The night of the wedding.

“Linda, every girl must have a bridal shower, Lily suggested, but Linda was not interested, knowing how much of a beast Oliver was in bed.

She would rather have her beauty rest and save enough energy for their honeymoon.

“No, I’m not in the mood,” she politely rejected the idea.

She didn’t have friends, so even if she wanted to have a bridal shower, it would just be with pretentious people trying to worm their way into her life because her status changed for the better.

Unfortunately for her, Lily was not willing to give up on getting her to have that bridal shower.

All her plans had failed so far, and if this also failed, then she would lose her chances of having Oliver like she wanted.

As such, she thought of a way of making Linda more comfortable, Gwen was supposed to come very early in the morning because the wedding w in the evening, but nothing would change if she came earlier than that, right?

“Alright. How about we invite Gwen over?” She asked. The mention of her best friend’s name got Linda excited.

Though they would still meet at school after the wedding, she knew that things would never be the same again during that period.

Lily smiled and made the call. When Gwen arrived, the three of them had the party in Linda’s room, but Lily was the one serving the drinks.

In fact, she was also the one who purchased them, including the drinking glasses. “To my amazing kid sister’s wedding. You deserve all the happiness in the world,” she raised the wine glass in the form of a toast.

“Yeah, I can’t wait to see Oliver,” Lily said with faked shyness, just as she had seen her sister do and also rehearsed frequently in front of the mirror.

Lily had no idea that the bond between her sister and Oliver was so strong that Oliver would find out without even talking to her that she was not Linda,

Still, she had come too far to give u

up and would go to any length to make him believe she was the same person.

He would have involved Andrew, but the latter did not believe it when Oliver mentioned it to him, and as such, Oliver had to do this all by himself

If he needed help along the way, he knew exactly who to contact, as he was the only one who believed what he said that this woman was not his bride

“You are not Linda, and if you lie to me one more time. I will kill you” Oliver’s voice was threatening this time around. Lily shivered as tears formed in the back of her eyes.
