Subtitle: My Contract Marriage

“Oh jeez… That was great. Now I’m bloated.” Jace sighed as he rubbed his stomach.
Alexa lay on the couch’s body with her arms flung up.
She had the same tale as Jace.
They were both bloated from eating too much.
Jace picked up his glass of yogurt and put it in his mouth to drink it, but Alexa stopped him.
“Wait!” Alexa screamed and groaned.
“Ow, my stomach.”
“What?” Jace asked.
“My stomach hurts so bad,” Alexa replied.
“No, I’m not talking about that.” Jace snorted.
“What then”
“You stopped me from drinking up the last of my yogurt. Remember?” Jace rolled his eyes.
“Oh yeah.” Alexa heaved.
“Yeah, so…?”
“You wanted to drink up your yogurt, are you sure you want to do that?”
“Yes… It’s the last of it.” Jace replied.
“Ain’t you full already? feeding yourself isn’t good advice. I’m sure your body’s grumbling at how much you’ve fed it”
“I’m overfed already. That salad was sure deli, I was so gobsmacked.”Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
“That’s what I’m saying. You’re already bloated, taking more yogurt’s gonna hurt.” Alexa pointed out.
“Well, you should have told me when I was still dealing with the fruit salad. I’m bloated already, some yogurt isn’t gonna hurt more than it already does.” Jace responded.
“You know yogurt isn’t ice cream. Yogurt’s sour, you may puke.” Alexa warned.
“Duh… I’m still drinking it.” Jace rolled his eyes at Alexa.
“But…” Alexa tried to speak, but Jace interrupted.
“But what?” Jace sarcastically asked with a glare, and that was enough to tell Alexa ‘let him do what he wants to and face the consequence’.
Well… Alexa decided, she wasn’t gonna try to stop him again. He was grown, she’d let him decide whatever he wants to do.
“Well… You know nothing. Just do whatever you want to.” Alexa said.
Throwing one final look at Alexa, Jace picked up the glass of yogurt he had dropped down before and put it near his mouth.
In a gulp, he drank up the yogurt.
“Are you OK?” Alexa asked with a worried look plastered on her face.
“I don’t think so. I feel like I’m going to vomit.” Jace answered with his face looking all nauseous.
“I told you not to take more than your body can, now you…” Alexa didn’t get to complete her statement before Jace rushed off.
Alexa ran after Jace and found him crouched over the toilet seat vomiting.
“Oh, Jace… This is exactly what I was warning you about.” Alexa sighed.
Meanwhile…
。♡ Anderson ♡。
I sat in my office scrolling through my phone texting my fvck buddies and some business associates my age.
I had no real friends I had no friends.
I only had business associates and people I met on one occasion or another.
Then suddenly, my mind drifted off to that Alexa of a girl.
‘Since you’re scrolling through your Facebook now, why don’t you check if she’s here?’ My subconscious mind advised.
“What for? It’s not like I’m gonna text her or something.” I replied.
‘Well, you do. If not your pride, you so like her dude!’
“No! No, I don’t. What makes you think I like her?”
‘Well, the fact that you keep on showing off how curved your lips can be whenever you think about her’
“That’s because ugh… I… Ugh…”
‘Ugh, what?’ My subconscious asked me sarcastically.
“Nothing. I owe you no explanation!”
‘Serve yourself whatever you want.’
“I don’t care”
‘Whatever’ It said and rolled off to the back of my mind.
But seriously though, my subconsciousness just spiked up my curiosity.
I quickly click on the ‘Search’ button and input Alexa…
Wait!
What was her last name again?
Green?
Oh come on Anderson, she’s not your dad’s daughter.
I think it was something starting from B…
Yeah!
Its Banks.
I quickly typed in the word Banks after the word Alexa and waited a second.
The company’s WiFi connection is really fast, so…
Different profiles popped up on my screen, and I started scrolling and clicking on the ones without a profile picture.
After scrolling for what seemed like forever, and not finding the ‘Alexa Banks’ I was looking for… I gave up.
I switched off my WiFi and dropped my phone on the desk angrily.
Loosening up my necktie a bit, I sighed.
“Guess she isn’t on Facebook then,” I muttered bitterly.
“But who the fvck ain’t on Facebook?” I asked breathlessly.
‘Not everyone is on Facebook rich prince’
“Ugh!” I gritted in frustration.
It was my damn mind once again.
It was back!
“Well, she’s an adult,” I argued.
‘Not all adults are privileged like you idiot’
I groaned when I heard this but suddenly I stopped.
Wait!
It may be true.
The last time she came to visit, she had called from a pay phone.
“Does that mean I’ll have to get her a phone?” I gritted.
‘Well, yeah. You’re a perfect gentleman.’
“Towards her only, that is!”
‘It’s a welcomed change buddy’
“Oh shut up!” I groaned.
‘Anderson, you’re a gentleman…
You have feelings for Alexa…
Anderson, you’re a gentleman,
You have feelings for Alexa…’
My damn mind mockingly sang to annoy me, and it worked.
I got worked up, picked up my phone, and flung it towards the door.
“Hey fool, you’re trying to kill me?”
I looked up at the voice shocked.
“April? what in the barnacles are you doing here?”
“I know you hate me, but throwing your phone at me is attempted murder stupid.”
She glared at me fiercely, and I glared back at her.
“That doesn’t answer my question. Who let you in here?” I asked as anger shot up my veins.
Just then, Becky came in.
“I’m sorry Mr. Green, I couldn’t stop her.” She apologized.
“You’re fired!” I shouted and she looked at me shocked.
At once, Becky got on her knees and groveled before me.
“I’m so sorry sir, please give me another chance.”
“Get out of here!” I screamed and was not able to control my anger, I kicked my feet at her, and she got pushed back.
Slowly, she stood up and left.
I turned to look at April and I noticed, that a smirk adorned her face.
“Unbelievable! You’re becoming as ruthless as I am”
“For the last time April, what are you doing here?” I asked, my head smoking in anger.
“I met with phoebe” she responded, and at that, my blood froze.
