Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1863

Chapter 1863

With the two small pigtails above her fluffy hair, she looked was as beautiful and cute as a doll.

She was smart, lively, and adorable. During the half a year when she lived in the hospital, almost everyone liked her, from the doctors and nurses to the parents of other children, and so did Old Master Amery.

He stared at Isla with loving eyes.

After all, both Isla and Tina were related to the Amery family by blood.

Bill and Lin had been married for many years, but they didn't have a son or a daughter before knowing Tina was Bill's daughter. Old Master Amery also had given up hope of getting a descendent. He was thrilled by the lively scene with Tina and Isla at home.

Bill had introduced him to Isla, so she didn't feel strange to him. Isla, not being shy, bowed to him with her two chubby hands crossed before her chest.

"Nice to meet you, great grandfather."

Old Master Amery, trying so hard to stay calm, could not help being overly excited.

"Good, good, good!" Old Master Amery said it three times in a row and smiled, "Isla, here is a greeting gift for you!"

Isla did not take it immediately but turned to look at Tina first.

He was worried that Isla would not accept money, so he prepared a gift at a reasonable price - a barbie doll set. It would not make her feel burdened. Besides, barbies were little girls' favorite toys. Old Master Amery was considerate enough.

Tina agreed with a nod.

Isla smiled and said sweetly, "Thank you, greatgrandfather!"

Just like last time, the cook had prepared a decent meal.

Old Master Amery took the main seat, and Bill sat opposite Tina and Isla.

Before entering the villa, Bill had already informed Tina that Old Madam Amery would not show up.

Bill explained, "Lin has something urgent to deal with in the Lim family. She might come back late. As for Ab by, she seems to be busy designing something and has been staying alone in the room recently. Just now, the servant said that she would not come down for dinner..."

Hearing that, Tina stayed collected and nodded. "I see."

It seemed that Abby could no longer maintain her composure.

When Tina came here the last time, Abby pretended to be kind and welcome to her. But this time, she just couldn't keep pretending.

Tina restrained her playful smile and tasted the nice dishes done by the excellent chef of the Amery family.

Compared to the quiet meal last time, they had a happy and lively time with Isla at this meal.

Isla made a pig of herself with the tasteful food that Old Master Amery and Bill put into her plate. With her cheeks bulged with food, she was like a cute little squirrel.

With Islas accompany, Old Master Amery had a better appetite and ate one more bowl of rice than usual.

Not long after dinner, Lin hurried back. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Lin invited them to the glass greenhouse in the backyard of the villa. However, after sitting with them for a while and listened to them talk about the design, Tina felt it quite boring and ran out to play. After all, she was a child.

Old Madam Amery stayed in her room all night.

Her room was on the third floor, and she could vaguely hear the movements downstairs.

Old Master Amery and Bill asked her not to meet their guests, which was exactly what she wanted. She was not willing to go down and upset herself.

Knowing that Tina had come here again, Old Madam Amery wanted to go out to avoid her, out of sight, out of mind. But she felt that it would be shameful to run away from Tina. It seemed as if she regarded Tina as important. Therefore, she chose to stay at home but refused to meet them, which demonstrated her condescending attitude towards Tina.

She didn't like Tina because she was Ovia's daughter.

Old Madam Amery looked down upon Ovia. In her eyes, Ovia was good for nothing but her beautiful face, a woman far inferior to her son. Unfortunately, Ovia was noble and had pride in her bones who disdained wealthy families.

Her pride aggravated annoyed Old Madam Amery.

She felt offended. In her eyes, an aristocratic family like the Amery family must be respected and honored by ordinary people.

It would be fine if Ovia were humble to her. She might teach Ovia a lesson and give her a chance to marry into the Amery family. However, Ovia did not appreciate her kindness and even detested the

idea, which was not something that Old Madam Amery could tolerate.

Old Madam Amery had dinner in her room. When the servant packed up the tableware and left, the door was left half-open.

In the corridor, there seemed to be the running footsteps of a child.

Old Madam Amery couldn't help walking to the door to check up.

Isla also noticed her. She looked into the door with her big, sparkling eyes and asked in a childish voice, "Are you great-grandma?"

She saw that Old Madam Amery's hair had turned grey like her great-grandpa's and smartly figured out who she was.

Old Madam Amery was slightly stunned.

She knew that Tina would come with a child. However, considering that Tina gave birth to a child before marriage, she guessed that her child must be an ill- bred rude girl. Unexpectedly, the little girl called her in a clear voice. What a smart and cute child!

The aged were very attracted to children full of vigor and vitality.

Even a mean person like Old Madam Amery couldn't help wanting to be close to Isla when she saw her.

She picked up the candy plate on the cabinet at the corner and picked up a lollipop from abroad. She opened the package and handed it to Isla. "How about a lollipop?"

Isla took it, put it into her mouth, and said with a brilliant smile, "So sweet."

Old Madam Amery smiled. "Why are you here alone?"

Isla grinned and answered, "My mom and grandma are chatting in the greenhouse. I felt bored, so I ran out. It's so big here. I almost lost my way just now!"

Hearing that Isla mentioned Tina, the smile on her face faded a little.

To be honest, the little girl was a real sweetie.

She had never expected to see her greatgrandchild alive. If the news spread out, her friends of the same age would envy her very much. However, when she thought that the little girl's mother was Tina, she felt her chest tighten with anxiety and was at a loss what to do next.

After casting another glance at Isla, she silently turned back to her room.

Looking at the closed door, Isla tilted her head, wondering why she suddenly became unhappy. With a blank look in her big eyes, she ran away.

It was getting dark, and Tina and Lin finished their talks. Tina was going to call Isla to leave.

When they returned to the villa, a female guest carrying a black handbag came from the entrance and said to the servant, "Hello, I am Miss Amery's design assistant. She called me to send her something!"

The maid said hurriedly, "Please come with me!"

The female guest followed the maid upstairs. When she just took a few steps, Isla, who ran speedily down the stairs, bumped into her accidentally.

Seeing this, Tina quickly rushed forward to Isla.

Fortunately, since Isla was just a small child, neither of them were seriously injured. Isla just bounced back and fell to the steps.

The unexpected impact bumped the guest off balance. In a hurry, she steadied herself by holding onto the railing of the stairs. However, her handbag was knocked off.
