“God she is gorgeous”I thought when I entered my room. The way my body reacted when she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around my neck really left me struggling to keep myself under control. I didn’t care that she was literally clawing her nails into my bare back because she was frightened, that was actually something I liked. 

I hit my chest as I looked in the mirror and told myself, “Good job Kade! You can’t let her know just how hopeless you are when it comes to your feelings for her. The best job to you too big man…”I said as I pointed at my crotch. 

I recalled how I had to think of the plainest thoughts just so she doesn’t know that I was already rock hard because of how her full chest was glued to me for the first few seconds she grabbed me. 

I frowned at myself and sighed as I pushed my hair out of my face angrily. Just why am I unable to hate her after what she did, I mean, there was I time I deeply hated her but now when I see her it feels like I imagined hating her. 

I was burning with lust just because her boobs touched my chest. I cursed because I knew I had to relieve myself somehow before she comes inside my room. Why did I even tell her to come in here? I can’t ruin this, I would ruin everything if I don’t control myself. 

Shutting my door as quick as possible, I ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower. When I was done with taking care of my throbbing desire, I got of the bathroom and sprawled on the bed. 

The things Viola does to me is just too much. She makes me feel love, pain, regret and bitterness all at once and the fact that the negative feelings she steers in me are much more worse than the love I once had for her was definitely a sign. 

I jolted when someone knocked on my door but I didn’t really think it through when I said, “Come in.” 

Viola walked in dressed in lavender and pink oversized shirt and her slippers made an annoying sound as she walked in. I stared at her, wondering why she held a bowl of something white in her hands. 

She turned around after shutting the door and I looked away from her because that oversized shirt did nothing to hide her curves. I pretended to be interested in the wildlife documentary that was on TV while waiting for her to say whatever she had to.

“Umm…can I sit.”She said, staring at me innocently and then at the bed. I bet she wouldn’t be the least bothered if she sat on the bed with me since she finds me…unattractive. 

I mean, Klyde and I are identical, if she hates him and can’t stand his body, she must be very uncomfortable with the way I was totally half naked! Why haven’t I put something on?! I panicked and got up from the bed suddenly, startling her.

“You can sit.”I said simply and went through my closet and took out a tank top and my pajamas pants. Then I motioned for her to give me a second and then I started to get dressed right in front of her. 

I wore my tank top and then started to put on my pants when I noticed that she wasn’t looking away. Her eyes were on my body like she was in some sort of trance.

“Viola…do you mind?”I asked and she blinked several times before she covered her eyes with her hands and said, “sorry.” 

I knew that gesture, when she blinks repeatedly it’s because she’s trying to process something. Did my body surprise her? Or was she absolutely disgusted? 

“I’m done. Now what was it that you wanted to talk about?”I asked and she slowly put down her hands before she sat down on my bed and scooped a spoonful of what I now saw in her bowl – yogurt and fruit. I blocked out the memory that wanted to pop in my head as I cocked a brow at her intimidatingly and waited for her response.

Viola

I was nervous, I literally couldn’t look him in the eye because he’d caught me ogling his body not once but twice! But why on Earth would he not put on a shirt in the first place? I said to myself and scooped a large amount of yoghurt and fruit before eating it frustratedly.

“Did I imagine you saying you wanted to talk to me.* Kade asked, placing his arms on his waist as he looked at me. Damn he even knew how to dress sexy, why didn’t he just put on the complete pajamas? Instead he’s wearing a black tank top and blue pajamas pants. 

“I wanted to… Know why you’re the one I’m married to.”I finally said when I managed to organize my thoughts after getting it out of the gutter. 

Kade looked surprised, like he didn’t think that was what I wanted to ask. 

“I’m sorry…”he said, his voice getting two times deeper as he came closer to me and folded his arms giving me a stern gaze.

“… do you prefer my brother?”he asked and I shook my head vigorously. 

“Of course not! He tried to rape me for heaven’s sake. I’m relived that it’s not him I married.”I explained. 

“Then why did you ask me that?” 

“Because, I thought your father was making me marry Klyde because that’s a criteria for inheriting the company. I mean he already has the other criteria…kids.”I said and watched as he clenched his teeth and went back to where he stood before, resting his back on the wall. 

“I guess for this to work I’ll have to tell you…everything.”He said after as while of silence. 

“Yeah you’re right about my father making a stupid rule about how his heir must be married with children before he hands over the company. That’s why my brother and I did everything not to have any of those.”He said while I listened attentively.

“But since I decided to leave the company, he made me marry you to keep me under his control.”He said as he shot me a deadly glare. Why was he angry with me? It’s not like I want any part in this marriage!

“How could he make you do that? It was your choice to leave the company. Why didn’t you also reject his schemes?”I asked, setting aside my bowl of yogurt.

“because I can’t actually leave just like that – he has to approve of me leaving. Apparently the only way he would approve of me leaving is if I marry you for a year.” 

I swallowed my yogurt painstakingly when he said that. I was confused, why would his father do that?

“Trust me Viola, I hated the idea of marrying you a lot but I hate working for my father more. Every time I make a really amazing achievement but everyone always says it’s because of my father. I want to have my own company and make my own name, I’m tired of living behind his success.”Kade said but as much as I understood him, I couldn’t help but hear him saying he hates being married to me.

“Oh I see,”I said simply and shoved a spoon of yoghurt in my mouth.

“– without sex”he interrupted and I almost choked.

“without what now?” 

“You heard me, don’t make me say it again. Besides a that shouldn’t be a problem since you already find all this repulsive.”He said, gesturing at his body.”And I honestly can’t stand to see your face either. Just stay out of my face and I’ll stay out of yours.” 

I snapped my head in his direction, wondering why he would think I find his body repulsive. It’s just Klyde and his own disgusting body that I hate – not him or his body. I wished I could say that to him but I decided against it since it would be weird for him to hear that from the person whose face he can’t stand.

I really wanted him to be able to break free from his family. “It’s not cool though that they’re doing this to you. I’m sorry that I became a weapon for them to use against you.”I said but he didn’t respond. 

“What about my children?” 

“They’ll be here tomorrow morning.”He said simply and readjusted his folded arm. 

I knew this was hard for him, first they make him marry a woman he clearly hates, now they’re going to bring his brother’s children to live with him? 

“I’m sorry to bother you this much. It’s all my fault.”I said simply before I got up and left his room with him locking the door immediately after I left. He really didn’t like me one bit did he? 

I went to my room and found Zeus sleeping on my bed. I guess it was a good thing that Zeus liked me, he would make a good pet and a friend.
