Chapter 4 Who Am I to You?

Colette left when Peyton was 8 years old. It was Kason’s birthday that day, and Peyton happily returned home, ready to celebrate her father’s birthday. But she was greeted with a divorce agreement from her parents.

In order to catch up with Colette, Peyton stumbled down the stairs, losing her shoes without even noticing. She clung onto Colette’s leg and cried desperately, “Mom, don’t go!”
