"What the hell is happening?!" Wei Qian shouted as the cave shook greatly. The four men stood in
caution, staring at the cave ceiling before Cao Wen touched his earbud to speak.
"Captain! Captain are you there?!"
"Captain!"
Cao Wen cursed loudly when only buzzing sound was heard from the other side, it was something that
he rarely did. The earthquake kept on going and Cao Wen decided to make a call. However just when
he was about to make a call, the shaking stopped.
"It stopped.." Cao Wen muttered and heard a noise coming from the gate.
Four men quickly took their guns out and pointed it at the gate, their eyes fixed on the gate as it started
to open slowly. Holding their breaths, the four men watched the gate opened and soon they saw Zhi
Qiang walked out of it, looking so haggard and exhausted.
The men didn't lower their guns. It was because Zhi Qiang's eyes looked different somehow. The eyes
were colder than ice, dark and filled with hatred, like he had become a different person.
As for Zhi Qiang, yes.. he had become a different person. Even though he didn't completely changed,
still there was traces of it. It was because Zhi Qiang regained his memory and a little bit of the power
that Zhong Kui used to have. Hence the reason why he became so haggard. His body was almost
ripped apart by his past life's energy that was stored in Blood Moon.
And the stare..
As he received the energy, Zhong Kui's soul started synching with it and his memories. The hatred he
had for Heaven Realm somehow transmitted to his eyes, thus making his men cautious. Zhi Qiang
realized this and opened his trembling lips to speak.
"...It's.. Me.." Zhi Qiang said before darkness claimed his mind.
"Captain!" The four men lowered their guns when Zhi Qiang lost consciousness and fell to the ground.
Cao Wen touched his neck and looked at the three,
"He fainted, better go get ambulance right away." Cao Wen said, "An Fu you call ambulance, I am

The group arrived at the VIP room number 404, they could see the forensic team came out of the room
a little bit far from the one they stood in front of. A man with dark brown hair came out along with the
team, he caught the group of youngsters within his line of view, standing in front of room 404. The room
where the witness called Xiao Yin was in. His sharp eyes narrowed as he moved closer towards them.
Ming Yue saw the man wearing a long black coat, white shirt and black trousers, moved closer toward
them. Sensing that the man would question their purpose of being here, she readied herself.
"Who are you people?" The man asked bluntly, without even minding courtesies.
Ming Yue frowned slightly but she answered the question nonetheless, "We are.. acquaintance of Xiao
Yin. We have heard about what happened to her mother and we came here to show support."
The man stared at Ming Yue for a while, his eyes never left her face. It as if he was thinking of
something. Seeing how the man fixed his eyes on His Lady, Xuan Wu stepped in to block the man's
view. A polite smile was on his face, "Can we visit Miss Xiao Yin?" Xuan Wu asked.
The man stared at Xuan Wu before sighing while ruffling his dark brown hair. "You can, but you won't
be able make a decent chat with the person."
"Why?" This time the one who asked was Yang Lixin, "Is she injured?"
"No. It's because.. ah whatever, you will soon know why." The man spoke and opened the door,
entering ahead of them.
The group looked at each other, looking puzzled. They were wondering what did the man meant by
saying 'won't be able to make a decent chat'. They followed the man and entered the room. As they
entered, they could see Xiao Yin sitting on the bed, rocking her body back and forth while mumbling
some words that it couldn't be heard well.
Seeing such state of Xiao Yin and the way she looked like a patient of mental hospital, the group was
surprised. Especially Ming Yue, she didn't know that the pretty and prideful girl she used to know could
be reduced to such state.
"As you can see, the girl is mentally unstable. She couldn't recognize people in a normal way." The
man explained.
"I see.." Ming Yue responded simply, it seemed she couldn't get information from Xiao Yin. Her eyes
stared Xiao Yin, looking at her pitiful state. Sighing softly, Ming Yue could only think how retribution
came in an expected way at times.
Xiao Yin who was rocking back and forth, finally caught Ming Yue in her lines of view and she froze.
She screamed and climbed down the bed to rush at Ming Yue, as if wanting to attack her but she
couldn't because Yang Lixin quickly blocked her.
"MURDERER!!!" Xiao Yin shouted as she tried to reach Ming Yue. "IF IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF YOU!!
MY MOTHER WOULDN'T DIE!!!
"MURDERER!!!"
"GIVE ME BACK MY MOTHER!!!"
Ming Yue frowned at Xiao Yin's words while the man with dark brown hair turned his sharp gaze at
Ming Yue, watching her every reaction. Suspicions were clearly seen on the depth of his eyes.
"Why did she call you 'Murderer'?" Interrogated the man
Ming Yue turned her gaze, meeting the man's sharp eyes. The man was quite stunned by the coldness
that was radiating from those black jade eyes. "I don't know. I am here only for support." Ming Yue
answered the man calmly.
The man's eyes narrowed slightly before taking something from his black coat. "Do you know this?" he
asked, showing a bird feather that had dark green color.
Ming Yue frowned even more, confusion was clearly shown on her face but not Ling Mao. She reached
for Ming Yue's hand and held it tightly. Ming Yue turned her gaze down and saw the worry and
seriousness plastered on her child face. Voice echoed in Ming Yue's mind.
"Master.. the feather reeks with demon's scent." Ling Mao spoke and Ming Yue somehow had an
understanding of what had happened.
The movement of Ling Mao, Ming Yue's reactions and the change of expression in Ming Yue, all of it
were caught by the man. However, before he questioned Ming Yue more, a scream filled with terror
escaped Xiao Yin's lips.
"MONSTER!!!" Xiao Yin shouted and pointed at Ming Yue,
"YOU MADE THAT MONSTER CAME AND ATE MY MOTHER!!!"
"YOU CURSED CHILD!!! YOU ARE THE SAME AS THAT MONSTER!!!"
Couldn't take it anymore, Lin Zhao spoke to Ming Yue, "Sister Yue, we better leave." Her face was
distorted seeing Xiao Yin's crazy antic, clearly she was unhappy hearing Xiao Yin's words.
"Yeah, this girl is a nutcase." Lin Shao said, clearly disliked how Xiao Yin accused his sister.
"I agree. We can't do anything at all." Mu Chen added, fixing his glasses while sighing.
Ming Yue nodded and turned her gaze to the dark brown haired man, "We are going to leave. Please
excuse us." she said and nodded to Yang Lixin. Yang Lixin pressed the nurse calling button while the
group left the room. The nurses quickly rushed toward room 404 while the group was waiting for Yang
Lixin to come out. It didn't take long for Yang Lixin to come out, followed by the man with dark brown
hair.
"Let's go home." Ming Yue said to Yang Lixin as soon as he exited the room.
"Yes, Young Miss." Yang Lixin said with a soft smile.
As the group was about to leave, the man spoke. "Wait!"
"You know something, don't you?" The man asked, staring at Ming Yue. "..You and that child, both of
you know something."
Ming Yue turned around slightly, staring coldly at the man. "..Mister, I hope you don't speak so
carelessly like that. I don't know anything."
"Oh? Then should I say it differently then?" The man sneered, "Then how about this.. I think this
murder case has something to do with you."
"Do you have any proof?" Ming Yue asked, her tone became arrogant as she daringly met the man's
sharp eyes.
The man became silent, Ming Yue snorted and turned around, continued her steps as she left with
others followed her. The man stared at the group until they entered the elevator then muttered softly.
"..I don't have any proof.. but I will find it.."
"And when I do.. you won't act so arrogant again.."
