** Celeste's POV:**
Please Ernest... don't go..... I am sorry...
please come back....
I sat there waiting
for him, helplessly..... Alexis was checking on the boats while, dad put his
people to search... Ace was with me as well as dad. I refused to leave from here.
I want to see Ernest fine... he can't
leave like this...
I was crying
silently.... I am getting crazy in worry. Dad said in worry, "Celeste... go home
with Ace... I will inform you if we found him..." I shake my head in no'.
I stayed stern and
hoping for the best. After 2 more hours it was already evening, the sun is
setting and my worried are engulfing me. the worst thoughts are in my mind.
I noticed a Car
stopping, Evelyn got out of it. By her face I can tell she cried. Aaron was
with her, she seemed worried and losing patience... Aaron was controlling her.
Evelyn noticed me
and walked to me furious, she asked, "Where is my brother?"
I looked down
crying, I don't know what to answer. She grabbed my hand begging me, "please...
tell me he is fine... where is brother Ernest...."
Dad said to her,
"Your highness.. please.. we are search..."
Evelyn said in
anger, "then do it properly.. f*cking do your work instead of staying with your
daughter... send her home.. I can't promise what I will do to her..... send her
away.." Aaron pulled her to himself, she Evelyn cried out loud.

Edwin was standing
by the window with Alisa looking at the view. Edwin said, "Remember how nervous
you where when I first brought you to Beach house.."
She smiled and said,
"Yes... then we came on our honeymoon... then with Kids... I love those memories.."
Edwin's phone rang
and he sigh. Alisa walked to the phone answering it, she said, "Hello...
Alexis.." her face went blank after few seconds, Edwin noticed it. Alisa's eyes
got teary, her lips were trembling. She barely whispered, "We are... coming
back..."
Edwin asked as he
got close to her, "Alisa... what happened..."
She broke down in
fear and pain, her heart sank, Edwin supported her and asked, "Alisa!!... you
are scaring?... what happened?"
She looked at Edwin
and said, "My... My Ernest.. my Ernest..." she couldn't speak further... she was shaking and crying.
Edwin got
anxious.
Edwin asked, "What
happened to Ernest?!!!... Alisa, please tell me...." she looked at him in
tears....not in state to answer... Edwin took the phone to call back. He knew she
was not in state to answer but he was worried about his son too...
Celeste's POV:
2 months later,
Today my final
exams finished.... Got out of the college and went to the car waiting for me. I
got in car, and Ace was sitting in the driving seat.
I sat in the back
seat and Ace passed me coffee saying, "I thought you need it..." I took it and
nodded, I asked, "did you find him?... any news about him..." I was hoping to
know something.
Ace said, "No.. they
still did not find his body.. or remains..."
I said, "don't call
Ernest that.. he is a person... not a body or r-remains.." I hesitated to say the
last word.
Ace started the car
and said, "Celeste, it's two months.. if he was alive then he would have been
found.. and it's snowing, the river is covered with ice... there are the chances
that if they found him it will be his remains..." tears escaped my eyes.. I wiped
it...
I said, "no...." Ace
said, "you have to accept this.. you can't stay waiting for him... even Prince
Alexis is handling the company with King... they also accepted that he is no
more... Prince Ernest is no more..." I looked down.
They never found
Ernest, Steven's body was recovered 1 week later, but Ernest is never be
found.... And I lost every contact with the royals to know more.... I ask dad and
Ace about him almost every day, waited for his news.. that Ernest is alive... but
I got disappointment...
Ernest was never
recovered so the news of him being missing was never realized... dad said they
will wait till at least 1 year... if they still didn't find him, they will declare his death.... dad said there are
really
low chances that Prince Ernest is alive, because it's been 2 months and he was
shot too... they say maybe his body was taken away with the river water.....
I wiped my tears....
it's all my fault.. I shouldn't have got out of the palace that day.. then this
might never happen... I stole a brother from his siblings, a son from their
parents... a Prince from this country....
