** Logan’s POV: **

I was

working in my office, just usual stuff.

But her words, her

tearful face….everything was in my mind… Evelyn Gray stop messing with my mind….

She loves me….

But I do not change

anything I said…

My assistant walks in

after knocking the door, He said, “Sir… King is here to meet you….”

I couldn’t believe

what I heard, I nod and said, “show him the way…” I can’t refuse it, no matter what… he is the King.

After few minutes he walks in and I got up to greet him.

I said, “Please this way..” I didn’t wanted to see this person. His aura is powering.

but why is he here?

I showed him the way to the sofa, I sat in front of him and asked, “Your Majesty, you are here?.. I

never imagined someone as you can come in my office…”

He smirked and said,

I was shocked, he got to know. She told him.

I said, “Even if I

I corrected him, “Evelyn loves me… I never said I love her…”

I added, “Even If I do… I will never be with her because I can’t be with the person’s daughter who

caused my family’s death…”

He chuckled and said, “You think I am here to tell you to be with my daughter?” he laughed. I

furrowed.

The King’s face went cold the next second, he said, “No…. I will never allow my daughter to be with

a person with narrow clouded mind as yours… you are holding grudge for no reason… some emotions

and you became senseless… that’s not what I want my

daughter to deal with everyday.”

I looked at him angry and said, “so this is where she gets her rude speaking tone”

He mocked, “Maybe…”

I asked, “You are here to keep me away from Evelyn, I am doing it myself… why you bothered

yourself, Sir?”

The King said, “To remind you again… stay away from my daughter….. and yes, you are alive

she loves you, she went against her brothers… to keep you alive… or each of them were ready to

I looked down and though his three sons?... he thinks I am scared of him.

I heard King, “You should consider them…. and me…”

I looked at him and asked, “Is it a warning?... but it’s waste since I won’t be chasing her…”

King smiled and said, “I hope you never chase her… I don’t want to see you around my daughter…”

He was about to get up when he said, “And yes.. my wife, whom you hate…. told me to pass this

message” he passed me the letter.
