My Dominating Apollo

CLARRISA’S POV.

I glanced at Lillian and saw her looking at me with a terrified expression on her face, my eyes moved to Mr. Villin who was staring at me with confusion. He walked towards me and grabbed the card from my hand, I watched him read it calmly and collectively which made my thoughts rush to my head again. How can someone be this calm while reading a death threat from rivalry person? I glanced at Lillian, who was watching Mr Villin with the same expression she had before, “Where is Lydia?” Mr. Villin asked looking at Lillian,

“I don’t know, sir, she’s not in her office!” she said, looking at him, worry for Lydia was evident in her eyes.

“Call her,” he said while turning back and walking out of my office, I turned my head towards Lillian who was dialling Lydia’s number in her phone. I watched her move the phone to her ears, tension began spreading all over my body while I patiently waited for Lillian to say something and Lydia to answer the call. I signalled her to put it on speaker, she nodded her head and put that on the speaker. We two waited patiently occasionally glancing at each other while listening to Lydia’s caller tune.

“Hello!” Lydia’s voice came through the phone and her voice wasn’t clear,

“Hello! Hello Lydia?” Lillian answered, glancing at me while I was releasing the breath I was holding on,

“Yah!” She yelled from the other side,

“Are you okay? Where are you?” Lillian asked,

“I’m stuck in traffic,” she replied while her car horn was loudly coming through the phone,

“I’ll be there in 15 minutes, okay, bye,” she hung up, Lillian looked at me while sighing out loud.

“Thank god! She’s okay,” she said, looking at me with a smile on her face, I smiled back while I sat down on the couch.

“Who sent that card?” Lillian mumbled, staring in the air.

I looked at her and last night’s event flashed in front of my eyes. Did he send it to scare us? Why does he want that? Questions like that popped inside my head, which I have no answers.

As I was thinking all these I heard some one’s footsteps approaching towards my office, I glanced at the door and watched Mathew walk in with Mr. Villin behind him. He walked towards us and sat down on the opposite couches, I watched him release a deep sign while glancing at us, I noticed a sad expression on his face like something was bothering him.

“Apollo said me everything, I’m sorry that you had to go through this?” he said sadly looking at me, I glanced at Mr. Villin before saying, “Please, This is my job, Mr. Mathew” as I said, those words made a smile appeared on his face before he could say anything Lydia rushed into the office hurriedly grabbing everyone’s attention, “I’m sor…” she stopped in mid-sentence when she saw Mathew, Mr. Villin and Lillian sitting in my office, “Is everything alright?” she asked looking at them with confusion on her face, Mathew stood up, “Yes, everything is perfectly fine dear!” he said with a smile on his face while getting up from the couch, “Apollo will take care that person, Don’t worry about it anymore!” he said to me and turned around, Mr. Villin glanced at me before following his father quietly. Something in the way he looks at me always makes me intimidated, I don’t know why.

“What was he talking about?” Lydia asked, looking genuinely confused, Lillian shook her head while smiling and walking out of my office, “Why is she smiling?” Lydia asked while looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

I shook my head as I walked to my chair and sat on it, “Can you please tell me what happened here?” she asked while placing her hands on her waist like an angry teenager.

I sighed as I looked up at her from my files, “We got a card similar to the last one, it said you got kidnapped!” I said looking at her, she gasped while placing her hands over her chest.

“What!” she asked with her eyes widening, I shook my head while lowering my head.

“Oh my God!… wait but nothing happened me though,” she said with confusion written all over her face,

“Yeah, That’s what we thought too, maybe that person wanted to scare us, maybe he thought we would back away!” I said out the thoughts which were running in my mind,

“I think we shouldn’t stress about it now, Mr. Mathew said Hotty will take care of it now,” she said winking at me,

“Hotty?” I asked, surprised,

She looked behind before saying, “Mr. Apollo, Hotty!” She hushed while placing her palms behind her mouth.

I shook my head while laughing at her nickname for Mr. Villin, “Okay, Go away, I have work to do!” I said as I took the file from the drawer,

“Okay!” she said while giggling and walking out of my office.

Days went on, and we were getting busy with our work, Last week, out of nowhere someone leaked footage of Mathew walking out of the police station and instantly it became a scandal, To bring him out of it, I had to make him do other things like interviews and business photoshoots so that the media can focus on his other things and ignore the scandal.

Lydia and I were so stressed about the situation, we had to do all those things which would bring Mathew’s business life to the limelight and make everything with a plan. By taking Lillian’s help I had to schedule all his meetings with the leading brands and launch him at the correct time.

And all those days I haven’t seen Mr. Villin at all, it was like he just disappeared in thin air. I heard Mathew talking to him on the phone saying to take care of himself and all, Lydia said that Mr. Villin was in France because of some family issues. I just ignored her and focused more on my work, till now we were successful in our plans as Mr. Villin’s business has been more successful because of those interviews and magazines.

It was the weekend, Lydia with Lillian had requested me to join them as they both wanted to go to the pub tonight. As we had a few very stressful days they decided to hit a pub for relaxation and enjoy their single life, I couldn’t say no to them so I just agreed because I know I need a break from my busy stressful life.

Right now, I’m getting ready to go with them, I took a shower and dried my hair. I dressed in my favourite Estonished Black Sequins Party Dress, it was not so expensive, but it’s simple and sexy with its sleeveless and Sequins pattern with Spaghtetti Neck. I put some makeup over my face with Rouge Splash shade lipstick to my lips and pulled out my black stone earrings and wore them.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

I took my purse and walked over to my footwear column and took my black high heels out, I wore them and stared at my reflection, A satisfied smile made its way up to my lips as I watched my reflection in the mirror. I turned around and my phone began ringing really loud, I quickly took it out and glanced at the caller id. It was from Lydia. I answered it,

“Hello”

“Hello Clarissa, come down, we’re waiting for you,” she said through the phone,

“Okay!” I replied and hung up on her.

I placed it inside and began walking out to the living room, as I was walking down the stairs I saw my mom staring at me in surprise, “What?” I asked looking at her in confusion,

“You look good,” she said while smiling at me, I walked to her and kissed her cheek.

“Bye,” I said as I began walking ahead,

“Don’t drink much,” she said,

“Okay,” I replied without turning back.
