Painful seduction

She rolled on her bed trying hard to sleep but couldn’t at all, she thought of making herself feel better by drinking but she knew it would only worsen the case.

Now she was falling head over heels for him and now she’s discovering he had been lieing ever since.

Who knew if he was only faking love to her, memories flooded back when they had dinner together in the restaurant.

He had invited her for dinner as a way of saying thank you after he had been discharged and she couldn’t deny the fact that he had made her experienced what she hadn’t for a long time.

The feeling she got whenever he stared at her or touched her was something she has never felt like before.

Then hearing the news that he was never close to Axl and then being his brother were all lies.

She couldn’t believe he was actually using her to get what he wanted.

Was she going to believe all that Rhea and Dementrio had told her? Or what Damien said? There was only one way to find out and that was talking to Axl himself.

She stared into space as she thought of her past trying to remember everything that had happened, she didn’t even know her parents or what her sister looked like.

After visiting Axl and confirming that Rhea was right the next step will be going to the orphanage. She thought hard and then slowly drifted into deep sleep.

Rhea woke up to see a different face, body like Cindy but had the face of an intruder.

‘You scared me Cindy, your dressed up as Alexia Bachman, Are you going somewhere? She asked yawning.

‘ I want to know you is saying the truth, you and your boyfriend or Damien ‘ she answered.

‘ so your going to meet Axl dressed up as Alexia Bachman?’ .

‘ yes precisely ‘.

‘ Do you want me to accompany you?’ she asked.

‘ No, I will do it on my own. Rhea I want to apologize for what I said last Night, I was really pissed off’ she started off softly.

‘ It’s no problem at all, just make breakfast for me and i will forgive you’ Rhea said In a chuckle.

‘ Your something else, how did you do dinner yesterday?’ she asked applying a lip gloss

‘ Dementrio cooked for me last night ‘.

What she heard made Cindy turn to look at her as she asked rather surprised,

‘ Yes , he brought me back home and since you already said you had dinner he decided to make me one’ she answered in a lovable manner.

Rhea’s phone beeped and from only her expression you could tell it was from Dementrio.

‘ I won’t deny, his romantic which is something I never expected ‘ Cindy said after reading his text.

‘ I told you he was just going through a phase’ she sounded like her prophesy had come to reality.

‘ Then you better inform him I won’t be around and that he should cook breakfast for you’.

‘ Don’t be harsh to me right now’ Rhea said as she made a sad face. ‘ Although am happy I will have another opportunity to spend time with him’.

‘Have fun Rhea and also be careful ‘ she said as she got closer to embrace her before leaving the house .

Her drive to where she wanted to meet him was a long drive but it wasn’t her fault. He insisted they met somewhere far away from his office.

It was suspicious but she had no choice than to obey him.

She met him there , It was an expensive and classic Bar. She looked around and found him in one if the tables, he was drinking and looked happier than the last time they met .

‘Hello ‘ she greeted as she hugged him.

‘ Yes, someone called and claimed to be your brother ” she lied.

Her statement made Axl scowl, he tried hard to suppress his laughter when he discovered she was serious.

‘ Discard anyone saying his my brother, I have no brother or sister and that’s the truth ‘ he answered.

Cindy got cold chills but she still maintained composure as she interrogated further .

‘ You have a best friend ?’ she asked .

‘ Yeah, Dementrio. Did he do something?’ he asked as he feared greatly of the possiblity of Dementrio exposing his secrets.

‘ No not at all, just wanting to know if I was the only friend you had’ she lied again.

He heaved a sigh of relief.

‘ Dementrio is my only friend, we met back in college. His a nice guy but his brother…” He allowed those words trail off.

‘what happened?’.

‘ His the worst guy Cindy , Damien can actually do anything for money’.

Rhea was actually saying the truth, she thought.

He told her the truth of not owning the wealth but promised her that he was working on a plan to make her sign the papers , the only thing he wanted was for them to stop seeing for a while in order not to create suspicions which might make his wife really mad and notice he had been pretending to love her.

He got a call in the middle of his explanations and had to leave .

She felt sad and betrayed by Damien after all Axl had already confessed that Damien had been lieing to her.

To think she was in love with him made her more angry and pissed off.
