When Adam returned to Skyline No.1 after dinner, it was around 10 p.m.

He unlocked the fingerprint lock, and then he saw Linda sleeping on the sofa in the living room.

Rebecca was not there.

Adam knew where she was.

She must be in her own room.

With a sigh, Adam closed the door behind him, changed his shoes, and then walked to the living room.

"Adam..."

Linda seemed to be woken up.

She sat straight and looked at Adam, face bathed in tears.

And her voice was trembling.

Linda nodded.

"I don't think she did it on purpose.’’

Adam sneered, but he didn't even know why he was sneering.

The next second, he let go of Linda’s hand and rushed towards ebecca's room.Linda sat on the sofa.

She was confused, not knowing why Adam was furious.

Shouldn't Adam take her to the hospital? Why was he looking for Rebecca?

Rushing to Rebecca's room, Adam pushed the door open and roared, "Rebecca, get out!"

Sitting on the sofa in front of the French window, Rebecca, who was staring blankly at the night scene, was frightened by the sound.

Adam pointed at Linda's red, blistered hand and questioned Rebecca like a roaring beast.

Rebecca glanced at the back of Linda's hand and frowned.

How could that be? When the soup spilled on Linda's hand, the back of her hand was only slightly red.

Why did her hand even blister? Unless...Thinking of Linda's cruelty to herself, Rebecca lowered her head and forced a bitter smile without saying anything.

"What do you mean?"

Seeing that Rebecca just smiled, Adam was enraged.

He was almost shouting at her, "Rebecca, what do you mean? Why did you scald Linda? Tell me!"

Rebecca looked at him quietly, calmly, and almost indifferently.

Her voice was low but was not aggrieved.

She didn't deny but only said without any emotion, "Adam, what do you want me to say? I'm convinced by your words."

Adam stared at her with angry black eyes.

At this moment, he really had the intention to strangle her.

He wanted Rebecca to tell him that she didn't scald Linda on purpose.
