Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1843

Chapter 1843

Terry felt strange.

After Tina was hospitalized, Wilson almost had never left her. Apart from picking up his daughter from kindergarten occasionally, Wilson spent most of his time in the hospital. He had not gone to the company during this period, and just ordered Terry to bring the relevant documents and materials to the ward to be handled.

Every time when Terry came to the ward, he would notice that the atmosphere in the ward was cozy and comfortable.

Yet it was different this time. Wilson and Tina respectively sat on the two sides of the sofa, and they were separated by a large distance in the middle. What's more, their expressions were very unpleasant.

Terry was extremely shocked.

It was truly a rare instance.

Ever since Wilson and Tina fell in love with each other, Terry had been indirectly harassed by their PDA (Public Display of Affection) very often. As a result, Terry had become so eager for a love relationship that he signed up for blind dates on the Internet.

In fact, Terry was slightly unsatisfied with the PDA (Public Display of Affection) of Wilson and Tina.

Now that he finally saw that Wilson and Tina had quarreled with each other, Terry inexplicably took pleasure in it.

Of course, Terry would not be so bold as to directly demonstrate his pleasure. He pretended as if nothing special had happened and slowed down his pace tentatively.

Terry cleared his throat. "Ahem... President Chin, I have brought the contract with Heng Xiang Group..."

Wilson said in a deep voice, "Put it there first!"

After the contract was put down, Terry stood aside in a well-behaved manner. He wanted to reduce his sense of presence.

Tina was wearing a hospital gown, and her wrists thus looked even more slender. She rested her hand on the armrest of the sofa and pursed her lips. "Wilson, don't do this, okay?"

"No!" Wilson replied.

Tina's expression was stiff, and there was obvious displeasure in her tone. "You've gone too far!"

Wilson frowned, yet there was no room for submission in his eye expressions. He seemed to be a little unhappy. Snorting slightly, he said, "If you think it's okay, then it's up to you. But I won't change my mind!"

After the two of them argued, the atmosphere became even more unhappy

Terry observed what had happened between the two of them with caution and confusion.

Seeing that Wilson and Tina were serious, Terry broke the silence and tried to divert their attention. "President Chin, Miss Hall, have you had your dinner yet? Do you want me to call the restaurant to send some takeouts?"

Tina put on an angry expression. "No need. I'm not hungry at all!"

She then looked at Wilson's face, which was gloomy and cold. Feeling even more bitter in her heart, she did not want to say anything else. She stood up and wanted to go back to the hospital bed.

As Tina stood up too fiercely, she almost felt blacked out all of a sudden, and she staggered a little.

Terry said anxiously, "Miss Hall, are you okay..."

As soon as he spoke, Wilson had already stepped forward and supported Tina with his arms.

Wilson looked concerned. "How are you? Are you all right?"

Tina still seemed to be angry. She pursed her lips and tried to break away from him. "I'm fine. But it's none of your business!"

Wilson hugged her tightly and pushed her back to the sofa. He frowned and said, "Are you still pretending to be okay? The doctor said that your reactions after the mobilization injections were a little bit too serious. He specifically emphasized that you should have a good rest in the next few days so that your immunity level won't be lowered!"

Behind the lens, Wilson's eyes were full of concern.

Tina's heart suddenly softened.

The grievance and anger of her had now disappeared. Tina sighed and said, "Wilson, I know you are worried about me. You think I'll be too tired, but those design drawings can't be delayed anymore. The deadline stipulated in the contract is approaching. I have to complete modification of all these drawings!"

Wilson said in a low voice, "I think your health is the most important thing!"

"I know!" Tina smiled.

She blinked her eyes, embraced his sturdy chest with her arms, and discussed with him in a pleading tone. "How about this? Let's both take a step back. I'll modify only one drawing every day.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

You can just look at me. If you feel that I'm too tired, you can stop me. I'll listen to your instruction, okay?"

Wilson seemed to compromise helplessly. "Well... I really can't force you to do anything you don't want!"

Tina rested her head on Wilson's chest and flattered him with an obsequious smile. "Wilson, you're my Mr. Right."

Wilson enjoyed something like this very much, and there was then a happy smile on his face.

It was not until then did Terry finally realized what had happened.

He originally thought that Wilson must have quarrelled with Tina. He actually was a little delighted that something had gone wrong with the two lovers, who were fond of PDA (Public Display of Affection). But it turned out that his conjecture was wrong. Wilson and Tina were not quarrelling with each other. It was simply because Wilson was worrying about Tina's health and did not want her to work a lot...

It was nothing but another show of PDA (Public Display of Affection)!

Terry was speechless. After a long while, he murmured, "Sorry to disturb you!"

After Wilson finished browsing the contract, he signed his name on it.

Terry's mission today was completed. Before leaving, he did not forget to congratulate Tina with a smile. "Miss Hall, I heard that you're going to go through an operation of bone marrow donation tomorrow. I wish you all the best!"

Tina nodded with a smile. "Thank you for your good wishes!"

Terry was afraid that the show of PDA (Public Display of Affection) might began again at any moment. He left the ward as quickly as possible.

The door of the ward was closed again. Thinking of Terry's last words, Wilson took up Tina's little hand and wrapped it with his own palm. "Tina, the medical techniques are very advanced nowadays. The doctor will anaesthetize you when your bone marrow is drawn out tomorrow. You will not feel anything uncomfortable or painful. It's just that there may be some discomfort when you wake up after the operation!"

As Wilson had the experience of bone marrow donation before, he was passing on his experience

Tina.

Tina's expression was relaxed, and she looked very cooperative in learning. "Alright!"

Wilson asked, "Will you be afraid of that?"

"No!" Tina smiled. In order to ensure that Wilson would not worry about her too much, she tried to console him. "In fact, it will just be a minor operation. It's nothing special. When I gave birth to Isla many years ago, I lost a great deal of blood. The bleeding was very serious at that time, and I almost could not go through it. Even the doctor told me later that it was a miracle I could survive!"

After she finished speaking, she saw that Wilson became silent.

Tina knew that he was distressed about her past experience.

She could clearly see that his eyes were full of pity and regret.

Tina shook his big hand like a spoiled child. "It's okay. It's all over. If I'll be giving birth to another kid in the future, you must promise that you'll always be with me!"

Wilson's Adam's apple rolled up and down, while his breath became heavier, as a mixture of emotions surged up in his mind. He pulled her into his arms tightly, and his thin lips kissed her temple. "Well... I will never let you be alone again!"

Tina smiled warmly.

As the night fell, the bright moon was hanging high up in the sky, and the hospital was enveloped by the beautiful moonshine.

According to the principles of preoperative preparation, the hospital had specially prepared some nutritious food for Tina. Although the food was lightly flavored, Tina happened to eat too much tonight, and therefore Tina felt uncomfortable in her stomach.

Wilson held Tina's hand and took her outside of the ward to take a stroll.

The ward was connected to a closed pedestrian bridge, and the visual field there was broad. Usually, many patients would take a walk here.

When the two of them passed by the emergency passage, the night wind blew in, and they both felt very comfortable.

Wilson was afraid that Tina would catch a cold, and therefore he gently touched her shoulder and said, "Tina, wait here. I'll go back to the ward and fetch a coat for you!"

"Alright!" Tina replied with a smile.

After Wilson returned to the ward, Tina's mobile phone rang.

She looked at the video-chat request sent by her lovely daughter and picked it up with a tender smile. Immediately, the innocent and apple- like face of Isla appeared on the screen.

As the light was dim inside the emergency passage, Tina walked toward the pedestrian bridge.

Isla was wearing cartoon- pattern pajamas, and revealing two rows of lovely teeth when she smiled. She knew that Tina was going to receive an operation tomorrow, and therefore she specially made this phone call to encourage her mother. "Mom, come on! You're a heroine!"

Tina replied her daughter with a smile.

The mother and daughter talked to each other for a long while. Before hanging up the phone, Isla said, "By the way, Mom, don't forget to tell Grandpa that I love him!"
