Felix hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly let go of
Esther’s hand. Looking up with his chubby little face, he said, ” Mommy, listen
to Grandpaw Clark. Eat and sleep well, and I’ll see you soon.”
“Okay. You have to be good too.” There was a hint of inexplicable joy in Esther’s voice.
Clark and Bradley knew very well that the current Esther had
lost her memories of the past five years, or more accurately, she had falsely constructed the memories
