Chapter 43 He Has Emotions too

“But ......” She wanted to say something else, but was stopped by Jerry, who smiled and pushed the hot

milk to Adelaide, “Adelaide is right, I also believe that Antonio will take care of it. He is not an

irresponsible person!”

Hanna was angry, “You still believe in him? Are you in the same boat?”

“Hanna!” Adelaide scolded with a frown. She knew her best friend spoke for her, but she still said to

Jerry with an apologetic smile, “Sorry, Hanna just said it for me!”

Jerry knew it was Antonio who had done something wrong, so he buried his head and stopped talking. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

Adelaide was discouraged, while Antonio was going well.

Koby was meticulous and efficient. After that day the shareholders had sold their shares and when he

handed those signed agreements to Antonio, Antonio was pleased.

It didn't take long for Alvin to find out about it. He came to Antonio's office in anger, but was stopped by

Koby at the door.

What made him even more furious was that he argued with this ‘watchdog’ for a long time before

Antonio painlessly reprimanded Koby for stopping him.

He was older than Antonio, but his grandmother took over the family after his grandfather died.

It was his grandmother’s compromise that she accepted him as the illegitimate son, so she would not

agree him to be the president.

So, after his grandfather died she let Antonio take charge the company and send him out of the country

for further study.

He now came back, but only had fifteen percent of the shares!

Alvin slammed the door and entered, Koby retreated outside the door. Alvin strode to Antonio, grabbed

his collar and pushed him to the corner, “Antonio!”

Antonio shook off his hand and punched at his face. Alvin grabbed Antonio and hit Antonio's face.

They stared at each other, erupting killing intention that made people shiver.

They then fought until both of their tops were torn open. They looked at each other and suddenly

laughed.

“Antonio, your face is still so nasty. I'm really sorry I hit you!” He wipe gently at the corner of his mouth

with his thumb, taking away the blood.

Antonio laughed lightly and looked at him with disdain, “It's okay, uncle, I also hit you.”

Antonio raised his hand and rubbed his face, spit out a mouthful of blood and a decayed tooth, “I have

this cavity tooth for a long time, thank you for knocking it out!”

Alvin raised his eyebrows. Although the two were not the same generation, both had harsh eyes. He

smiled wickedly, “Congratulates!”

“I should congratulate on you too. Many shareholders were bought by me, you can be idle for a long

time!” He poked Alvin in every word.

Alvin’ face changed and then he said, “Antonio, I will not give up on this!”

Antonio shrugged his shoulders and smiled lightly, “Ok!”

“Hmph!”

Alvin flung his sleeves and left.

Koby then came in. He looked at Antonio in surprise and pushed his glasses, “Mr. Antonio, are you

okay?”

“I am okay. Call the cleaner to clean it up, and get me an ice pack.” Antonio instructed, and Koby

nodded.

Fortunately, he had a spare shirt at the company. Antonio changed it and went to the bathroom to wash

his face.

The three people had dinner outside. Adelaide's mood was better, with more smiles on her face, due to

Jerry and Hanna.

At this time, Jerry's cell phone rang. He picked it up and found that it was Antonio. Antonio's voice

came out from inside, “Where are you?”

“I'm having dinner with Adelaide.”

“What? You and Adelaide?” Antonio asked excitedly.

Jerry awkwardly explained, “And Hanna!”

At that, Antonio's tone eased up a bit and then he hung up the phone.

“It was Antonio, but he hung up!” Jerry shrugged his shoulders, wondering why Antonio called him. And

he was surprised that Antonio's didn't send someone to follow them!

Hanna taunted Antonio, and only Adelaide knew that Antonio didn't like her to get too close to other

men, especially his own friends!

Antonio was upset after hanging up the phone. There would be a dinner party in a few days and he

hoped that Jerry bought a dress for Adelaide.

But he didn't expect Jerry to have such a good relationship with Adelaide. He looked down at his watch

and found it was now twelve o'clock. According to Adelaide's usual behavior, she was definitely home

at this hour!

He rubbed his brow and felt an overwhelming headache. Although he believed his good friend would

not do anything to his wife, as soon as he thought that Adelaide would smile at him, his heart was in

turmoil and he instinctively wanted to prevent the two from meeting in private.

He stood up from his chair and muttered, “I need to go home!”

It was easy to solve his relationship with Adelaide, but the problem was Clarissa.

He felt for the first time that having a mistress was troublesome. And his mistress was good at making

troubles. If Alvin found that woman, his reputation as president would be ruined.
