Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1865

Chapter 1865

Mr. Willard grumbled in front of Wilson.

He had always been very arrogant. Countless designers had come to his door begging for his cooperation, but he rejected them all.

Wilson broke the rule painstakingly established by him.

However, when he saw the embarrassed expression on Tina's face, his face softened, and he said in a gentle voice, "I've also seen that fashion show. Miss Hall, your design is brilliant and outstanding. They didn't spoil my works at all. I'm glad that I made an exception for you!"

When he said this, he looked at her with undisguised admiration.

Hearing this, Tina was flattered and said gratefully, "Thank you!" Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

"If you need my cooperation in the future, you can come to see me directly. Don't let this bandit rob me again!" Mr. Willard said with a note of sarcasm in his voice.

Wilson didn't care about it at all. His lips gently curled up.

Tina smiled and replied, "Okay!"

While they were talking, a tall and straight man in a gray suit came up to them. He was outstandingly handsome with a gentle temperament.

The man looked at Mr. Willard and said, "Grandpa, I heard that you were here. Let's catch up on old times!"

"Okay, Go with you right now!" Mr. Willard nodded with a smile. "Sorry, you two, I'll take my leave first!"

Then, he waved goodbye to Tina and Wilson.

The man also nodded slightly and left with him.

Wilson explained casually, "He is Amin Stark, Mr. Willard's grandson and also the third son of Stark family!"

Hearing that, Tina nodded gently.

Her eyes moved slightly, and she couldn't help looking at his receding figure.

It was not because of his outstanding appearance but because he seemed shrouded in deep melancholy. His eyes, especially, were in eclipse.

In stark contrast with the lively atmosphere around him, he was very isolated and depressed.

Wilson, narrowing his eyes behind the glasses, looked sideways at her. "Handsome man, right?"

Tina shuddered in her heard as she heard this.

Within seconds, she shook her head and said firmly, "Not as handsome as you!"

She could always come up with an excellent answer to this kind of dangerous question.

Wilson remained untouched.

Seeing this, Tina asked tentatively with a flattering smile, "Are you jealous?"

Wilson curled his lips and said, "No!"

Tina was surprised.

She looked at him with uncertainty, thinking that he was deliberately talking ironically, but he didn't look unhappy at all. She couldn't help but be a little surprised.

Usually, when he encountered such a situation, he would be insanely jealous.

Wilson looked relaxed and said slowly, "Amin had a girlfriend, and they loved each other. But a year ago, she accidentally died of an avalanche when she climbed up. It was said that they were engaged. Since then, he has been trapped in sadness and sorrow! He just cannot let go of this girlfriend!"

Hearing this, Tina suddenly understood and couldn't help laughing.

No wonder he didn't care.

However, Tina suddenly understood why Amin got his melancholy aura.

The banquet ended at eight o'clock, and the guests left one after another.

While Tina and Wilson were waiting for their driver to drive the car over, Amin also walked out with Mr. Willard, who seemed to be drunken with his eyes half-closed and needed his support.

Seeing this, Wilson asked, "Is Mr. Willard okay?"

Amin replied, "It's okay. Grandpa has never been good at drinking, but he was happy to meet some old friends here tonight, so he drank two more glasses of red wine than usual!"

Wilson said helplessly, "Still the same!"

In the night, Amin looked even more downcast with his sad eyes. He behaved gently and nodded at them without saying much. "Then I'll send grandpa back first!"

Wilson nodded and said politely, "See you!"

Amin nodded and left.

Meanwhile, the black Rolls-Royce drove over, and Tina and Wilson also got into the car.

They all thought that they would remain this nodding acquaintance for a long, long time. But in the future, they would be deeply involved with each other.

But at this time, none of them had expected that.

It was Friday evening.

The sun was setting in the west, and those gorgeous clouds were piled up in the sky.

Tina was in no hurry to return to the No.1 Luxurious Residence after work. Instead, she went to the expo center on time for Lin's appointment with her.

When she arrived, she found out that there was a new winter product release event there.

The brand company that organized this event was the one Abby was working for.

When Tina accompanied Lin into the scene, the show had already begun. Abby, dressed in a formal suit, was standing with her assistant and staff.

Upon seeing Lin, she immediately walked over with an elegant smile and said, "Auntie!"

However, when she saw Tina beside her, her eyes glinted.

Because of her failures in a row, the headquarters became quite dissatisfied with Abby, making her feel a little embarrassed to face others in the fashion industry. She deliberately invited Lin here to show others her status and profound family background.

But she didn't expect that she would come with Tina.

Abby forced a dignified smile on her face, but even the intense beams of the spotlight could not free her eyes from gloom and hatred.

"Sorry, we're late!" Lin explained, "I've made an appointment with Tina, so I asked her to come with me!"

After Lin took Tina as her disciple, she was worried that Abby would be unhappy, so she deliberately found an opportunity to explain it to her. To her relief, Abby was very generous, and she repeatedly emphasized that she would not mind it with a smile. Beyond that, she said she was happy for Tina.

Lin believed her words and took Tina here without hesitation.

"I see!" Abby also nodded with a smile at this time.

Lin said, "Abby, I've just come in and heard many good comments!"

Abby replied humbly, "Thank you!"

After exchanging a few words, Lin took out her cell phone that was ringing. It should be a call from home. But the music inside was too loud, so she said, "Abby, Tina, you two keep on talking. I'm going out to answer a phone call!"

After that, she followed a staff member out of the door on the side.

Only Tina and Abby were left.

Neither of them wanted to talk, so they all silently turned to look at the models under the stage light.

In this show, models went in circles around the catwalk with professional steps and attitudes, showing the designers' new products from all angles.

Finally, it was Abby's turn to show her works. Tina looked closely at the stage.

The models were strutting down the catwalk with their hands on their waists.

Eying the new works designed by Abby, Tina raised her eyebrows slightly, and the understanding that dawned on her was reflected in her eyes.
