Loving My Brother’s Best Friend

She went to the balcony, placing the phone over her ear to talk to Ella.

“Hey, Barbie, how’re you?” Ella asked her.

“I’m sorry, Ella, for ignoring you.” She apologised to her.

“You know, I was so angry with you until I found out why you were acting this way,” Ella said in a solemn tone.

“You know the reason?”

“Yes, I know.”

“How?” Reyna inquired.

Ella exhaled heavily. “Diana visited my house this morning. She was crying because nobody hired her for the job because of Cole, and she told me everything. I’m still in shock, Reyna. How could she do this to you? I never thought that Diana would do something like that.” Reyna sighed and pouted sadly.

“This was the only reason I wasn’t talking to you, Ella. I’m sorry, but after what Diana did to me, I just needed some time to trust anybody again. She was so nice to me. I missed our friendship.” Mechanically a tear rolled down her cheek.

“I can understand. It’s hurting me too. Anyways, how are you?”

“I’m experiencing the best days of my life with Cole. He didn’t let me fall even though I was utterly shattered.” As she took Cole’s name and began to speak about him, a smile automatically appeared on her face.

“I’m so glad to know this. You deserve all of this happiness, and never forget that I’m always there for you.”

“I know, and I’m extremely sorry for dodging you.”

“Hey, don’t be. I can completely understand.”

“I love you, Ella. Now you’re my only friend, and I don’t want to lose you.”

“Neither me.” They both smiled with tears in their eyes.

“Okay, now bye because I’m with him.” She told him gleefully.

“Enjoy, but when we meet, I want all the details.”

She chuckled. “Of course.”

Ella said, “Bye, take care.”

“Bye.” She hung up with a smile on her face.

She was so relieved after talking to her, and she was glad that Cole made her understand and persuaded her to talk to Ella.

“At least, I still have my best friend Ella with me. I should look at the positive side of life. And how can I forget about Cole? If he’s with me, nothing matters to me.” She murmured and returned to the room.

He was styling his hair, standing in front of the mirror. They beamed at each other through the mirror.

“All sorted between you and Ella,” He asked after turning towards her.

“Yes. Thank you.” She rested her head on his chest, smiling with utter contentment.

He embraced her and murmured, “I love you,” before leaning down and kissing her hair.

“Okay, Reyna, now I have to drop you at home because Ethan just called me and told me that he wanted to meet me.” He informed her.

“Why can’t we just tell him about us, Cole?” She pouted at him.

‘How do I tell you that I’m afraid? What if Ethan thinks I’m not loyal to you and just using you for physical needs?’ He thought, staring at her with a serious look on his face.

He placed his hand on her face. “I just need some time, not now please.”

She pouted at him. “Okay.” He leaned in and kissed her forehead.

He dropped her at home and kissed her lips chastely before leaving.

When Reyna entered the house, Ethan emerged from his room, decked in a grey suit. She dashed up to him and gave him a quick hug with a bright smile stained on her face.

“Are you going somewhere?” She asked him, although she knew he was going to meet Cole.

“Yup, I’m going to the club to meet Cole.” He told her.

“Could I join you?” She asked right away because she had already begun to miss him and wanted to see him again, as well as wanted to surprise him.

“Sure.” As he agreed, she grinned widely.

“I just come after getting ready.” She dashed to her room and quickly get ready for the club. She was dressed in a sexy red dress for Cole.

“Cole will be surprised after seeing me with Ethan. I’m so excited to see his reaction.” She giggled before walking out of the room.

She entered the club with Ethan, and her eyes desperately searched for her man. A smile spread across her face as she saw him, sitting at the bar counter.

They approached him, and Cole’s eyes widened a bit in surprise as he saw his Kiddo.

She beamed at him and mouthed, “Hello.”

“What’s up, bro.” Ethan hugged him, but his eyes were glued to his Kiddo who was blowing his mind with her sexy attire. His eyes scanned her from head to toe, and butterflies fluttered in her stomach because of his intense gaze.

They all strolled over to the table and settled down. Reyna was sitting in front of them. Cole was conversing with Ethan while having a drink, but Reyna’s presence was making it difficult for him. She was just smiling.

When Ella arrived, Reyna stood up and hugged her.

“I missed my cheerful Barbie so much,” She said as they pulled apart.

Ella and Ethan sat together in front of Cole while Reyna sat beside him, grinning broadly. She was glad that she got a chance to be seated next to him. They exchanged a sly smile.

Her smile broadened as he interlocked her fingers with his and held her hand under the table. She was just enjoying this secret romance.

As she picked up her phone from the table with her free hand like an excited kid, he wondered, ‘now what is going on in my kiddo’s tiny mind.’

She clicked a photo of their entwined hands while hiding the phone under the table.

They both looked at their entwined hands photo and only one word came out of their mouths, “wow.” They gripped each other’s hands even tighter, and their smiles didn’t fade.

He picked up his phone to message her, and she noticed this.

My Hottie Biker: Someone is driving me crazy with her hotness today. I just feel like freeing you from this tight dress.

She immediately checked her phone as soon as it beeped because she knew whose message it was.

He played the ringtone on his phone; he had become an expert in this.

“Ethan, I just come, it’s an important call.” He lied and dashed away to meet his Kiddo in private because she had turned him on and he wanted to do lots of wild things with her in the bathroom.
