Chapter 251
Quentin stopped laughing, but he was still smiling. He nodded. "He is not only an expert but one of the greatest masters."
Anyone who could make Quentin say that must be truly great. Naomi had such a great talent for wood carving; she must have inherited it from her father.
Dylan's interest piqued. He asked, "Why didn't we invite him? We should invite him. If this project goes well, more people will become aware of this type of art. This is good news for all wood carvers."
Quentin chuckled and waved his hand. "No, no."
Dylan blinked. "Why?" NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Quentin smiled and said, "He doesn't like being bound by something. He likes to do things he enjoys. He has a wood carving shop and is usually quite busy. He doesn't have the time to deal with anything else."
"Ah, I see. We can invite him to Herland for a visit. It'll be fun."
"Sure. I have no problem with that if you can get him here."
Quentin naturally meant Dylan, Scott, and Naomi.
Dylan thumped his chest confidently. "Sure! Leave this to me!"
Quentin chuckled again.
The atmosphere in the car was very lively as they chatted happily.
Dylan's chauffeur started the car and drove away after receiving Dylan's call. Before leaving, he looked at Charles, who was standing on the opposite road.
Charles left in a taxi not long after Naomi. He was returning to the hotel.
He had visited Naomi's parents before he went to Herland. He wanted them to know he was visiting Herland, and he wanted to see if they needed anything from there.
Donna went shopping when she found out Charles was going to Herland. She purchased items that were unavailable in Herland, including Naomi's favorite food. She also packed a few clothes for Naomi.
Donna had no idea Naomi would be in Herland for so long. Her clothes were most likely insufficient.
As a result, more than half of Charles' luggage contained items for Naomi. He did not bring much for himself.
He planned to give everything to Naomi when they returned at night.
Before that, he needed to return to the hotel to organize the things in his luggage.
As the taxi drove off, Dylan's chauffeur drove off in the opposite direction. Charles never knew that a car had followed them.
Naomi arrived at the event site around one in the afternoon. Everyone had arrived a little earlier than she did, but it made little difference. They continued working once everyone was there.
Dylan snuck a few glances at Naomi. The woman's expressions did not seem to differ much. He could not help but smile.
He thought of the photos he had seen. Naomi's stare at that person was emotionless. He could tell from her gaze that they were friends. One could barely say that she had feelings for the man.
That meant Scott still had a chance.
However, based on Naomi's treatment of the man in the photo, that man had a better chance of winning than Scott. However, no one knew for sure.
The man in the photo was no match for Scott's manipulation. Even so, the entire process made Dylan excited.
He was secretly thrilled at the thought. He was curious about the man in the photograph. Hopefully, Jonas will be able to give him more information by the end of the day.
Meanwhile, at Herland's biggest casino—Las Feliz.
