Chuck had been around Yonas for a while, but as Yonas' private chef, he was somewhat of a mystery. Xavier and the others. had never met him. After greeting Lucy and Yasmine, Chuck offered with a bright smile, "It's pretty chilly out. How about I give you ladies a ride home?"

"Thanks, Mister," Lucy replied sweetly, her face glowing with cheer. She welcomed any chance to get back at Xavier and Yvette.

Yasmine couldn't help but smile. Given Chuck's carefree nature, it was clear he was here on Yonas' orders.

She followed Lucy into the car and glanced back at the building shrouded in shadows. Her eyes deepened as her mind drifted back to the second floor from hours earlier.

"Ms. Sanchez, Fheard from Mr. White that you have a strong background in psychology. I have a patient I'd like some help with." Yonas looked at her, his voice soft.

"Sorry, I don't think I can help. You should find someone else," Yasmine declined directly. If she hadn't married Xavier, she believed she could have been an excellent psychologist. But now, the thought of treating a patient made her hesitate. The setting sun cast a gentle glow across Yonas' face, softening his features. He smiled gently, not looking the slightest bit annoyed by her refusal. "Ms. Sanchez, just take your time to think about it"

After Yasmine and Chuck drove away, Xavier's expression turned even colder. The sudden shift of Yasmine's attitude left him feeling off-balance.

He got in the car with a long face, and heavy silence hung in the air. Only when Yvette cuddled up next to him did his mood lift with her sweet scent.

"Xavier, my parents are coming over tomorrow to talk about our wedding. Will you be free?" Yvette's beautiful face lit up with anticipation.

For a moment, Xavier felt dazed. For the past three years, he had been waiting for Yvette to marry him. Yet, as the day approached, an unsettling calm settled over him, leaving him completely devoid of excitement. "Xavier?" As he remained silent. Yvette called him gently again.

After a long pause, Yasmine finally said, her voice h**e, "But I haven't practiced psychology for three years. Taking on a patient now would be irresponsible."

For her, going from three years as a housewife back to pursuing her dreams was going to require both courage and time.
