going to Owen's law firm to pay the fees.
When she walked out of the law firm, she got a phone call from Vivian.
Vivian had heard from others that Madelyn had lost her job. She asked, "Where are you? I'll come to
find you and treat me to a meal."
Madelyn agreed as it was not convenient for her to go back home now.
Vivian treated her to a hotpot meal. In the steaming restaurant, Vivian put a beef roll into the spicy pot
while cursing, "Elizabeth, that bitch! I didn't like her when we studied at the university. She would try to
seduce any men who looked successful. At that time, when you were Daniel's girlfriend, she even tried
to seduce Daniel, publicly or secretly."

phone which was put on the desk rang.
It was from the manager of the restaurant where Madelyn was a part-time worker.
Madelyn answered the call. The manager said something, and then Madelyn slowly put down her
phone and said to Vivian, "I was dismissed by the restaurant."
Vivian was furious.
She snapped, "Daniel did it, right? Why is he still pestering you? Madelyn, go, let's go to find him. I
must seek justice for you. That son of bitch has deceived you for four years, and now he's trying all
means to force you. Will he only feel satisfied until you die?"
Madelyn stopped Vivian.
She begged Vivian not to go to find Daniel because she knew that Daniel did all this to force her to
surrender. He wanted her to be his mistress!
Vivian cried and cursed, "How could Daniel treat you like that? He was engaged with Eloise and had an
affair with that bitch, Elizabeth. He's so dirty. How dare he ask you to come back to him?"
Madelyn begged Vivian not to go there because she knew Daniel did all those things to force her to be
his mistress.
Vivian was so angry that she cried out. "How could Daniel treat you like that? He not only engaged with
the other woman but also had an affair with that bitch Elizabeth. He's so filthy. What qualification does
he have to ask you to come back to him?"
