room late tonight. Is something wrong, Carla?"

"Well, I just saw Lucy passing by. And she's staying right across your room. It looks like… It looks like

you're the reason why she came here. But I think she has no idea that I came here with you."

Without beating around the bush, Carla told Terence what she saw just now. After a short period of

silence, Terence replied, "Carla, I'm going to call Rainer right away. For the time being, you should just

stay in his room instead. Give me some time to check what Lucy is planning to do, and I'll keep you

posted on whatever I'm going find out."

As soon as he was done talking, he hung up the phone immediately.

Heaving quite a heavy sigh, Carla could more or less guess that Lucy might have been looking at their

room all this time.

'Oh, no! Lucy was probably thinking it was Terence's room.'

After some time, Rainer arrived and walked over toward Carla. Then, he showed her to his room and

let her wait there until Terence got back.

After a while, Rainer suddenly headed out once more. It seemed that he was discreetly trying to check

upon something.

By the time Terence arrived, it was already midnight.

It was apparent that he had a bit too much to drink. The moment he got back, he headed straight

toward Rainer's room.

So, Rainer lent him a hand in moving Carla's luggage to his room.

"Ms. Carla, you and Mr. Terence should just stay in this room for the night. I'll just go ahead and sleep

in my brother's room," Rainer told her.

"Wait a minute, Rainer. Before you leave, were you able to find out anything about what happened?"

Just as he was about to leave, Carla stopped Rainer in his tracks and asked him.

Hearing this, Rainer couldn't hold back his chuckle and answered, "Ms. Lucy asked someone to add

some aphrodisiacs to Mr. Terence's wine. As of now, we're still trying to find out who it was that helped

her.

Well, I guess Ms. Lucy was intending to seize this opportunity to seduce Mr. Terence…"

"And then what else?"

Carla prodded on.

"Then... Mr. Terence came up with an idea. He asked us to find a male escort who had a similar built to

his and made him pretend that he was Mr. Terence. In the end, we made him go into the room instead

of Mr. Terence."

rude toward her when he got so inebriated last time was still so vivid in her mind.
