My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 1368

Skylar felt a pang of disappointment when Joe said he still hadn't remembered anything. But it was understandable.

The doctor had already warned them that Joe's chances of regaining his memory were slim. The fact that he recognized his own identity now was already something to celebrate.

"We're flying back to Jipsburg the day after tomorrow," she said.

Joe simply responded, "Alright, I'll be here when you get back."

Skylar's eyes reddened slightly. Perhaps no one else could understand just how much weight those words carried for her.

An hour later, Joe arrived at Galaxy Villa. Edgar opened the door, his eyes moist with emotion as he saw Joe standing there.

"Mr. Martin, you're finally back! I've been coming here every so often these past years to keep this place tidy. I always hoped that one day, both you and Mrs. Martin would return."

Many had told him he was being unrealistic. Yet over the years, he and Skylar had shared the same hope that Joe might one day return. And now, here he was.

Soon, Gloria and Skylar would be back too.

"I'll take it from here," Joe said to Edgar.

Gloria had told Edgar that Joe still hadn't regained his past memories, so he wasn't familiar with Edgar and might prefer not to be disturbed by any unnecessary chatter.

Edgar smiled and nodded. "Feel free to look around, Mr. Martin. If you need anything, just give me a call." "Thank you."

After Edgar left, Joe began exploring Galaxy Villa. He didn't usually have high expectations for where he lived. As long as it was quiet, cleamand orderly, that was enough. novelbin

Over the past few years, none of the places he had stayed ever felt like home. But here, in Galaxy Villa, he felt something different-a sense of belonging.

Without realizing it, Joe had wandered upstairs to the bedroom. There, on a side table, he noticed a framed photo-a wedding picture of him and Skylar taken abroad.

Even though it was just a photo, something in his expression hinted at the affection he had once felt for her. His gaze lingered, unable to look away.

Meanwhile, at the hospital in Jipsburg, before Rosa had even disembarked from the plane, she had fainted.

Airport staff quickly transported her

to the hospital, where she remained

unconscious for a full 12 hours. When she finally woke up and realized she was in a hospital, she asked for the time, only to discover an entire day had passed.

Fearful that Joe might contact her and that she wouldn't respond in time, Rosa quickly searched for her phone. Fortunately, the airport staff had delivered her bag and suitcase to the hospital.

With the nurse's help, she managed to retrieve her phone.

As she expected, her phone was full of missed messages and calls. Many people had tried to reach her. But none of them were from Joe.

So, his words at the airport... he really did mean to break up with her. He was too heartless.

He didn't seem to care about her current condition at all. Here she was, all alone in the hospital, feeling incredibly weak.

Anger and resentment surged through her, and she glanced over other messages. Cecil, who hadn't replied to her in days, had finally responded.
