“I’m going to sleep tonight between my brother and my love.” Reyna merrily clapped and squealed as she exited the bathroom after changing her clothes and pad. She would be the happiest soul on the planet. Cole and Ethan were sitting on the sofa, smiling at her. Her radiant smile was their sole source of joy.

She lay down between them, holding their hands with a huge smile on her face like a kid sleeping between her parents. They both kissed her hands, making her smile contentedly. She considered herself extremely fortunate to have both of them in her life.

“You both are my Mumma and Daddy.” She giggled after saying this, and they chuckled. After seeing her cuteness, Cole wanted to devour her, but he restrained himself in front of her brother.

“You know I got so terrified seeing you guys fighting. I almost got a panic attack, but now I’m on the cloud nine. Finally, everything is fine. Now I don’t have to lie to hang out with Cole. I can go on the trip with him. Thank you, Ethan.” She was talking nonstop, and they were just beaming at her.

Ethan and Cole’s hearts were at peace because Reyna was happy. If she smiled, they smiled, and if she was sad, they became sad as well.

“Kiddo, now close your eyes and sleep. Tomorrow you have to go to college.” Cole ordered her in a stern tone, properly tucking the duvet over her.

“Cole is right, now you should sleep, and Cole, you gave her the appropriate name ‘kiddo,’ she is just like a small child.” Ethan seconded him, pulling Reyna’s cheek.

“Okay, my caring brother and boyfriend, I’m sleeping.” As she closed her eyes, they moved forward together to kiss her forehead. They smiled at each other, and then Cole moved away and let Ethan kiss her. She dozed off instantly because of the long and stressful day.

Then they carefully left the bed and went to the balcony to converse with each other.

“Cole, I’m so sorry for distrusting you and hurting you with my words and punch. It just happened in the heat of the moment. Please don’t think that I don’t trust you.” Ethan apologised and clarified things with him.

Nobody could ever break their friendship because it was so strong that whenever a bad situation arose, they both fought but eventually reconciled.

Cole shook his head. “Your anger was justified, Ethan. Relax, I can understand, and I’m sorry for hurting you by hiding the truth from you. Seriously, I was so terrified about how you would react because you know how I was earlier.”

“You hid the truth because Reyna was scared to tell me the truth, right?” Ethan asked him.

“No, Ethan, I was scared, and Reyna was ready to tell you everything from day one. I was stopping her. Who told you this?” He inquired, arching her brows suspiciously.

“Reyna.” As Ethan told her, Cole shook his head in disbelief with a smile on his face.

“This girl is crazy for me. She lied to you so that you don’t get angry with me. Seriously, I’m so fortunate to have your sister, Ethan. Nobody can love anybody the way she loves me.” Cole’s eyes twinkled with delight as he talked about his kid, and he felt blessed to have her in his life.

“No, Cole, you both are equally lucky to have each other because I know you both can do anything for the person whom you love. You know, I’m so glad that my sister has you in her life because I’m certain you’ll never hurt her intentionally, and you’ll do anything for her happiness. I was concerned earlier because you know how innocent she is, but now you have taken away all my stress as I have utter faith in you.” As Ethan said, he just smiled, seeing how much he trusted him.

“And I’m lucky to have a best friend like you who trusts me so much.” Cole took him in a side hug, smiling.

“Anyway, how and when did all this begin?” Ethan asked curiously.

“I fell in love with her without even knowing that she is your sister.” He told him with a smile on his face.

“What? What do you mean?” He asked instantly.

Then he told him everything about how he started conversing with her and eventually fell in love with her, and also how Diana betrayed her. Ethan’s brows furrowed in fury after finding out about Diana.

“I’m not going to leave Diana. I’ll make her life a living hell for hurting my innocent sister.” He freaked out.

“Relax, Ethan. I have already punished her for her evil deeds. I wanted to punish her more, but Reyna made me understand that we are no one to punish her, karma will hit her hard.” He explained to him.

“She is so kind, Cole.”

Cole nodded with a smile on his face. “I know she could never hurt anybody. Even if someone hurt her, she will forgive her and move on with a smile on her face. After all, she is the sister of the great Ethan, she has learned everything from you. Seriously, I can vividly see a glimpse of you in her.”

“And now I can see her in you.”

“I know she’s making me like herself, and I’m falling in love with her as well as this new version of myself.” Cole spoke with glee, and Ethan beamed at him.

“I’m also loving this changed Cole, and all credit goes to my baby sister.” As Ethan uttered, they both gazed at sleeping Reyna affectionately from the balcony.

“I think we shall sleep now. Tomorrow we both have to go to the office.” As Cole advised, Ethan nodded at him.

“Cole, you stay with Reyna. I’m going back to my room because Ella is sleeping alone,” Ethan said as they walked into the room.

“Okay, Good night, and thank you so much for trusting me and understanding me.” Cole again thanked him with a hug.

“Good night, Cole.” Ethan exited the room, and Cole shut it before turning towards her Kiddo, who was sleeping soundly with her mouth slightly open. He strolled towards her and his lips drawn up to a smile as he saw her. He also slept, embracing his whole world in his arms.

The next morning, as soon as his eyes opened, they searched for his kiddo because she wasn’t in his arms. He found her sitting on the sofa, and she was staring at her empty hand with sadness in her beautiful brown eyes. He knew she was missing the bracelet gifted by him after their first make-out.

‘I wish I could get back your bracelet, Kiddo. I tried my best to find those thieves, but couldn’t. However, I have to do something to take away my kiddo’s sadness.’ He wondered, gazing at her with affection.

He smiled as an idea popped into his mind. He immediately took his phone and messaged someone with a smile on his face.

Reyna’s brows furrowed and gave him a wary look, seeing him using the phone, smiling. She rose from the sofa and strode towards him.

She leaned down and hugged him, squealing, “Wow, I’m so happy, I’m so happy. You’re the best, Cole. I love you, I love you.” She pulled apart and placed a hard kiss on his cheek.

“I can do anything for your happiness, Love.” He spoke, placing his hand on her face.

“I’m so blessed to have you.” She whispered, touching her forehead with his with a contented smile on her face.

“You deserve all my love and happiness in this world, Kiddo.” He placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

“Anyway, Cole, who was the girl who kissed you yesterday?” She asked, arching her brows dubiously.

“I don’t know. She must be one of the girls whom I,” he paused as she showed him her hand.

“Stop, I got it. Why were you a playboy, Cole?” She asked and pouted at him grimly because her man had fucked so many girls before her, and it still hurt her every time she thought about it.

He tugged her onto his lap by grasping her wrist. “You know I never believed in love earlier, and this was the only reason I only had one nightstand. Then you walked into my life and everything changed. I changed. Just never get upset, thinking about those women, they mean nothing to me, and you, Reyna, you’re my whole fucking world.” He clasped her face and explained to her, taking away all her sadness.

She just rested her head on his chest and confessed, “I love you,” because the way he explained to her had rendered her speechless.

Ella, on the other hand, was waiting for Ethan to wake up so that she could tell him the truth about Cole and Reyna. Despite her fears about his reaction, she was forced to tell him the truth because she could no longer conceal it. She was only hoping for a positive response.
