Chapter 301
Henry could no longer keep his composure.
How dare a country bumpkin lay a hand on the goddess of Grayvale?
To them, Rivenesco was nothing but a backwater village.
What kind of talent could possibly come from Rivenesco?
Nearly every young heir in the room wore the same expression of disdain mixed with indignation.
How had this bumpkin managed to win her favor?
The jealousy was palpable.
"Well, if Miss McCall has acknowledged you herself, then you must be quite extraordinary. Welcome to Grayvale's gathering," Henry said and kept up a pretense of politeness.
But as he turned his head, he shot a subtle glance at the two men behind him.
"You're from Rivenesco? What kind of talent could possibly come from that place? Hey, kid, have you even reached the fifth grade yet?" one of them asked and sneered. “Just because Mr. Henry is being polite doesn't mean the rest of us are. If you're not qualified, you don't belong here. Not even Allison's backing will change that."
"Exactly. Rules are rules. Even if you were from Central Harbor, you'd have to follow the rules. And you're just some countryside kid. What a joke!" the second man said with a smirk.
Their words immediately drew murmurs of agreement.
"Bumpkin, go back to wherever you came from! You don't belong here!"
"Seriously, look at him. Fifth grade? I'd be impressed if he could scrape by third grade or fourth grade. Fifth grade is a joke!"
"What trash! Honestly, what's Allison thinking? Picking a guy like this? The goddess has truly fallen, huh?"
Allison's face darkened with disdain.
She wanted to silence the jeers.
But before she could say anything, Dustin said, "Fifth grade? Your standards are awfully low."
His tone was calm yet infuriating.
"What did you just say?" The two men behind Henry bristled with anger.
"You think you're qualified to talk like that? All you do is flap your gums. Show me your skills then!"
He then aimed his fist straight at Dustin.
This was exactly the confrontation Henry wanted. A setup to humiliate Dustin.
It was the best time to strike.
Dustin frowned, and he waved his hand in annoyance as though shooing away a fly.
Yet, that casual motion carried an impact that could kill Henry's man.
Bam!
The man was sent flying like a cannonball, and a gust of wind tore through the room in his wake.. Skirted women shrieked as the sudden force sent their hems fluttering.
Crash!
He slammed head-first into a thick pillar and was embedded deep into it as his body slowly went limp.
The pillar shook under the impact. Cracks spread across its surface as though it might collapse at any moment.
The entire room fell silent in terror.
Stunned faces filled the hall.
Henry's eyes narrowed sharply.
That was just a flick of his wrist...
How could a single gesture carry such devastating power?
Who the hell was this guy?
The fallen man was no pushover. He had a solid status in the middle

"My apologies," Dustin said indifferently. “I tried to hold back. Unfortunately, he couldn't handle it."
His comment left several people red-faced with frustration.
"Is he really from Rivenesco?"
someone muttered in a daze. "I don't
remember that place having anyone worth mentioning. How could
someone like him come out of
there?"
"I've never even heard of the name 'Fustin Dox' before. Who the hell is he?"
The crowd buzzed with speculation about Dustin's background.
